Transcript
00:00From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!
00:04So here we're having a picket at Bisselloy Steels.
00:06Bisselloy Steels is one of the only manufacturers in Australia
00:09that produces the tempered steel that goes into Israeli armoured vehicles
00:13that are participating in a genocide right now.
00:15So we're stopping business because we don't think Australian businesses
00:18or manufacturers should be contributing to a genocide and war crimes.
00:22We just want the community to know that we don't believe that
00:25any products, labour or materials from the Illawarra
00:27should be participating in a genocide.
00:28There is a business here in Illawarra that is actively contributing to that.
00:32We don't think that that's correct, we don't think that's right
00:34and government should be stepping in to not allow that to happen.
00:37The protest started yesterday, Sunday at 8pm
00:40and we're hoping to run it for 72 hours.
00:43We've had a bit of a ruckus now with police
00:45but we're hoping for 72 hours until Wednesday.
00:58And we're hoping for a couple of people to ask you some more.
00:59We've got the public loan car...
00:59We've got this weird way...
00:59...and I'm going to start looking at it.
