A case initially suspected as an unnatural death has taken a major twist following an investigation by Whitefield Police. The victim, 53-year-old Basha, was found dead in an under-construction building. Locals alerted police upon discovering the body. During the investigation, it emerged that a co-worker named Sundar was responsible for the murder. Both Basha and Sundar worked at the same place. On the night of the incident, Basha was allegedly attacked by Sundar while intoxicated, causing him to collapse and die on the spot. Sundar then moved the body to a nearby under-construction building and fled. He remained missing since the day of Basha's death. When Sundar was later taken into custody and questioned, he confessed to the murder. Police had initially registered the case under Section 174C before the true nature of the crime was uncovered.
