00:45I think everyone this year at Royal Ascot has really upped their game with the outfits.
00:50Today is Gold Cup day and that's really the time when we see everyone really bring their
00:54A game.
00:55So coming through the gates this morning I've seen some pretty good outfits and lots of
00:59bright tomato as well which was our Royal Ascot colour of the year.
01:03So every year at Ascot we always see a trend that emerges and last year it was polka dots
01:09and the year before it was this kind of periwinkle blue and this year we thought we'll try and
01:13predict it and I was looking at the milliner's collections and the runways and I just saw
01:18loads of this very rich vibrant tomato colour and so we called it and we said that that's
01:23the Royal Ascot colour of the year.
01:25Well it was a purposeful choice.
01:26As soon as I saw the colour theme I knew I wanted to go for the red and it feels
01:31lovely.
01:31I feel really confident in the red.
01:33It's lovely seeing lots of other people in the red as well.
01:36So very vibrant, very bright on a bit of a grey day.
01:39We like to sort of take the theme and then elevate it.
01:43And as a group of friends as well.
01:45Amazing fun.
01:46And we've all got a different look.
01:47The WhatsApp chat group was busy and we said, right, let's all wear red for Ladies Day.

02:05Gold Cup Day, I mean also known as Ladies Day, it's amazing because that's really when you

02:13Everybody wears their best hats, puts their best foot forwards, wear extravagant clothes
02:18and 365 days, 364 days of the year you can be very sensibly dressed but really dress up
02:26and have fun on the other day.

02:28I think it's wonderful, I mean it shows how every milliner is different.
02:35Everybody is telling a different story from small little fascinators, not for the royal
02:41enclosure but smaller hats like little berets but larger brimmed hats that have been worn
02:48by the royals in recent weeks.
02:50It's great to see the real hats making a comeback.
