00:00We also have Kwanza who plays in central defense, and there, and it's true that his name has a
00:03a little questioned.
00:04It's true that the name isn't the most exciting thing, let's not kid ourselves.
00:07Those who know nothing about football will explain that he's a defender who plays in the Bundesliga, that he
00:10is zero.
00:11No.
00:11In reality, you still have to put his season into context.
00:13He's leaving Liverpool where, well, he doesn't have a major role in the club.
00:16He's going to Leverkusen, which is rebuilding after the departure of VR, The Frimpong, Ta, Chaka and
00:21company.
00:22And he's going to play a lot in this Leverkusen side, he's even going to score, he's going to be important in the moment.
00:26standing still.
00:26But he's also an extremely fast player; Tourelle was talking about Spence's speed.
00:30Kwanza also reaches speeds of 35 km/h.
00:32We know that in Germany sometimes they can appreciate their fast defenders, it can compensate for other things.
00:36So Tourelle isn't just taking on a young central player etc. to make up the numbers.
00:39Although I don't think Kwanza will get much playing time at the World Cup.
00:42But it's the same, he's a guy who can play right center-back, who can also play on the wing
00:46Right, which has speed.
00:47Well, that might be useful.
00:49Tourelle knows he will accept a rotation role without complaint.
00:52That said, and this is important to note, Kwanza also knows how to raise his voice.
00:56So he won't play for England because he doesn't have the status.
00:58But on Lévar Cousson's TV channel, for example, he didn't hesitate to criticize his teammates.
01:02after a shitty match.
01:03Not everyone has the guts to do that.
01:05And so, indirectly, he too takes a place at McGuire's.
01:08Well, I still think a guy like McGuire should have been in that selection.
01:12Even if he wasn't a starter, he should have been there.
01:15After Tourelle repeated it, hammered it home again and again.
01:18He wants a group of 26 fluid, homogeneous players.
01:21He wants a group of 26 who work very well together, even if there are some players who might
01:24who could have been there.
01:26There you have it, he preferred the collective to individual interests.
01:29What is understandable is that it's a choice.
01:30Now we'll see, will it work this summer?
01:32It's a choice.
