THE BANKS’ BIGGEST SECRET EXPOSED. Most retail traders lose money because they trade on emotion. Banks and Hedge Funds don't. They use Quantitative Trading—mathematical models and statistical arbitrage to extract pips from the market with surgical precision. In this video, I break down the EXACT quant model that gives institutional traders a statistical edge over the 95% of retail traders who blow their accounts. This isn't a lagging indicator; this is forward-looking probability math. Quantitative trading (or "quant trading") is an investment approach that relies on mathematical models, statistical analysis, and computer algorithms to identify and execute trading opportunities. Instead of relying on human intuition or qualitative company research, quants use massive datasets and automated systems to make logical, data-driven decisions.

📉 WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

1. The specific statistical anomaly quant models look for in FX pairs (Mean Reversion vs. Momentum).
2. Why "Retail Sentiment" is actually a quant signal (and how to fade it correctly).
3. The "code" that powers this specific strategy.
4. The #1 money management mistake quants make when applying their models to Forex (and how to avoid it).

00:01In this video, I'm going to be trading Forex currency pairs using the trade command quant
00:09engine, trading engine, a trade engine that I've coded, programmed, and developed to help
00:16me make trades in the Forex markets.
00:22Gus Schmidt here, and I'm back with another trading video.
00:25Well, today, what you see here is the user interface of the trade command quant engine here, and
00:34it provides me signal alerts on various trade recommendations.
00:41The quant engine analyzes cryptos, including Bitcoin and Ethereum, as well as major and
00:51minor currency pairs here.
00:53If you look at the left side of the dashboard here, all the various major and minor currency
00:59pairs.
01:00And in addition to that, it also analyzes metals.
01:04For instance, silver here, XAG, gold, XAU, XPD, which is palladium, and XPT, which is platinum.
01:15Okay, so I've coded a trading logic into the engine here.
01:21If we scroll all the way to the bottom of the dashboard here, this is the core logic that
01:31went into the trade command quant engine here, utilizing various indicators, ADX, RSI, Bollinger
01:40bands, EMA, and trend exhaustion.
01:44Okay, so what I'm going to do is I'm going to, in order to operate the engine, what we're
01:53going to do is rerun the software here.
02:01And then I'm going to turn on the audio alert.
02:05So to help us get signal alerts here, a previous alert which occurred here was on Ethereum.
02:15There's an Eastern Standard Time frame here.
02:21This signal occurred at 9.50 AM Eastern Standard Time, which was a few minutes ago.
02:29And what we're going to do here is wait for currency pairs.
02:34It'll give us Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the metals, but Pocket Option currently has only currency
02:44pairs available to trade at this time.
02:49So let's run the trade engine again.
02:55In the middle here, what you see is the live execution log.
03:01We have real price feeds.
03:04This bot does not trade OTCs or synthetics.
03:11It trades live real-time prices on the currency, Bitcoin, and metals assets here.
03:22Okay, for instance, here, if you see here, it's giving us a 15-minute long trade on Palladium.
03:28But as I mentioned before, Palladium is not an asset that is available to trade on the Pocket
03:35Option platform here.
03:36I have my trading platform open up here.
03:43And what we see here at the top of the charts are the various currency assets that I've put up.
03:52So what I'm going to do is I'm going to pause the video.
03:56And when I get a currency asset signal, I'm going to come back and show the signal and take the
04:05trade.
04:06Okay.
04:09Okay.
04:10So I just received the signal from the Quant Engine here, Euro, Aussie, Dollar, short, five-minute short.
04:22Right here.
04:24All right.
04:24So I'm going to go to my trading platform and check Euro, Aussie, Dollar here.
04:35It's telling me to take a five-minute short.
04:39So, all right.
04:41I just took a sell trade or a put trade, which is also a short on the Euro, Aussie, Dollar
04:47here.
04:48If we notice here, this is the 200 simple moving average.
04:52It's sloping downward.
04:54And then we have the Vortex lines, the minus VI line, showing a divergence from the plus VI line on
05:04the Vortex indicator.
05:07So all of these confluences, we have the signal here, the Euro, Aussie, Dollar signal, as well as our indicators
05:17all suggesting a continued bearish push to the downside in the price of the Euro, Aussie, Dollar.
05:25So what I'm going to do is I'm going to wait until about 30 seconds left in the trade, come
05:30back and see the results of this trade.
05:35Okay, so I'm back on the Euro, Aussie, Dollar with about 30 seconds left in the trade.
05:41So let's wait for the expiration of this trade.
06:01Okay, so that trade was in the money.
06:03Okay, so I'm on the Aussie, Dollar, JPY, and I just took a five-minute buy trade or five-minute
06:11call trade.
06:12And the reason I took the call trade is here.
06:16If you notice, the signal engine just generated a Aussie, Dollar, JPY, long trade here on the five-minute time
06:26frame.
06:27So I went ahead and took the trade.
06:31So let's monitor this trade and wait for about 30 seconds left in the trade and see the results of
06:39the trade.
06:42Okay, so I'm back on the Aussie, Dollar, JPY, and this trade is about to expire in a few seconds.
06:51So let's wait for the expiration of this trade.
07:10Okay, so that trade was in the money.
07:12All right, so what I'm going to do is I'm going to pause the video, reset the quant engine, and
07:18see if it generates a trade for us currently at this time.
07:24Okay, so I'm on the Great British Pound, Japanese yen, currency pair, and I just took a buy trade here.
07:31And the reason I took the buy trade is if we go to our trade command quant engine here, it
07:38just generated a five-minute long trade here.
07:44It's 1051 Eastern Standard Time, and I went ahead and took the trade here.
07:53We're seeing a general bullish trend in the price of the currency pair.
07:58So what I'm going to do is I'm going to pause the video until about 30 seconds left in the
08:02trade, come back and check the results of the trade.
08:10Okay, so I'm back on the Great British Pound, Japanese yen trade, which is about to expire.
08:18So in about 15 seconds here.
08:22So let's wait for the expiry.
08:35Okay, great.
08:36So that trade was in the money.
08:39All right, so I'm going to pause the video and wait for the next signal from the Trade Command Quant
08:45engine.
08:49Okay, so I'm on the Euro JPY currency pair, and I just took a buy trade here.
08:56And the reason I took the buy trade, of course, is because I just received a signal, a five-minute
09:05long, on the Euro JPY.
09:09If we notice here, the price is currently in a bullish trend, which confirms the signal here.
09:22So what I'm going to do is I'm going to pause the video and wait until about 30 seconds left
09:27in the trade, come back and check the results.
09:32Okay, so we're about to see the results of the Euro JPY trade here that the Trade Command Quant engine
09:41recommended in the signals bot.
09:46We just have a few seconds left in the trade.
09:58Okay, great.
10:00So that trade was also in the money.
10:02Just go back here.
10:04This was the signal that the Quant engine generated.
10:08All right, so I'm going to pause the video and wait for our next signal.
10:14So I'm on the Euro JPY, and I just took a buy trade, a 15-minute buy trade here.
10:22So I set my timer.
10:23Before taking the trade, I set my timer to 15 minutes, selected the currency asset here, Euro JPY, took the
10:32buy trade.
10:33And the reason why I took the buy trade is I just received a 15-minute buy long signal here
10:41on the Euro JPY.
10:43So what I'm going to do is I'm going to pause the video and wait until the end of the
10:4815-minute expiry with about 30 seconds left and see what the results of the trade are.
10:56Okay, so we have about a few seconds left in the Euro JPY long trade that I took with the
11:02Quant engine signal.
11:03So let's wait for the expiry of this trade.
11:09We have about 14 seconds left in the trade.
11:25Okay, so that trade, it was in the money.
11:28So if you like the video, please give it a thumbs up.
11:31Subscribe to my channel to keep up to date with my latest trading strategies.
11:35I have a link to the trading platform in the video comments or the video description or the channel bio.
11:43If you're interested in getting some more information about the Trade Command Quant engine, I'll have all the information in
11:52the video description.
11:54And I also wanted to take note that I've been only risking 1%, about 1% of my capital.
12:02With binary options, you need to have about a 70% win rate because most of the assets don't return
12:13100%.
12:14You can have an asset that returns 90%.
12:17Another asset may return about 60% or so, 58%.
12:22The whole idea is we want to grow our account slowly but surely.
12:27If you win a trade, you'll get the percentage that the asset is paying out.
12:32But if you lose, you lose the whole amount.
12:34So on average, the rates of return on these assets are around 75, I would say about 70% to
12:4075%.
12:42So you need to show a win rate, like I said, of about 70% as well.
12:48All right.
12:49Thank you for watching, and I'll see you in the next video.
12:51Trade Command Quant Engine, Gus Schmidt.
