00:35investment. Sir Sadiq said he is delighted to be launching the groundbreaking Singapore-style
00:42housing development arm for the capital. He said he was proud to be investing £100 million,
00:49one of the largest investments made by any mayor of London, to help build and deliver thousands
00:55of new high-quality and affordable homes at Silvertown, adding that this is a new era for
01:02house-building in London, with City Hall investing directly in new homes, unblocking stalled sites
01:08and speeding up development. The mayor said of the new investment, it builds on City Hall's
01:15record investment of nearly £12 billion through his affordable homes programme to deliver social and
01:22affordable housing across London and the package of pro-housing emergency measures.
