00:00Did he say that with Josh around or no?
00:01He did not.
00:02Ooh, Josh is going to be jealous.
00:04He's been a great teammate.
00:06He's been a very great teammate.
00:07But most importantly, the person he is is fantastic.
00:13Like, he's a person who's willing to do whatever to kind of help out,
00:18whether he knows you well or not.
00:19That's just who his character is.
00:20That's just who he is.
00:23And that translates on the court.
00:24And I didn't really know him as well as I did back then.
00:30But getting to know him now, it's an unfair narrative of him.
00:37But I truly love it.
00:39I love that dude and everything he's done for his team, his city,
00:43and as a friend.
00:45He's been fantastic.
00:47And I think, you know, our friendship is built off respect.
00:50You know, we've had so much respect for each other as opponents.
00:54And now to be teammates, you know, spending, you know,
00:59true time with each other as teammates, you know.
01:01And I've always said, you know,
01:03we spend more time with each other than our families, our kids.
01:05So to see who we truly are on a day-to-day basis
01:10and how we truly, you know, treat people.
01:13The things that the media says, is it true, is it not?
01:17And you're getting to see firsthand what the truth really is.
01:20You know, I'm glad I've been able to not only earn his respect
01:25even more as a basketball player, but as a man.
01:28And for him to appreciate the advice I give him in a daily, you know,
01:32in daily life and things I see, it means a lot.
01:37And if you see or not, you know.
01:37You're right.
