00:15struck Iranian air defense, ground control stations, and surveillance radar sites near
00:20the Strait of Hormuz with precision munitions from U.S. Air Force and Navy fighter jets.
00:26They said the operation was a proportional response to recent attacks on U.S. forces
00:31and international commercial ships transiting regional waters. They had earlier said they
00:37began launching the retaliatory attack at 5 p.m. Eastern time after the helicopter was shot down
00:43by Iranian forces while patrolling in the Strait on Monday. U.S. President Donald Trump said the
00:49two pilots on board the helicopter were safe.
00:53The pilots are fine, yeah. Nobody injured. We are going to issue a report tomorrow, but
01:01the pilots are fine, yeah. We have ongoing negotiations in Iran and with Iran that hasn't stopped.

01:40He said to reduce such risks. The best solution is for them to leave, and he added that Iran prefers
01:47the language of diplomacy. He said despite its defeat on the battlefield, the U.S. opted to test
01:54Iran's determination. He said Iranian forces will leave no attack or threat unanswered.
01:59The incident came after Israel struck targets in Iran for the first time since a ceasefire in April,
02:05where Iran fired missiles at Israel in what Tehran said was retaliation for Israeli strikes on Beirut.
02:12Israel and Iran both called a halt to the exchange on Monday after Trump told them to stop the hostility.
