00:00It's a big few hours coming up where you are. What do you see now?
00:03Exactly, John. So just to give you a sense of the anticipation here at the NASDAQ,
00:08we've already seen some key SpaceX figures arrive. I just spotted President Gwynne Shotwell
00:13downstairs sharing some laughs with CFO Brent Johnson as they chatted with other folks here
00:20at the NASDAQ. Elon Musk's mother, May Musk, also just walked in ahead of them. So the anticipation
00:26is building here ahead of the first trade. We have heard from the NASDAQ in the last hour that
00:32SpaceX will be eligible for trading at 10 a.m. Eastern, but we probably won't see the first
00:38trade until hours from then as underwriters will still be working to match buy and sell orders in
00:45that price discovery process. And one of the biggest questions this morning is how much demand
00:50is still sitting on the sidelines. As we reported, the deal was more than four times oversubscribed.
00:57Retail investors alone are said to have placed more than $100 billion worth of orders, but only
01:03a fraction of those requests will actually be filled, which means there could be a large pool
01:08of investors looking to buy shares once trading begins later today.
