Brisbane’s iconic Victoria Park precinct is closing permanently on Sunday, May 31, 2026, concluding 27 years of operations. The inner-city leisure, hospitality, and sporting destination is shutting its doors to allow the Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority (GIICA) to take over the site on June 1 for construction of the new Brisbane 2032 Olympic Stadium.
