00:05them or dropping bombs on their heads, as we just heard him saying at the G7 summit?
00:10Yeah, amazing rhetoric.
00:12I think that, first of all, I think he does not want to do that.
00:16I think he knows he needs an end to the fighting.
00:21And for a long time, even here on Al Arabiya, we have discussed in the past how clearly there's going
00:26to be, even back in early March, there was going to be a time soon when he would lose his
00:33desire to be in the fight.
00:35And he would basically kind of lose interest in the whole conflict and see that there's a need to get
00:41the U.S. out and then to end it.
00:44And I think, you know, we've seen that as the oil buffers that were in global markets, whether in storage,
00:50on land or at sea, they've been used up.
00:53And we're kind of getting to the cliff edge of when there are going to be real oil shortages in
00:58the global economy, which is putting pressure on President Trump to come to an agreement.
01:01So these are all reasons why I believe he doesn't want to restart the war.
01:04He doesn't want to, you know, drop bombs on their heads.
01:07But he doesn't really he hasn't figured out a way to conduct coercive diplomacy other than making these threats.
01:15And so I think it's highly unlikely he'll drop bombs on anyone's heads, unless unless Iran does the same.
01:22And maybe what's the last thing I'll say is maybe what's in President Trump's head is that he's having very
01:26difficult discussions with Prime Minister Netanyahu.
01:29As we know from the draft of the 14 points that Bloomberg got a got a copy of, one of
01:34the points is that there needs to be an end of the fighting in Lebanon as well.
01:39I think Prime Minister Netanyahu knows if he if he stops the Israeli military operations in southern Lebanon, that's political
01:46suicide for him.
01:47So maybe President Trump is frustrated and he's saying the Iranians better move quickly or we'll use military force.
01:53But I don't think he wants to use force.
