00:17A new video released by Iran shows back-to-back explosions ripping along the coastline of one
00:25small Harg Island, and the message attached to it is brutal in its simplicity.
00:33If U.S. troops set foot on Iranian land, they will not find oil, they will find body bags.
00:41The video is being described as a bloody simulation, explosion after explosion along the shoreline,
00:48a visual warning of what Iran says will happen to American forces if they ever try to land
00:55on this island.
00:56And the island in question is not just any island, it is Harg.
01:03Harg Island sits in the northern Gulf, just a short distance off Iran's coast, and before
01:09this war started, it handled an enormous share of Iran's entire oil export operation.
01:16Massive tankers, too large to dock anywhere else on Iran's coastline, would come straight
01:21to Harg to load up.
01:22In short, Harg is Iran's oil crown jewel, and Trump has had his eye on it for a while.
01:31U.S. forces already struck Harg earlier this year.
01:35Trump claimed the military targets there were, in his words, totally obliterated, and he openly
01:41floated the idea of going further, targeting the oil infrastructure itself, and even sending
01:47in ground forces to seize the island outright.
01:51Just this week, Trump doubled down again.
01:54Speaking on Fox News, he said his preference has always been to take Harg Island, but then
02:01he added something telling.
02:03He said, quote, I don't know that America has the stomach for it.
02:08That single sentence says a lot, because behind closed doors, reports now suggest the U.S.
02:16military command is genuinely frightened of what an invasion of Harg could actually look
02:21like.
02:22According to defense analysts, while American troops could likely seize the island fairly
02:28quickly, it would not lead to any quick or decisive end to this war.
02:33If anything, experts warn it could expand and extend the conflict, not shorten it.
02:39And here's the part that should worry Washington the most.
02:43Analysts say U.S. troops on Harg would be sitting targets, exposed to missile attacks, exposed to
02:51drone attacks, including the same kind of cheap, camera-mounted, first-person view drones that have
02:57already been used by the millions in Ukraine.
03:01And then comes the chilling part.
03:03Experts say that the moment any of those strikes succeed, Iran would be expected to release videos
03:10of those attacks online, using the graphic deaths of American service members as propaganda.
03:17Sound familiar?
03:18Because that is exactly what this new video already feels like.
03:23Iran is not waiting for an invasion to start the propaganda war.
03:28It has already begun.
03:30Even a former U.S. central command chief weighed in.
03:33Iran.
03:34He said it would only take around 800 to 1,000 troops to physically hold Harg Island.
03:40But those troops would need constant logistical support.
03:44And that support would need protection too.
03:47His blunt assessment?
03:49The troops would be very vulnerable.
03:52And taking the island would not give the U.S. any real tactical advantage.
03:56He called the entire idea odd.
04:01So here's where things stand tonight.
04:03Trump wants Harg.
04:05His own analysts are warning it could be a trap.
04:08And Iran, rather than waiting to find out, has already put out the footage of what it wants the
04:14world to imagine happening to American soldiers if they try.
04:18A bloody simulation.
04:21A direct warning to Trump by name.
04:23And a message that could not be clearer.
04:26Iran is telling the United States, come and take our oil island if you dare.
04:32But don't expect to leave with oil.
04:35Expect to leave in body bags, if you leave at all.
