00:09at helping Filipinos affected by recent disasters, expanding access to education and health care, and strengthening social protection programs.
00:17Under Proclamation No. 1318, Marcos said immediate legislative action is needed as families continue to recover from the recent Mindanao
00:27earthquake and vulnerable sectors require government support.
00:31Among the priority measures are bills on assistance for individuals in crisis situations, health care for senior citizens, education subsidies,
00:40school feeding programs, and support for students in remote areas.
00:44The proposed anti-political dynasty law is also included in the agenda.
00:49The special session will likewise allow the Commission on Appointments to act on pending appointments in the Cabinet, Military, and
00:57Foreign Service to ensure continuity in government operations.
