00:10Diskaya's nearly nine-month detention at the Senate. He had been held in contempt since September
00:152025 over inconsistent statements made during the Blue Ribbon Committee's probe into anomalous
00:20public works projects. Diskaya underwent booking procedures at the Senate, including the taking of
00:25his mugshot and fingerprints. He is set to appear before the court for the return of the warrant
00:30after which the court will determine where he will be detained. The arrest warrant stands from
00:35a non-bailable malversation case filed by the Office of the Ombudsman. Investigators alleged
00:40that payments for a P53.9 million flood control project in Kalumpit, Bulacan were released without
00:46proper disbursement approval.
