00:00We're still in Beansports with the cover of this big World Cup
00:03and we've discovered from New York
00:05what will be the new technologies implemented throughout this month.
00:30We actually let you experience what we mean with the connected ball.
00:32Especially what we mean by saying we brought the ball to life.
00:37So we talked a lot about this thing here, right?
00:39The chip inside.
00:41This is, I think, speaking from a technical angle,
00:44this is how it looks like on the inside of the ball, right?
00:46So I think that's cool.
00:48We brought it to life.
00:49We made sure that this thing doesn't interfere with the ball experience
00:53from a player standpoint, from a flight behavior standpoint, all that.
00:56So we're doubling down on the validation to make sure
00:59the ball performs at the highest, highest level.
01:02Please come a bit closer and see what we mean
01:05when we say we give the ball a heartbeat.
01:07So if you can touch this in the slightest,
01:11you can actually see the output there.
01:14Whatever the ball does, there's a reaction.
01:16And that reaction is captured.
01:18So whatever instance, pass, shot, dribble on the pitch
01:21is being tracked live.
01:23That's pretty cool because obviously we're working with a team of engineers
01:26some of them, it's like NASA level of engineering and science.
01:30They apply in terms of counterbalancing
01:32and making sure the system works in a way that it doesn't affect the play,
01:36it doesn't affect the ball's flight or balancing.
01:39And yeah, again, that's, I think, from my side,
01:41what I'm most proud of.
01:49My name is Margarita, I'm the director of Athlete Performance for Adidas Innovation.
01:54And today I'm super excited to introduce you to the Clamaco system
01:58that we have created for the World Cup.
02:01So the Clamaco system consists of three different elements.
02:05So three different products.
02:07The first one is the cooling vest.
02:11The cooling vest is ice-change material.
02:14So it's a gel that once it's frozen,
02:18starts releasing cooling to the body.
02:21It needs to be worn directly on top of the jersey.
02:25It has a zipper at the center front to really allow players to put it on and off quite quickly.
02:31The second element of the Clamaco system is the insulation jacket that goes on top.
02:40So the purpose of the jacket is really to trap the cooling provided by the vest around the body of
02:46the athlete.
02:47Really almost like creating an air conditioning system around the player.
02:52Last but not least, the third element of our cooling Clamaco system is the cooling overshoe.
02:58It's a product that we have created to really target foot temperature.
03:03We learned last year from the Club World Cup
03:05that foot temperatures in our players were going up quite a bit,
03:10especially in those very hot and humid cities.
03:14The boots as a cooling technology inside can be used directly on top of the football boots,
03:21and it provides the cooling benefits without compromising the performance.
03:26Well, you have seen a ball with ultra-technology and shoes that lower the temperature very necessary,
03:32because the heat that we are experiencing these days in New York has been extreme,
03:35and it will continue to be during this whole month.
03:43this isn't easy for a band just, even with this kind of furnace.
03:43The big conteúdo
03:44it's a betterave colorAmerican
