Country singer Tyler Farr was hospitalized on Saturday, June 13, 2026, following a motor vehicle incident on his farm. According to an announcement from the Goshen Stampede festival in Goshen, Connecticut, Farr was diagnosed with a severe concussion and forced to cancel his scheduled performance hours before showtime.

Farr, 42, is best known for his number one hit "A Guy Walks Into a Bar" and platinum singles "Redneck Crazy" and "Whiskey in My Water." The Missouri native rose to fame in 2012 and has released two studio albums: Redneck Crazy (2013) and Suffer in Peace (2015), which debuted in the Top 5 on the Billboard 200. He is also a classically trained opera singer.

The Goshen Stampede announced the news on Instagram, writing: "Due to a motor vehicle incident on his farm, Tyler Farr was taken to a local hospital and diagnosed with a severe concussion. Tyler Farr will no longer be able to perform at the Goshen Stampede on June 13, 2026. We wish Tyler a speedy recovery."

David Foster and the All Stars stepped in to replace Farr. The festival continued with rodeos, truck pulls, monster trucks, and carnival rides.

Farr recently released a new EP titled "Quit Bein' Country" via Droptine Recordings. The six-song collection includes themes of faith, family, small-town life, and hard work.
