00:00She's got me, yeah.
00:02You know me better than I know myself.
00:08I'm HeroFans Tiffin.
00:09I'm Simone Ashley.
00:10We are part of the cast from Picture This.
00:13And we're here to play How Well Do You Know Your Co-Star with Marie Claire.
00:17What was my first job?
00:19A. Froyo shop.
00:20B. Shampoo girl at a hair salon.
00:23C. Dog walker.
00:24I feel like I should know this.
00:26Have you said this before?
00:28B. Not in the specificity, no.
00:30B. Want to go dog walker?
00:32B. No.
00:33B. How is it?
00:33B. I was, my first ever job was when I was 15, I think.
00:37I was a shampoo girl at a hair salon.
00:39B. Okay.
00:39B. And then I upgraded to Froyo shop.
00:42B. So the only one that you haven't done is what I guessed.
00:45B. Yeah, I don't get paid to do that.
00:47I just do it.
00:47B. Which football team do I support?
00:51B. Do you even need me to read them out?
00:53B. It's West Ham, right?
00:54B. Yeah, well.
00:55B. Starting easy.
00:56B. Okay.
00:56B. And what's my astrological sign?
00:59B. You are an Aries.
01:01B. Yeah.
01:02B. What was my dog called?
01:04B. Oh.
01:05B. Do you need the options?
01:08B. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:08B. Was it A, Diesel?
01:10B. Yeah.
01:12B. It was Diesel.
01:13B. Still is Diesel.
01:14B. The other options are Spot and Alfie, which are just such great typical dog names.
01:19B. Diesel strong.
01:20B. Diesel.
01:20B. Yeah.
01:21B. What's my favourite song to sing during karaoke?
01:22B. Your favourite song to sing during karaoke is Eminem Without Me.
01:28B. Yeah, well done.
01:29B. You learn a lot about each other on the press talk.
01:31B. Yeah.
01:32B. What is my favourite cuisine?
01:34B. Give me some options.
01:36B. Is it A. Thai food, B. Japanese food, or C. British food?
01:42B. Do you love British food?
01:44B. I do love British food.
01:47B. But it's not your favourite.
01:48B. You did very well to ask that question.
01:50B. So, you love Thai food, sometimes, but your favourite is Japanese food.
01:57B. Are you locking in the answer?
01:58B. I'm locking in Japanese food.
02:00B. That is incorrect, unfortunately.
02:03B. It's Thai food.
02:04B. Oh, okay.
02:05B. I do love Japanese food as well, though.
02:07B. What's your order?
02:08B. Um, yeah, red curry, probably.
02:10B. But I went to Thailand, and, like, it is just different.
02:13B. I feel like over here, I'm yet to find a Thai place, I say over here, or a Thai
02:16place
02:16outside of Thailand that has, like, as much spice as they do, like, in Thailand.
02:22B. I remember getting, like, a seafood salad, and them saying, like, do you want it as spicy
02:27as, like, we do it, and I was like, yeah, go on, and it blew my head off.
02:31B. But you have this sense that after it dies down, you have this sense of, like...
02:35B. Euphoria.
02:36B. Yeah, like, it affects you.
02:38Like, I felt so invigorated.
02:41Anyway, yeah, love Thai food.
02:42B. What kind of dog do I have?
02:44Bonus points, you can guess his or her name.
02:46Is it A. A French bulldog, B. A cocker spaniel, C. A German shepherd?
02:51B. It is a cocker spaniel called Myla.
02:54B. Called Myla.
02:55B. Yes.
02:55B. I'm glad there were the other options.
02:57B. I love Myla.
02:58B. What was my first ever job?
03:00B. An actor, a shop assistant, or a gardener?
03:06B. An actor.
03:07B. You were a child.
03:09B. It's like...
03:09B. Ooh.
03:10B. You were so young.
03:12B. She's got me, yeah?
03:13B. Because I've written down gardener, because I did landscape gardening.
03:18B. How old were you?
03:18B. But you're right, it was after I'd done some acting.
03:21B. So, in my mind, it was the first...
03:23B. But, yeah, you're so right, you're bang on.
03:25B. You know me better than I know myself.
03:26B. I said child in a patronising way, but you were a child.
03:29B. You were a working child.
03:31B. Sorry.
03:32B. Okay, what's one of my hidden talents?
03:36B. Riding a unicycle, reading tarot cards, voice impressions.
03:41B. I'm going to go for voice impressions.
03:43B. It is, is it?
03:44B. Mm-hmm.
03:44B. Nice.
03:45B. Can you ride a unicycle?
03:47B. Absolutely not.
03:48B. Have you ever tried?
03:49B. No.
03:50B. I've tried pediboarding before, and it's kind of, you know, centre of gravity.
03:53B. No.
03:54B. Yeah.
03:54B. I'd quite like to give it a go.
03:55B. I mean, it looks so difficult, I don't think I'd be any good, but...
03:58B. I'd like to give it a go.
03:59B. I can do quite a few.
04:00B. I'm not going to do them now, because there is way too much content out there of me
04:04doing these impressions that we don't need to do anymore.
04:07B. Who would it be, though?
04:08B. You should go to...
04:09B. Kermit the Frog, Stitch, Cartman from South Park.
04:12B. Oh, you like your cartoons?
04:14B. Cartoons, yeah.
04:16B. She's going to voiceover.
04:17What was my first ever red carpet premiere for?
04:21Was it A. A film called Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince?
04:25B. A film called Bigger Than Ben?
04:28B. Or C. A film called Private Peaceful?
04:30B. Did you go to the Harry Potter premiere?
04:32B. I did.
04:33B. I have a feeling you did something before Harry Potter, though.
04:36B. I went to the Harry Potter premiere and I had that Justin Bieber flicky hair and one
04:40of them tops from Primark that everyone had, or Topman, sorry, that have the free buttons
04:45that everyone was wearing at the time.
04:46B. And skinny jeans and plimpsos did not age very well, but at the time, it was shining.
04:52B. Yeah.
04:53B. I don't know why I'm drawn to Bigger Than Ben.
04:54B. I don't even know what it is.
04:56B. Is Bigger Than Ben?
04:58B. Would you like to lock in that answer?
04:59B. Yeah.
05:01B. Well done.
05:01B. It is, in fact, Bigger Than Ben.
05:03B. Tell us.
05:03B. My dad's friend was making a movie and they needed a character to play someone's
05:09younger brother.
05:10B. The film was kind of like a modern day retelling, something similar to Oliver Twist.
05:14B. The scene I did was literally like two hours where I go to a shop and get the shopkeeper
05:19to turn around and steal a bunch of chocolate bars.
05:21B. And then my older brother catches me and he's like a very good pickpocket and he doesn't
05:25want me to follow in his footsteps.
05:26B. So the shop was basically just me being, him like shaking me, holding me by my ankle,
05:31shaking me upside down, I'm upside down eating a chocolate bar and all the chocolates falling
05:34out of my pockets.
05:35B. Oh, cool.
05:36B. And then I got paid £100 cash in hand.
05:37B. I went straight to Lilywhites and bought a full West Ham kit and I was like, this acting
05:41stuff is not bad.
05:42B. Yeah, yeah.
05:43B. Well played.
05:44B. Well played.
05:45B. Well done.
05:45B. Well, we didn't have much time really, all of us as a cast.
05:49B. We kind of were like, we had a few days of rehearsals and then we were straight in
05:52it.
05:52B. And I think we were just so lucky to have such a collaborative, talented, amazing cast
05:58of people.
05:59B. And for us, I think we were so lucky with our characters, how contrasting they were.
06:04B. There was so much to play with.
06:06B. And we kind of just trusted each other from the get go.
06:08B. Yeah, I think we, all of us are from similar neck of the woods as well.
06:13B. And I think testament to Simone being, you know, producing as well as starring in it,
06:18building that group of people and having that, you know, creating that atmosphere on set
06:22of being able to work hard, but also just have fun while we're doing it.
06:26B. So between takes and like the schedule, sometimes you feel like everything's so back
06:29to back.
06:30B. Just feel like on this was quite relaxed.
06:31B. We all cared about the work and wanted it to be as good as it could, but we just,
06:35we just had so much fun while doing it.
06:37B. Everyone got friendship bracelets at the end.
06:39B. That was our version of the group chat.
06:40B. That was very sweet.
06:42Simone made us little friendship bracelets with our name on.
06:44B. Thank you for watching.
06:45B. Picture This is out now on Prime Video.
