00:00There was a hot lake moment at the G7 where the Canadian Prime Minister was talking to you about their
00:04Chinese car cap, and he said you said you like it.
00:08Can you comment on that?
00:09I like what?
00:09The cap that Canada put on Chinese car imports. You were talking about it with Carney. What do you think
00:15of that?
00:16Well, I don't know that I said I like it, but I could understand that, yeah.
00:18Is that a fact?
00:19A cap? Would I rather see a cap than no cap? Yeah, I would. On Canada.
00:25Would the U.S. ever consider allowing Chinese cars?
00:27Well, we haven't. They pay over 100% tariff, so we don't have the problems that Europe has or Canada.
00:34How long do you hope USMCA negotiations or review go on?
00:38Well, it's not something that's, to me, I think it's better without it, I mean, to be honest with you.
00:43I'm not a big fan of it.
00:45I liked it because it got us out of NAFTA. In other words, after six years, you had to close
00:50it. It got us out of NAFTA.
00:52That's the thing I liked about it most. We do better without an agreement.
