00:19The only problem? Scheduling! On Watch What Happens Live, J.Lo explained to the Bravo boss
00:25Andy Cohen that she was filming the movie Shall We Dance at the time. Producers allowed
00:30her time off on the weekend to go meet with Madonna and rehearse the number, but ultimately
00:35they wouldn't let her out of the movie to do the actual show. The office romance actors
00:39also claimed that she was supposed to start the performance, not Britney. Damn, the course
00:45of pop culture history changed forever. The finished product saw Brit, Madge, and Xtina
00:50take the stage in wedding-themed attire, performing Like a Virgin and Hollywood, culminating in a
00:56three-way kiss that left audiences breathless.

01:23post back in 2023, when Lopez previously made this same claim. She told E! News,
01:30I was filming a movie in Canada, and we had met, me, her, and Britney, to do it, at her
01:35home. And I just couldn't get off the film, so they got Christina to do it. Well, Aguilera
01:40also got sloppy seconds during the performance. Madonna kissed Britney first, then turned to
01:46the genie-in-a-bottle belter, but the cameras cut away, and newspapers focused only on Madonna
01:51and Britney. In 2018, Xtina opened up to Andy Cohen on SiriusXM about getting snubbed
01:57from this historic moment. Did it bug you that they cut away for the Xtina kiss? It was
02:04weird. And you know why they cut away for it? Because of a, you know, they cut away to
02:10get Justin's reaction. I definitely saw, like, the newspaper the next day, and it was like,
02:15oh, well, I guess I got left out of that one. Right! Did that bug you at all, or you

02:20like... I mean, everything happened so quickly back then, and everything was in a whirlwind.

02:33performance. Right. So, I was okay with that. For the record, in our eyes, Christina Aguilera
