Remulla cites 'inconsistencies' in statements of Ateneo coaches, players over tragic training

Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla says on June 19, 2026 that investigators found inconsistencies in the statements of the Ateneo Blue Eagles coaches and players as to what happened during the team building activity at a beach resort in Dipaculao, Aurora that claimed the lives of Rene Clert Baterbonia and Divine Adili on June 8. Remulla did not provide details.
