B-21 pilot footage from Edwards AFB is the tell: the bomber stack is getting automated, and the B-2 world is next. Bomber ops are not heroics — they’re route planning, sensor calls, threat calls, and a lot of decision-making software can already chew through. Edwards AFB showed a human pilot in the B-21, but the real product is the decision stack, not the seat. Once software owns more of that stack, the pilot becomes supervision, then paperwork.
