00:10Well, I was really excited to tell a story about human relationships.
00:17And especially coming out of the pandemic,
00:21we are, it seems like we're still very disconnected.
00:25And there's a lot, there's a epidemic of loneliness right now.
00:29So I felt like it was something that I really wanted to explore
00:34and hopefully people can relate to.
00:37The time that we spent together when we were young is very precious to both of us
00:41and is like one of the core personal and professional relationships in my life.
00:47And so we had talked about it over the years,
00:49but then I don't think you're giving yourself enough credit
00:51because then she creates this beautiful space for the two of us
00:54to be able to come back and work together and tell a beautiful story,
01:00a hopeful story, a real human story.
01:03And for me, I was both flattered and very excited to have the opportunity
01:08to come back and share this space with you after all of these years
01:12and have a story that is ours to tell, right?
01:15You wrote this for us, you did the whole thing.
01:18So it was magical for me to be able to come back.
01:21And you waited for me, which I appreciated.
01:23Oh, yeah.
01:27I called.
01:30And I gently, because our working relationship is very sacred to me.
01:38And I take it very seriously, and I want to do right by Josh.
01:44And I have a great deal of respect.
01:47And so I wanted it to be right.
01:50And we've often talked about doing something again, but we never knew what.
01:59So it was really about that and agreeing to go for it, I suppose.
02:06And he said yes, and that made me feel very good.
02:09Well, I think to the point of the city of New York, the boroughs of New York, I guess,
02:16playing a character in the movie, so to be at New York's movie festival,
02:20right, to be at Tribeca, specifically on a big anniversary year, it just feels right.
02:26And after a Knicks win.
02:27And after a Knicks win, yeah.
02:29The city is alive right now.
02:30Yes.
02:31We love to see it.
02:32It's popping.
02:32Yeah.
02:34I mean, I think we both love New York.
02:37And it is a bit of a love letter to New York.
02:41Because what I love about New York is the fact that we're living our lives in front of
02:46strangers all the time.
02:48And there's something about that.
02:52And how we're always confronted with other people's problems, making ours have perspective.
03:02But I also just, I love New York for the fact that when you're walking down the street,
03:06you're hearing a couple break up.
03:07Everything's happening.
03:08And then you're hearing a couple make, you know.
03:10Makeup.
03:11Makeup.
03:11Makeup.
03:13And life is always happening.
03:15So capturing that visually is just exciting.
03:19We're going to get one step down.
03:24Together.
03:25One step down.
03:35Both of you are more added.
03:36And a little to the right.
03:41One more to the right of it.
03:42One more to the right.
03:42And then another.
03:44One more to the right.
03:55And then another.
03:56Take a second.
03:59Um, so.
04:02No.
04:07I'm right here.
