00:00From two massive IPOs to another, Elon Musk is bringing his pioneering business style to the IPO world this week
00:07when his rocket and satellite maker SpaceX goes public in ways that no other company has.
00:13SpaceX is targeting a roughly US$1.8 trillion valuation and the price of $135 per share is not up
00:23for discussion.
00:26CFRA senior analyst Keith Snyder said the scale of the offering, combined with Musk's profile and SpaceX's exposure to rockets,
00:34satellites and artificial intelligence, was likely to fuel strong demand.
00:40$75 billion is probably the biggest IPO of all time.
00:45And then the valuation, $1.75 trillion, is no small number to laugh at.
00:51But it's just such a unique business and anything tied to Elon Musk obviously gets a ton of fanfare.
00:59And so if you combine it being the biggest, a wild valuation and Elon Musk and, you know, rockets and
01:08AI and satellites, like, I mean, what's not to like about it?
01:13And so obviously there's a lot of hype around this IPO.
01:18Snyder said Starlink, SpaceX's satellite internet business, is currently the company's key profit driver,
01:25while artificial intelligence represents its next major growth opportunity.
01:33This is the hot IPO.
01:35This is the biggest ever.
01:37There is interest beyond those who are Tesla investors just because it is what it is.
01:43It is the first almost pure play AI company that we have the ability to invest in.
01:49Anthropic and OpenAI still have not have filed for IPOs, but we still haven't seen their S1s.
01:54They still don't have a timeline around that.
01:56And so this is the best opportunity you've ever gotten to get directly in on AI growth.
02:03Still, he warned investors should weigh risks, including SpaceX's capital needs and Musk's control over the company's voting power.
02:11SpaceX is expected to price on June 11th and trade on Nasdaq the next day.
