ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಸಕರಾದವರಿಗೆ ಮಂತ್ರಿ ಆಗುವುದೇ ಒಂದು ಜನ್ಮದ ಸಾರ್ಥಕತೆ ಅಂತ ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಕಾಲ ಇದು. ನೂರಾರು ಜನ ಶಾಸಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇವಲ 34 ಜನರಿಗಷ್ಟೇ ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಸಿಗಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ. ಹೀಗಿರುವಾಗ, ತಮಗೆ ಸಚಿವ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂತ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಹಿರಿಯ ಮತ್ತು ಯುವ ಶಾಸಕರು ಅಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಉಗುಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ,
ಇವತ್ತು ಇಡೀ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಜನಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಡುತ್ತಿರೋ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಒಂದೇ... ಸಚಿವ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಸಿಕ್ಕರೂ ಈ ನಾಯಕರು ಯಾಕೆ ಅಸಮಾಧಾನ ಹೊರಹಾಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ? ಇರೋ ಖಾತೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿ ಜನ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ಗಳಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯ ಇಲ್ವಾ? ಇವರ ಅಸಲಿ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಾದರೂ ಏನು?

In Karnataka politics, becoming a minister is often considered the ultimate achievement for an MLA. With only 34 ministerial positions available in the state cabinet, hundreds of legislators compete for a limited number of opportunities. Naturally, many senior and young MLAs express disappointment when they are left out of the cabinet.
However, a question that is increasingly being asked by the people of Karnataka is this: Why are some leaders unhappy even after becoming ministers? Why do they continue to voice dissatisfaction despite holding important positions in the government?
