NSW will experience wet conditions under the cloud band, gradually moving east, with possible light showers elsewhere. Temperatures will remain close to average, with Sydney seeing showers clearing for a top of 21 degrees, and Canberra a cooler 14 degrees with easing showers.

00:00Hi, Jessica from the Bureau with your national weather forecast for tomorrow,
00:04Friday the 19th of June. Let's start by looking at the national weather map. We've got this
00:09unseasonal cloud band stretching from the tropical north down into the eastern parts of the country.
00:15In the southeast corner, a cold front and low pressure system will be moving across,
00:20and in the west, generally fine and settled conditions thanks to a high pressure system.
00:25Now let's check out the states one by one, starting with Queensland. Some wet conditions
00:31underneath that cloud band stretching from the northwest down into the southern inland parts,
00:37with some hit and miss showers for the coastal parts, tending more scattered for the tropical north.
00:43Temperatures will be well below average in the inland parts underneath that cloud band,
00:49and slightly above average for the coastal areas. In Brisbane, a mostly sunny day and a
00:55top of 24 degrees. In New South Wales, some wet conditions underneath that cloud band,
01:02gradually contracting to the east, with some possible light showers elsewhere in the state.
01:08Temperatures will be within one to two degrees of average. In Sydney, some showers clearing with a top
01:14of 21 degrees, and in Canberra, showers easing at a top of 14. For Victoria, that cold front will bring
01:23showers to much of the state, tending more widespread in parts of the southwest and up into the northeast.
01:32Behind that cold front, a cool westerly change will bring across the state, with the chance of some
01:38snow through alpine areas. For Melbourne, cloudy conditions with showers increasing and a top of 15 degrees.
01:47In Tasmania, that cold front will bring showers up the west coast and along the northern coastline, with light
01:54showers possible elsewhere in the state. Temperatures will be in the low to mid-teens, and for Hobart, some
02:01showers increasing through the day, a top of 15 degrees. In South Australia, that cold front will be bringing
02:09some showers through southern parts of the state, tending more scattered through the coastal areas
02:15where thunderstorms are also possible. For Adelaide, a cloudy day with some possible showers, a top of 15
02:23degrees. In the west, a chilly start to the day for southern parts of WA, with patches of fog and
02:30frost, with
02:31some light drizzly showers along the south coast. Temperatures will be generally below average, and for Perth,
02:38a partly cloudy day, and a top of 18 degrees. For the north of the country, that unseasonal cloud
02:45band stretches from the top end down into the Barkley, with some fine and sunny conditions in the
02:51interior. For Darwin tomorrow, we do have a mostly sunny day, a top of 31 degrees, chance of a light
