The installation of 10,000 closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras across Kuala Lumpur since 2020 has significantly enhanced police investigations and operational efficiency, says Tan Sri Mohd Khalid Ismail.

The Inspector-General of Police said the extensive CCTV network has proven to be an effective tool in supporting law enforcement efforts, particularly as the police force continues to leverage technology to improve public safety.
