ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಆದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಕಬ್ಬಾಳಮ್ಮ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಡಿಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಭೇಟಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ದೇವಿಯ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನ ಪಡೆದು ವಿಶೇಷ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಇದೇ ನನ್ನ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗುಡ್ಡೆ ಅಂತ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

For the first time after assuming office as the Chief Minister, D.K. Shivakumar visited the Kabbalamma Temple. He offered special prayers and sought the blessings of the goddess. Speaking on the occasion, he described the temple as "my sacred witness hill (Sakshi Gudde)," expressing his deep emotional and spiritual connection with the shrine.
