00:08and then suddenly by the end of the evening it feels like New Year's Eve in there and you get
00:13this vibe in there you just think oh yeah that's amazing so my favourite gigs are actually just in
00:18places like that where you just get this spirit of community that's what I love that we've added
00:23you know a slow and steady build-up and we haven't been killed yet so I I see that as
00:30a success
00:33to be fair I am a fairly awkward person so members of Shamrock Keys are kind of kind of reflect
00:39the
00:39ages of my friend group anyway I've always been described as an old soul and I just get on with
00:45people older than me so the age difference isn't weird the repertoire that we have is
00:53it's endless you know the Irish music just goes on the real jigs ballpipes you can just go on and
00:58on
00:58with it you know these songs that they're playing they've been done by many artists it's more of a
01:03hobby it's more of a night owl it's great fun and it earns you a bit of beer money I
01:07think that's how
01:08we look at it but we haven't seen any money yet we absolutely love it right we do it for
01:16love right
01:17it's just the excitement you know my son had actually bought a new car my dad must have been
01:2483 and we thought let's go and show my dad his car so we drove over there he lived in
01:29the middle of
01:29nowhere we turned up and he was in his garage rehearsing with his mates like if you can imagine
01:35so you don't expect your dad and he hardly had any time for us because they've got the lads round
01:39and
01:39the beers out and they were learning songs and I remember driving away to Jamie and saying I'll tell you
01:44what that's just notice that because you know you've just been to see your granddad and actually he's
01:48got his mates and the beers out and he's playing music I said honestly you'll take that and I think
01:53I've I've taken it from a dad really which is this kind of love of music and also just playing
