00:00One's an art, one's a science, so the guys that are really good at the analytical training
00:06never figure out how to shut that off and that's the opposite of what you need for
00:10max performance. So the guys that make it have max performance are optimized for that
00:15and teams don't care if they're there for the long haul or not, they call them up for the moment.
00:19Some of them happen to stick and then those guys stick around and like have no idea really what
00:23they're doing. They know how to play the game, they're like super good on the intuitive side.
00:27Like if you ask him like, what's this guy going to throw you? Oh, he's going to throw me X,
00:31Y, Z.
00:32He has no idea what the numbers say. He can just feel it. They didn't get there by like studying
00:37and
00:39perfecting and training, like all that stuff. It's like they were talented and they just went and
00:42played the game. They happened to have a hitting coach or a pitching coach that could tell them
00:48the right cue or they interpreted it the right way and like they stuck. There's so few guys anymore
00:55that aren't just like the best athlete. Pitching is a little bit different. Even you look at the
01:01pitchers that make it now, like they all have some like pretty elite athletic characteristics,
01:08the majority. I mean, outside of like 10, 20 percent.
01:10Get back to that.
01:10You're welcome.
