If you’ve read the novels that "Off Campus" is based on, you know that this upcoming book-to-screen adaptation will be a sexually explicit Amazon Prime series. So, with that in mind, CinemaBlend asked the cast of this hockey romance about filming the more intimate scenes, and while “nobody’s thrilled” to be doing them, they told me how they fostered a safe and productive work environment to create these important, romantic and sexy moments in the show.

Now, much like other steamy shows like "Heated Rivalry" and Bridgerton, romance is a big part of "Off Campus." In Season 1, which will premiere on the 2026 TV schedule on May 13, we’ll see the leads, Hannah (Ella Bright) and Garrett (Belmont Cameli), make a deal to fake date so Hannah can woo her crush Justin (Josh Heuston) and Garrett can pass philosophy under the tutelage of Hannah. Obviously, things go further than that, and they enter into romance of their own, which, yes, gets spicy.

00:00i was curious what guidelines and practices were in place for you guys to make sure there was a
00:04level of trust on set that was needed especially when it came to filming like the orgasm deal part
00:09of the show yeah i mean we had such amazing conversations with everybody involved we're so
00:15close and our show run is so incredible and we had amazing intimacy coordinators that you know
00:19there's nothing inherently sexy at all about filming a sex scene so everything's very choreographed and
00:24it couldn't have been a more comfortable environment for us to and also it's so
00:28character driven all of these are very emotional scenes of the characters in many ways so it just
00:33felt very important to the story that we were telling yeah it's a it's a team effort nobody's
00:38thrilled to be there you know it's like yeah everybody's on the same team um and yeah i mean
00:45they ended up you know like those days were treated with just as much care as everything else um and
00:50even more so so yeah yeah i think every well every single scene we had a intimacy coordinator and
00:55um for a lot of mine we we had rehearsals for it and blocking and so by the end of
01:01it it's just like
01:01a dance essentially but everyone i like the my main thing is like everyone just needs to feel safe
01:06in those sort of scenes and i think everyone felt pretty good in all of them and yeah i think
01:11you can
01:11see that in the final product as well yeah and we're also we were so close uh you know we
01:17became
01:17really good friends and so i think we all trust each other and we're super comfortable with each other
01:21like as friends and so that i think that makes stuff like that a lot easier yeah 100 percent
01:26you
