00:00Have you discussed your campaigning's strategy, because that is growing narrative that some of the federal
00:10Bahasa national leaders comes with baggage, so if they are seen, you know, so is there a certain narrative that
00:17the end is going in the view in Johor?
00:20Well, I think for Johorians, what we are trying to say, ataupun apa kita campaign ialah,
00:30lihat apa yang kita buat, bukan apa yang kita cakap.
00:35Just based on what we do, not based on what we say.
00:40And I think most Johorians can see that we have been doing quite well this past four years,
00:49and if they want to continue, teruskan dengan apa yang kita telah buat,
00:57I think that I am going to give you a mandate to us to continue.
01:02Kita dah tak ada masa untuk eksperimen.
01:05This is not the time to eksperimen.
01:11We, kerajaan yang saya pimpin hari ini mempunyai pengalaman.
01:15Macam mana nak handle JSACZ?
01:30We know them.
01:32We've got special report.
01:33Kita ada hubungan.
01:34So, there needs to be continuity.
01:39But that continuity can only happen if they make the right decision on the 11th of July.
01:46Dato, kalau kita tengok,
01:47Dato, ada pihak-pihak yang mempunyai sentimen atau isu-isu macam 1MDB itu,
01:53apa pendapat itu?
01:55Bagi saya, you know that case is already ongoing.
02:01Mungkin mereka ketandusan isu.
02:07Ataupun bagi saya, more importantly is, what is their plan for Johor?
02:17Siapa calon tul besar mereka?
02:20What is your vision for the next 5 years for Johor?
02:24What are you offering to the people?
02:27To me, that is the most important thing.
02:32Instead of spreading hate, instead of spreading lies,
02:38I think leaders should give a positive plan so that people can rally
02:44and see what you intend to offer for Johor for the next 5 years.
02:51You know, my sentiment, benci, hatred is very easy to incite people, you know.
02:57But whether they can actually do the work when the time comes,
03:03it's the most important for me.
03:06So this time around, are you looking at things that are affecting the state,
03:10that would be the issues, the federal issues would not be something that people would look at in Johor?
03:16Obviously, what happens in federal and state,
03:19there are the connection, you know.
03:22But,
03:25bangsa Johor or rakyat Johor must be aware that at the state level,
03:31there is a certain parameter that we can do to get things done.
03:35At national, it's a different ball game.
03:38That's where all the national policies happen.
03:40So many voters, however, are concerned about daily expenses.
03:43How do ordinary Johor is feel the benefit of this investment in terms of increased wages,
03:48job opportunities, or cost of living?
03:50And if you continue,
03:52and as you have said,
03:54after you come back to power,
03:55and the next year,
03:56you would increase the BKJ.
03:58But, how much is this sustainable in the long path?
04:02Look,
04:03BKJ, to me,
04:07will help
04:10as a short term measure.
04:13And, you know,
04:15it's not something new.
04:17In Singapore, they also have,
04:19what those vouchers, right?
04:22I, I, you know,
04:23and we're doing it in Johor as well.
04:25Dekat Kampung Melayu Majidi.
04:28Have you been there before?
04:29The Medan Selera?
04:30Yeah.
04:31But, where do you need to go?
04:32That's okay.
04:34Well, you must go.
04:36Well, we learned it from Singapore,
04:38but the food is reasonable,
04:41the,
04:42the,
04:43so dark,
04:44for me,
04:45one of the best laksa Johor,
04:47to me,
04:48is in Kampung Melayu Majidi.
04:50They got the recipe from Istana.
04:53And then,
04:54the,
04:55the,
04:55so,
04:59we're trying to replicate that,
05:01at all the other PBTs.
05:04Supaya bangsa Johor,
05:05that's,
05:06that's really easy to go.
05:06there was a place where he can go,
05:08the food is warm,
05:10or is reasonable,
05:11that's really easy.
05:13So, that is,
05:14for,
05:14for daily,
05:16consumption.
05:18But,
05:19the same,
05:21we're also doing,
05:22program for anak-anak muda when it comes to perumahan especially you know we've hit about 25,000
05:30affordable houses built so far we are targeting up to 100,000 by 2030 so that is on track under
05:39Datuk Jafni's leadership but we don't stop there because not everyone can afford to buy a house
05:45jadi kita ada bantuan sewa rumah so bantuan sewa rumah we give the permohon if approved
05:572,500 ringgit a year we are even looking at helping in terms of paying the deposit untuk nak sewa
06:08rumah
06:10untuk yang beli rumah on top of rumah mampu milik yang dia beli itu we give 5,000 sebagai bantuan
06:19beli rumah
06:195,000 ringgit to pay for legal fees and all that bila dia nak masuk rumah we give another 2
06:25,000
06:25bantuan masuk rumah so it's in total if you qualify you get about 7,000 ringgit so to me
06:38those are short-term and medium measures to help people tetapi this job creation
06:46that is the key so that's why getting quality investments into the state is my main priority
07:08thank you so much for watching
07:08so thank you so much for watching
07:08you
