Synopsis: During a train ride from Seville to Madrid, the middle-aged gentleman Mathieu tells his fellow passengers the story of his romantic misfortunes with the dancer Conchita. From their first encounter in Paris, Conchita toys with Mathieu’s obsession, leading him from desire to frustration and from love to the most furious hatred.
