00:00I really have a lot of love for the millennial generation, no shade to Gen Z, but we've been through
00:04so much.
00:06You know, we've been the guinea pigs of so much, so like our parasocial relationships to each other or to
00:12celebrities,
00:13it's kind of like, how can you blame us? And so I do feel like for me, you know, it's
00:18like we're trying to figure it out,
00:20and so I think that's a part of what I want to be able to do in my work as
00:25a talent in my generation or of my generation
00:28is to also be a part of breaking some of that down, of helping us to separate what we are
00:33considering real
00:34and what we are considering performance, or even authentic performance, because at the end of the day,
00:39who we are in our bedroom is not who we are when we go outside and talk to anybody.
00:43You don't have to be an entertainer to put on a little jazz. You know what I'm saying?
