00:00On July 24th, 2014, a truly horrifying video was uploaded on YouTube by a user called Paula84.
00:08In the footage, a man takes his entire family out on their yacht during a vacation fishing trip.
00:13At first, everyone is in a relaxed mood.
00:16Calm seas, no sign of trouble.
00:18But as the weather begins to turn and the waves grow larger, the situation quickly turns into the family's worst
00:24nightmare.
00:32Oh!
00:34Oh, no!
00:35Don't yell.
00:37Swamp here!
00:38Swamp this way!
00:40Come back!
00:42Swamp this way!
00:44Swamp this way!
00:46Swamp this way!
00:48The fence's sinking!
00:49Swamp the air!
00:50Walk to us!
00:52Come on!
00:52Get rid of it!
00:54Swamp the air!
00:57Where's their way?
01:00He needed it!
01:02There's a shark!
01:02There's a shark in the water!
01:04Yeah!
01:04Ah!
01:09Don't do that!
01:11There's a shark!
01:13There's a shark in the water!
01:16I'm a shark!
01:17I'm a one!
01:18I'm a one!
01:20I'm a one!
01:21I'm a one!
01:23I'm a one!
01:25Shark!
01:27I'm a one!
01:34Suddenly, the yacht capsizes
01:36and starts sinking,
01:37throwing the entire family, including the kids,
01:40into the open ocean.
01:42Instantly, panic takes over.
01:44They cling to the overturned boat
01:45as their screams echo across the water.
01:48As chaos erupts in the water,
01:50a large shark begins circling below.
01:52It keeps closing in on the stranded family,
01:55repeatedly charging at them
01:57as they desperately fight to stay alive.
01:59Luckily, the Coast Guard arrives in time
02:02and manages to pull everyone to safety.
02:04If help had arrived even a few minutes later,
02:06this family could have been facing a very different outcome.
02:10On May 9th, 2026, a deeply disturbing piece of footage was posted on YouTube
02:15by a channel called Fisherman's Life.
02:17In the footage, a fisherman heads to the South Fork of the American River
02:21with his friend Jim, for what seems like a normal day outdoors.
02:24At first, everything feels routine.
02:27They're scanning the riverbanks for Gold Rush-era relics,
02:30enjoying a quiet day of fly fishing.
02:32But suddenly, they discovered something
02:34that turned an ordinary outing into a deeply unsettling situation.
02:39We're at this new spot in the middle of nowhere.
02:42And Jim thinks this is a human bone.
02:44I have no degree in bones.
02:47But what is this?
02:49Dang, that doesn't look like a human bone, huh?
02:51It does, Jim.
02:53If I touch it, will I get cursed?
02:55I don't know, man.
02:57Only one way to find out.
02:58Alright.
03:00Just to give you a sense of the scale.
03:02Huh.
03:03What'd it actually like?
03:06Would it be...
03:08It would be a...
03:09In your kneecap.
03:10Dude, that looks like it would be a...
03:11Dang.
03:14I think it would be right here under my kneecap is where it starts.
03:19Yeah.
03:20Dude, that's a human bone.
03:22I'm not even getting to it.
03:30Huh?
03:31Yeah, maybe it'll bring us luck.
03:33Dude, hopefully.
03:34Bad luck.
03:35While exploring near an abandoned campsite,
03:37they stumble upon what appears to be human remains.
03:40At first, neither of them knows exactly what they're looking at.
03:43But they're visibly unsettled by the discovery.
03:46And the moment he gets home, he calls 9-1-1.
03:51Florida County Sheriff's Office, not an emergency.
03:54Sheriff's Office.
03:55Hi.
03:56I was fishing in the South Fork of the American River on Saturday,
03:59and pretty far out into the river.
04:04And I came across what I think is a human tibia, but I'm not sure.
04:11I just wanted to report that.
04:13Okay.
04:14So you were fishing in the South Fork of the American River?
04:18That's right.
04:19And you think you came across a human tibia?
04:22That's what it looks like.
04:23I asked my friend who is an EMT, and he's a nurse.
04:26And I asked a couple people, and they said that that's what it looks like.
04:28And I was making a fishing video, so I have it all on camera.
04:33I have pictures that I could share if there's a number I could message.
04:38Yeah.
04:39Let me get your information.
04:43And do you live in El Dorado County?
04:45No, I live in Calvary County, about an hour and a half away.
04:48But if need be, I don't mind driving back up to show anybody where it's at if that's necessary.
04:54Gotcha.
04:54Let me make some phone calls.
04:56And do you have the actual bone with you?
04:59No.
04:59No.
05:00I wasn't sure if it was human or a deer.
05:02We just left it out there.
05:03All right.
05:04Stay by your phone, and we will get back in touch with you shortly.
05:08Okay.
05:08Thanks.
05:10So you called because you were fishing down by the river.
05:14And this was on Saturday.
05:16And you found what you believed to be a tibia.
05:19Yeah.
05:20Yeah.
05:20That's what it looks like.
05:21I'm hoping it's a deer, but it sure looked like human to me.
05:24Took that upstream about another mile through thick brush.
05:29Yep.
05:30And it was like right along the river in the brush.
05:33Where was it?
05:35It was probably 10 feet above the river.
05:39And the bone's pretty old.
05:41Obviously you said this, but there's no like shoe attached to this.
05:45No.
05:46Can you send me whatever picture you have of it?
05:50Because there's a lab up in Chico that can take a picture with a measuring tape next to it
05:55and definitively tell you what kind of bone it is.
05:59Is it possible for you to show me where you found it?
06:02In person?
06:03I don't mind driving up there.
06:04It's a long hike, but...
06:05I'll start with this.
06:07Send me whatever picture you have.
06:08Let me look at it.
06:09Okay.
06:10We have coroner detectives and a pathologist.
06:13I'll send that picture to them and see what they think.
06:16Okay.
06:17And then I'll call you if I want you to make the drive, but I'm sure I won't be able
06:21to find it without you with me.
06:23Yeah.
06:24Yeah.
06:24That's fine.
06:25That's fine with me.
06:27Is this your cell phone?
06:28Should I send it to this?
06:29Yeah.
06:30Just send it to this.
06:31Okay.
06:32Okay.
06:32No problem.
06:32I'll take a better screenshot and I'll send it to you.
06:35Yep.
06:36No problem.
06:36Bye.
06:39Oh wow.
06:40Okay.
06:42So I got a couple questions for you.
06:44Yeah.
06:45When can you come show me where it is?
06:47It would take me probably a while to find it.
06:50Yeah.
06:50It's faster if you're just like, here it is.
06:52Boom.
06:52So I just want to know your availability.
06:54Now I'm going to call our detective sergeant because there's human remains and it's now
06:59a bigger deal.
07:00I thought for sure it would be, I mean, I've done a ton of these calls, people hiking out
07:04in the middle of nowhere and there's bones and they're like, oh, there's human.
07:07And then this is the first time they're like, yep.
07:10It's human.
07:10Okay.
07:11I mean, today or tomorrow would probably be better for me.
07:13All right.
07:13I'll call you back.
07:14I'm going to call the detective sergeant right now.
07:16Okay.
07:16Thanks.
07:17I'm available today if you need it.
07:18Hello.
07:19Hey Matt.
07:20It's Deputy Durant again.
07:21Hi.
07:22Okay.
07:23Our sergeant wants me to hike out there with you if you're available so I can look at it.
07:28Okay.
07:28Yeah.
07:29No problem.
07:29I can make my way over.
07:30Now it's 1.30.
07:32I'll probably be there around three, three o'clock, 3.15.
07:35Yeah.
07:36I'll head up there and I'll meet you at the trailhead.
07:39Hey, you'd mentioned something further up river like what looked like an abandoned homeless
07:45encampment type of thing.
07:46Yeah, that's like really close to where the bone was so we'll be able to see it.
07:51Okay.
07:52Perfect.
07:53Yep.
07:53All right.
07:54See you soon.
07:54Bye.
07:55Yeah.
07:56You're welcome.
07:56Looks like it's just starting to rain.
07:58Yeah.
07:58Hour and a half.
07:59Not too bad.
07:59Let me get my stuff.
08:01Okay.
08:02All right.
08:02After you.
08:03You know the way better than me.
08:04Yeah.
08:05Yeah.
08:05No.
08:06We sent the pictures to the Cal State University Chico bone lab and she's like, yeah, that's
08:12a human leg bone.
08:14Yeah.
08:14Tibia looked like.
08:15Pretty sure we went through here first.
08:27Now, hopefully the river's not that high.
08:30I think it's just up here a little bit.
08:33Oh, no.
08:35Uh.
08:37Yeah, a little bit.
08:38I think it may have been right here.
08:40This looks like where it was.
08:45I remember my friend found it like right here.
08:51And then I think I moved.
08:52Oh, here it is.
08:54Yeah.
08:56And it was right down there.
08:59Right behind you.
09:01Okay.
09:02Where's that camp at before I pick that up?
09:05Over here.
09:06Eighth of a mile.
09:08There it is.
09:09Packed in against this wall here.
09:12Some more random clothing.
09:34All right.
09:35All right.
09:37All right.
09:38All right.
09:39All right, man.
09:41The deputy later returns to the location with the creator to investigate the area.
09:46But aside from the remains, nothing is found.
09:49The remains are taken into custody for further examination.
09:52But so far, it remains unclear who they belong to or how they ended up there.
09:58Honestly, in a place that remote, it's hard not to wonder what really happened there and how close the creator
10:03may have come to danger himself.
10:06On July 5th, 2025, a two-part body cam video was uploaded to YouTube by a channel called Swamp Cop
10:13that captures one of the most chaotic fishing encounters ever recorded.
10:16In the footage, a wildlife officer pulls over a boat at a ramp after dark with no navigation lights and
10:23loud arguing coming from inside.
10:25What starts as a routine safety check quickly turns into something far more dangerous.
10:31So, you've been drinking, right?
10:34Yes, sir.
10:34All right.
10:35You're willing to do some tasks for me to prove that you can operate this vessel in the vehicle?
10:39Yes, sir.
10:39Okay.
10:40When I tell you to, touch the tip of your nose with the tip of your index finger and immediately
10:46return it to your side.
10:48This is the nail of your finger.
10:51This is the tip.
10:53This is the side.
10:55And then this is the pad, okay?
10:57You're going to aim with the tip of your finger to the dime-sized portion on your nose.
11:03One more time.
11:04On the tip of your nose.
11:05Okay.
11:06Which one?
11:07You want it?
11:08Okay.
11:09For the next 30 minutes, the wildlife officer conducted a seated sobriety test on the boat operator.
11:16Begin.
11:18Which one?
11:19Left.
11:22Sure.
11:25Right.
11:29Left.
11:31Right.
11:33Right.
11:36Left.
11:38Okay.
11:39Open your eyes and straighten your head.
11:41Can you relax for a minute?
11:42Yeah.
11:43Ma'am, you can't drive right now, okay?
11:45Let's not make matters worse.
11:46I have f***ing kids and everybody else.
11:48I understand that.
11:50He's trying to let me go.
11:51Listen.
11:52Don't do whatever he wants.
11:53Let's not make matters worse.
11:55He's trying to let me go.
11:55He's trying to let me go.
11:57Okay?
11:58Don't do whatever you need to do.
12:01I don't love.
12:02Listen.
12:02Ma'am, please don't drive, okay?
12:04Did you understand what I just said?
12:05Yeah, I got you.
12:06He's trying to...
12:06Like my daughter is trying to find the keys.
12:09I can't find the keys.
12:09I get it.
12:10I get it, sir.
12:10I understand, but please don't...
12:12Don't drive.
12:13Okay?
12:13I'm telling you, don't drive.
12:15He's trying to help me out.
12:17Alright, fine.
12:18Don't drive.
12:20Okay?
12:21Can you go back over the boat?
12:22Just don't drive.
12:23Yes.
12:24Hey, listen.
12:24Don't drive.
12:26He's trying to help me out.
12:27Shut up.
12:28Don't drive.
12:28Shut up.
12:29Shut up.
12:31From the start, the tension is obvious.
12:33The man is hostile, immediately arguing, and calling the officer names over a standard inspection.
12:39The officer stays calm, runs a seated sobriety test, and after about 30 minutes, makes the arrest foreboding under the
12:46influence.
12:46And that's when the clip takes a horrifying turn.
12:51Step back.
12:52Don't make it bad.
12:54Step back.
12:54Hey, listen.
12:55You're still back.
12:56Please.
12:57Please, listen.
12:57I'll be, it'll be fine.
12:59Go back.
12:59It'll be fine.
13:01It'll be fine.
13:02No, because I want to know why the f**k you are.
13:03I'm going to explain it to her.
13:05Chill out.
13:06Alright?
13:06Let's not get it bad.
13:07No, because I literally could have drove home.
13:09And if you arresting him for a DUI, no.
13:11I'm not arresting him.
13:12No, you could arrest me too, because I will drive home.
13:13I'm not arresting him for DUI, ma'am.
13:16I don't want to f**k you arrest him.
13:17That's for boating under the influence, okay?
13:19I drive.
13:20I have my license.
13:20Because all he did was pull it into here, because he didn't want me to hit the dock.
13:23Alright.
13:24Sit down.
13:24I drove the whole time.
13:25I have my boaters license if you want to see it.
13:28I understand.
13:28You want me to go get it?
13:29I believe you.
13:29I will go get it, because I drove the whole time.
13:31Okay.
13:32And all I wanted-
13:33Chill.
13:34Alright?
13:34Listen to your dad.
13:35I'm good.
13:35Hey, guys.
13:37Don't you f**king touch me, you f**king asshole.
13:39Alright.
13:40Go back there.
13:41This guy's going to...
13:41Not because I want to f**king you.
13:43It's because he's a d**k.
13:43Literally.
13:44I f**king have a b-
13:45Don't.
13:46Don't put your hand out of me.
13:47No.
13:48Hey, dickhead.
13:49Don't.
13:49Back up.
13:50You are a d**khead.
13:52You are a d**khead.
13:54Sit down.
13:54I don't f**k you.
13:55No.
13:56F**k.
13:57Hey, hey.
13:58Hey, hey.
13:59We ain't f**king driving.
14:01No.
14:01She's f**king driving.
14:03Easy, easy.
14:31The officer calls for backup as the family
14:34gets aggressive.
14:52The operator's brother is seen trying to restrain the two females as they continue to harass
14:58the officer.
15:22While waiting for backup to arrive, the officer tries to de-escalate the situation.
15:27Back.
15:28All right.
15:29I understand.
15:31Back.
15:31I don't want to tase you.
15:43Hey, come over here and just sit.
15:45Just sit down on the curb, all right?
15:46I understand.
15:48Fuck you.
15:49All right.
15:49No, fuck you.
15:55I got you.
15:59I got you.
16:00I got you.
16:01I got you.
16:01Dude, dude, don't make me tase you.
16:04Don't make me tase you.
16:06Don't make me tase you.
16:06Listen, look, look.
16:07Stop.
16:08Hold on.
16:08Stop.
16:09Get down on the ground and stay right there.
16:12You hear me?
16:13I'm not f***ing around now.
16:16I'm not f***ing around.
16:39Turn around.
16:40Turn around.
16:41Turn around right now.
16:43No.
16:44Back.
16:45You were attacking a law enforcement officer.
16:48No, I wasn't, sir.
16:49Sir, I'm sorry.
16:50Hey!
16:54Do it again.
16:56I will.
16:58Go.
16:58No, I will.
17:00I don't have their IDs yet.
17:03I do not have their IDs.
17:04It's been hectic.
17:05I get your mom and dad out of jail a little bit.
17:09Come on.
17:10Come on.
17:11Get my f***ing dad out of jail a little bit.
17:12Come on.
17:12James 13 and 1.
17:15Stop!
17:17Don't stop!
17:19Stop!
17:21Come here now.
17:28Hey, hey, what do y'all get my phone now?
17:31What do y'all get my phone?
17:33My God, are you fucking kidding me right now?
17:37They're little girls.
17:39They're little girls.
17:42They're not controllable.
17:44What the?
17:45They're fucking up at the rest of the room.
17:46Stop!
17:48Girls, stop.
17:49Hey, hey, hey.
17:51Listen, listen, listen.
17:52This could have all been prevented.
17:54Let's breathe.
17:55Let's breathe.
17:56Yeah, listen to your mom.
17:58Listen to your mom.
17:59Okay?
18:01How was my fucking hand hurts?
18:02That dude just threw me to the fucking ground.
18:04Mine, me too.
18:05Listen, I hurt too.
18:07I hurt too.
18:08I'm getting my phone.
18:10No, no, no, no, no.
18:11I'm just sitting right here.
18:12Listen, just breathe.
18:13I'm sitting right back here.
18:16Don't move.
18:17Y'all saw everything?
18:19Yes, sir.
18:19Y'all willing to provide a statement?
18:23That dude down there didn't f*** it.
18:26Yeah, I know.
18:26I know.
18:26I know.
18:28He had my back.
18:29Yeah.
18:30Okay.
18:30And then I saw the them storm you, so I'm like, whoa, we got to.
18:35I know.
18:36They did storm me.
18:39But.
18:39I know.
18:40He's a good Sam.
18:43Hey.
18:44He's a good Sam that came to my aid, man.
18:47They stormed me and he pulled them back.
18:49So I would have been.
18:50Well, right now he's a victim.
18:52Yeah.
18:52Yeah.
18:52I appreciate it, man.
18:54Yeah.
18:54I wasn't sure if you said to come over.
18:56Dude, I had all five of them.
18:58So I said come over.
19:00And if you were willing, I appreciate it.
19:01Okay.
19:01As long as I did the right thing.
19:03No, no.
19:04Yeah.
19:04You're good.
19:05No, you're good.
19:06You're.
19:06You okay?
19:07I know, man.
19:07Yeah, they got me a p***h.
19:08Are you willing to provide a statement for us and everything?
19:10Okay.
19:11He's got my ID.
19:12Okay.
19:13Perfect.
19:13I appreciate you coming like that, man.
19:15That takes a courageous person to do that and I appreciate that.
19:20In the end, every one of them is arrested and charged.
19:24The operator for DUI, the wife for aggravated battery on an officer,
19:28the brother for battery, and both daughters for battery, and resisting arrest.
19:33But watching this, it's hard to focus on the charges.
19:36What really stands out is how long that officer was on his own.
19:39One person, surrounded, trying to do his job with no backup in sight.
19:44On July 27th, 2025, a deeply unnerving piece of footage was uploaded to YouTube
19:50by a channel called Deep Down Spearfishing.
19:53In the footage, Spearfisher Dean is alone in the water just off the coast of Mist Point.
19:58At first, everything feels perfect.
20:01Clear water.
20:02Good conditions.
20:03No sign of danger.
20:05Dean starts throwing chunks of salmon into the water,
20:07trying to attract snapper from below.
20:10But what he draws in instead is something far more terrifying.
20:14My salmon has been in my cray bag for an hour and a half at this stage.
20:18It's tangled in the fishing line I collected earlier.
20:20I'll often put rubbish and fishing line in this netted bag
20:23to remove it from the water after my dive.
20:25I also put my catch in it as it deters the sharks from taxing my fish.
20:29While I'm on the surface preparing for another dive,
20:31the SharkSmart app picks up a tagged female great white within my proximity,
20:36but I am completely unaware that she is to the right observing my every movement.
20:41I slowly turn.
20:42I see her.
20:43I turn my camera on.
20:45And before it can even turn on, she turns and comes straight towards me.
20:52I don't know why she made that sudden approach,
20:54but it felt like a test, like she was sizing me up.
20:57Thankfully she veers off though and seems to settle down.
21:00I'm isolated along the cliff face and there's nowhere for me to go.
21:03If I swim away, I know she'll pick up on my fear
21:05and I won't be able to guard and protect my legs.
21:08So I decide my best option is to hold my ground and try and appear like I'm a threat.
21:12After a few close passes, she seems to lose interest in sizing me up
21:16and shifts her attention to the salmon instead.
21:19I briefly consider removing the salmon from the fish bag,
21:22but she's given me no room
21:23and I know the fish is tangled and requires both of my hands to get it out.
21:27But I quickly decide that hand feeding a great white a dead smelly fish
21:31with my bare hands while I'm unarmed isn't a risk I'm willing to take.
21:36I swim toward her, spear gun extended.
21:38I'm doing my best to look like a threat,
21:40hoping it's enough to make her think twice before deciding I'm worth the risk.
21:47She shows no sign of being fazed by me at all,
21:51circling wide before turning in the direction of me and the fish in the bag.
21:54I decide to duck dive and meet her on her level,
21:57swimming head on in a strong attempt to warn her off.
22:01It's at that point that she veers broadside and for the first time I see the full scale of her
22:06size.
22:06I'm completely lost for words with how beautiful this shark is.
22:11I try to stop my hands from trembling to mask the fear as I push my spear gun out towards
22:16her.
22:24I match her movements, constantly turning and staying face to face.
22:28I can't risk letting her slip to the side of my body where I'd have no barrier between us.
22:37She makes several passes before brushing a petrol fin along the bag with the salmon.
22:42I can sense that she's getting impatient because she can't get to the fish.
22:45I hear a loud alarm going off and I lift my head out of the water.
22:49I'm praying that someone see me and called for help,
22:51but at the same time I know there's nothing anyone can do.
22:54I drop my head back underwater and that's when I see her coming straight towards me.
23:00I wasn't sure if she was testing me again or preparing to have a strike,
23:03but I wasn't waiting to find out and I had to act.
23:06I drive the spear into her nose, but it's like hitting a wall of muscle.
23:10The force completely flexes the spear and it almost derails from my gun.
23:17The scariest part is that she's barely concerned and that's when reality sets in.
23:21This speargun isn't stopping her.
23:23She's edging in closer and becoming more impatient.
23:26I don't want to wait to see what she decides to do next,
23:29so I start making a quiet and slow retreat towards the shore.
23:32I'm watching her closely to see her change in behavior while I switch from fight to flight mode.
23:39That's where my heart rate spikes.
23:41I start to penny.
23:42The milky water swallows her from my view and suddenly I've lost her.
23:49Suddenly, Dean's shark smart app sends out an alert.
23:53A female great white shark is nearby and within moments, the animal appears, circling, closing distance.
24:01Knowing there's no way to outrun it in open water, Dean holds his ground with the speargun raised,
24:06trying to keep the shark at a distance.
24:08For several tense moments, the animal keeps coming back, sizing him up,
24:13before eventually losing interest and disappearing into the deep.
24:16Dean managed to make it back to shore alive,
24:18and later, he admitted that several mistakes during the dive nearly cost him his life.
24:23Because if that shark had fully committed to even one of those approaches,
24:26this could have easily been his last trip in the water.
24:30On February 19th, 2026, a truly chilling piece of footage was uploaded to YouTube
24:35by a channel called Marvelous Marv Fishing for Life.
24:39In the video, Marvin is out kayak fishing on Lake Lanier in Georgia,
24:43a lake already known for its dark and unsettling history.
24:47At first, it seems like a normal day on the water.
24:49But only minutes into the trip,
24:51Marvin stumbles into a situation that could have easily turned fatal.
24:57All right, I thought I heard somebody calling for help.
25:01Hold on for a minute.
25:02Is that somebody on the ground?
25:07Holy crap.
25:11Holy crap.
25:14Hello?
25:20Hello?
25:26Hello?
25:30I think we've got somebody down, folks.
25:33Oh, my God.
25:43Hello?
25:50Hello?
25:52Hello?
25:53Hello?
25:56Ma'am, are you okay?
26:00Stand by.
26:00Let me get help.
26:02Let me get help.
26:03While paddling across the lake,
26:05he suddenly hears something through the wind.
26:07At first, he's not sure what it is.
26:09It could be an animal.
26:10It could be nothing.
26:11But something makes him turn around and paddle closer to shore.
26:14And as he gets nearer,
26:16the horrifying reality becomes clear.
26:18There's a woman lying on the ground,
26:20barely conscious,
26:21struggling to breathe and calling for help.
26:23Without hesitation,
26:25Marvin immediately calls 911.
26:38Ma'am, do you have a name?
26:41Ma'am, do you have a name?
26:44Ma'am, do you have a name?
26:47Hello?
26:48We've got an emergency here.
26:50I am at the Clarksbridge boat ramp.
26:56I'm across from it at another boat dock,
26:58and I have a white female
27:00who's on the ground.
27:02It appears that she may have fallen and tripped,
27:05and she's in a recovery position,
27:08but she seems to be gasping for air.
27:12She's...
27:12Ma'am?
27:14Ma'am?
27:16Sir?
27:17Yes, ma'am.
27:17Can you give me the exact address?
27:19Are you on the, like, road?
27:21No, ma'am.
27:22I am actually on land right now.
27:24I'm on shore across from the Clarksbridge boat ramp.
27:34And I need EMS quickly.
27:35I don't see...
27:37I don't see that she's bleeding or anything like that.
27:39She's kind of gasping for air.
27:45Okay, did you witness this?
27:47No, I did not.
27:48I was on the...
27:48in my kayak,
27:50and I thought I heard somebody screaming,
27:53help, help,
27:54and it's windy out here,
27:55so I pulled up closer,
27:57and I saw someone laying on the ground.
28:01Just relax.
28:02Just relax.
28:02Just relax.
28:03I got 911.
28:04But you can see the Clarksbridge, correct?
28:07Yes, I sure can.
28:08From where is it?
28:09Okay.
28:10So you're at the boat ramp, correct?
28:12I'm across from the boat ramp.
28:13I launched from the boat ramp,
28:14and I started kayaking down,
28:17and that's when I kind of heard someone...
28:21What sounded like somebody calling from help?
28:25I'm not going anywhere.
28:26I'll be right here with you.
28:27Okay?
28:29Okay?
28:33911, you still on the line?
28:35Yes, sir.
28:35I'm still here.
28:36Okay.
28:38I'm still here with you.
28:39Yeah?
28:40So she's still conscious.
28:42Okay.
28:45And I got a neighbor that's coming.
28:49Okay.
28:50Hey, how you doing, sir?
28:51Really good.
28:52I just...
28:52The neighbor, I heard y'all yelling.
28:54Yeah.
28:56So I was on the kayak out there,
28:57and I thought I heard somebody yelling.
28:59It was kind of windy, so it was hard.
29:00So I pedaled around and saw her laying here.
29:16Holy cow.
29:17The address of this boat ramp that you have?
29:20Can you give?
29:21Or does he know the address of the...
29:24Lake Road Circle is that R road up there?
29:26If they just go past our road,
29:28we're right down to the...
29:28Because of the docks out there.
29:29Here, I'm going to let you talk to them real quick.
29:31Go ahead.
29:31When you go in the neighborhood,
29:33if you just keep going all the way back,
29:34there's signs that say boat ramp this way.
29:37You can just follow them all the way down.
29:38All right, we got people here, ma'am.
29:51Here you go.
29:52All right, thank you.
29:53Yes, sir.
29:55Did you get that, ma'am?
29:57Yes, sir, I did.
29:58All right.
30:00Any of y'all know her?
30:01I do not know her, but...
30:02Okay.
30:03She has her phone and...
30:05Did you see her, like, fall or something?
30:06No.
30:07I was over here pedaling the cross,
30:08and I heard when I thought somebody...
30:10Help!
30:10I thought it was an animal.
30:11Oh, someone said...
30:12She was saying help?
30:12She was saying help.
30:13Okay, because I was just saying,
30:14because I know some people come down here
30:15and get messed up, so like...
30:17Yeah.
30:18Got it.
30:19So I kind of pedaled around here,
30:21and then when I was pedaling around,
30:22I seen somebody laying here.
30:25So, she's conscious,
30:26and she's trying to move.
30:27I think she's good right now
30:29in the recovery position,
30:30but I think something may be broken on their arm.
30:33I'm glad you found it.
30:35Yeah.
30:36This is really off topic,
30:37but are you a YouTuber?
30:38Uh, I am.
30:39You like nearby...
30:40Caspot, or bass kayak fishermen?
30:42Yes, I do.
30:43That's you?
30:43Yeah, Marvelous Mars.
30:44I'm subscribed to you, man, on YouTube.
30:46I appreciate it, brother.
30:47That's crazy.
30:47I see you all the time over here.
30:48I appreciate it.
30:49I'm a thing, so I'm like...
30:50Yeah.
30:52For the next several minutes,
30:54he stays right beside her,
30:55trying to keep her awake,
30:57talking to dispatch,
30:59calling out to anyone nearby for help.
31:01She fades in and out of consciousness,
31:03barely able to speak,
31:04and at certain moments,
31:05it genuinely feels like she might not make it.
31:08But just as the situation reaches its worst point,
31:11paramedics finally arrive.
31:14Hey, what's going on, brothers?
31:15It's good to be fishing, yeah?
31:16Yeah.
31:17Let's just get off with 911.
31:18Yeah.
31:20Again, uh...
31:20Let me know what information you all need.
31:22Uh, just...
31:23I mean, you just found her like this,
31:24and she was just...
31:24You were just over there,
31:25and she was...
31:26Yeah, she was...
31:26She was yelling for help.
31:28Yeah.
31:29Oh, wait.
31:32Okay.
31:33There you go.
31:34Okay, cool.
31:36She was just coherent here
31:37a little while ago.
31:38I need a Lucas.
31:40I need a Lucas.
31:45Yeah.
31:47Hey, can you hear me?
31:48Okay.
31:48Can you hear us, man?
31:54You're great for that.
31:55You really are.
31:55No, I appreciate your help, man.
31:56Yes, sir.
31:57Yep.
31:58I just got to go for Christmas.
31:59Oh, really?
32:00I've been into more...
32:01I've been into fishing a lot more.
32:02I used to just go into that bridge
32:03and just stay in the dock area.
32:04Yeah, I tried...
32:05I heard it was going to rain today,
32:05so I didn't leave my boat out.
32:07I knew it was going to be
32:08somewhat windy,
32:09but not this windy, man.
32:10So...
32:11I'll go out there,
32:11and then you'll post
32:12a YouTube show the next day,
32:13and then there'll be some fat...
32:14And I was right there.
32:15I'm like,
32:16what do you do?
32:17Can I ask?
32:18What's the best thing
32:18to catch bass in bluegill?
32:20You know,
32:21it depends on
32:22the time of day,
32:23the season,
32:24and what I like today.
32:25On a windy day like this,
32:27warmer temperatures,
32:29spinnerbait right now
32:30is what I was going to use.
32:31So glide baits are pretty decent,
32:32but right now,
32:33I was going to go
32:34spinnerbait all day.
32:36So you've got some stuff already?
32:37I have not.
32:38I just got started.
32:38I left the boat ramp
32:40and was coming across.
32:41Yes.
32:41You're going to have to post that.
32:42Yes.
32:43You have to block some stuff out.
32:44Yeah, I'm going to block some...
32:44Yeah.
32:46Not to use her or anything,
32:47but that'll be a lot.
32:48That'll be a lot.
32:49Yeah.
32:49Just mind your business
32:50and kayak fishing.
32:52Yeah.
32:53Yeah, I recognize
32:54the color of your kayak
32:55because you have the black
32:56and orange kind of-ish mix.
32:58So I was like,
32:58and all them cameras,
32:59I was like,
33:00that's got to be.
33:01Yeah.
33:01But yeah,
33:02small world, man.
33:03It is a small world.
33:04All right.
33:05Yeah, I thought she was going to be all right.
33:06Like I said,
33:07I don't know how long she's been here.
33:08With how she was responding,
33:09something might have been broken in there.
33:11Right.
33:11She just couldn't respond.
33:12Like, you know,
33:13when she talked,
33:13obviously it looked like it hurt.
33:15Right.
33:16She has some personal items over here.
33:19It looks like her phone,
33:20a thermostat,
33:21and a lighter.
33:24In the end,
33:25the woman is taken to the hospital.
33:27It turns out she had suffered a stroke
33:29right there near the lake.
33:30And according to what was later said,
33:33if Marvin hadn't been there
33:34at that exact moment,
33:35she likely would not have survived.
33:37This could have turned
33:38into an absolute tragedy.
33:39But because one person
33:41stopped to investigate
33:41a strange sound in the distance,
33:43she made it out alive.
33:46On October 22nd, 2025,
33:48a chilling piece of kayak footage
33:50was uploaded to YouTube
33:51by a channel called Die Hard Fishing.
33:53In the video,
33:55he's out solo in the Bay Area,
33:56targeting lingcod on a reef offshore.
33:59But after bleeding out his first catch,
34:01something happens
34:02that completely changes
34:03the tone of the trip.
34:05Good morning.
34:06Today, we're doing some live bait fishing,
34:08and it's going to be
34:09a little bit of a challenge.
34:10I'm going to see how long
34:12I can get
34:12or how quickly
34:13I can get out there,
34:15catch a limit of lingcod,
34:16and come back
34:17right here on the beach.
34:18So right now,
34:19it is
34:227.42.
34:23So let's start the timer,
34:24get out there,
34:25and go catch some fish.
34:36And just like that,
34:37we're underway.
34:37So today,
34:38I'm going to be using
34:39these cool new glasses
34:40I got
34:41from Bleak Up,
34:43and they're
34:44four-in-one sunglasses.
34:46So they're sunglasses,
34:47they're walkie-talkie,
34:48they're Bluetooth speakers.
34:50He paddles out to his reef,
34:52drops a live smelt to the bottom,
34:54and hooks into a solid
34:5527-inch lingcod
34:56within minutes.
34:57After landing it,
34:58he bleeds the fish overboard.
35:00Then he looks up,
35:01and what happened next
35:02is every fisherman's
35:04worst nightmare.
35:14Oh my god,
35:16a great white right here.
35:20Huge great white right here.
35:29He's just chillin'.
35:32Swimmin' in a circle here.
35:36I don't know if it's best
35:37to just stay,
35:38or start movin',
35:40but I think we're gonna
35:41start movin'.
35:49He's circling,
35:50that's for sure.
35:54Okay.
35:59He's just chillin' right here.
36:00Look at this guy.
36:01Oh my god.
36:05Okay,
36:06I don't really like
36:06the way he's going here.
36:08Oh,
36:09that's a big shark.
36:16I'm gonna,
36:16I'm gonna get out of here.
36:22I'm gonna get out of here.
36:31Oh,
36:32that's a big shark.
36:34Oh,
36:34I'm not sure
36:35if he's following me.
36:36He was following me,
36:37not really aggressively,
36:39but he was behind me
36:40for a little while.
36:46man that gets your heart racing that's for sure
36:54i don't really want to stop to see if he's still there
37:00yeah i don't know if the camera's gonna pick him up i think you might actually see him on
37:04the camera before i saw him because he came from over here like this and his spin was out of
37:09the
37:09water at that point but there's some kayakers over here
37:15i'm gonna go kind of give him a heads up if there is a shark out here
37:19and uh yeah just think about my next move after that i just want to give all the kayakers a
37:27heads
37:27up i saw a shark out here
37:34thinking about it that shark was probably
37:36draw it in because i was just bleeding that fish
37:42and i had just put that fish in my cooler right before that shark came by so he might have
37:48i don't know he definitely smelled the blood i don't know if he would have grabbed that fish
37:52if i had him over the edge but
37:55yeah i guess that's a downside to bleeding your fish out here
38:02i don't think he's following me probably a little bit intimidated with the size
38:06but that shark was definitely as big if not bigger than my kayak
38:16out of nowhere a great white shark surfaces and starts circling the kayak
38:21diehard spots it immediately but stays remarkably calm
38:25slowly trying to make his way closer to shore in the hope that the shark loses interest
38:29in the end he managed to make it back to safer water
38:32but not before landing one final catch of the day
38:35watching this it's hard not to think about how vulnerable he really was out there
38:39because being alone in a kayak with a great white circling around you can turn dangerous very quickly
38:45on november 1st 2021 a disturbing piece of kayak fishing footage was uploaded to youtube by a channel
38:51called fisherman's chronicles in the clip he's out alone kayak fishing when he accidentally hooks a
38:57bat ray at first it doesn't seem like a huge problem just an unwanted catch but within seconds
39:03the entire situation turns into every fisherman's worst nightmare
39:08that's a nice little surprise catch bat ray on the kayak while fishing for a halibut
39:15wow look at got a good view of that this guy's trying to sting me not gonna let him
39:21look at that it's one big chunky bat ray oh look

40:21i just got stung by a bat ray oh the barb is in there oh gotta be careful when you're
40:29handling
40:29them on a kayak
40:33out of nowhere the ray lashes its tail and drives a barb straight into his wrist
40:37instantly panic sets in he's alone bleeding and stranded out on the water with the barb still
40:44buried deep in his arm but the worst part is it won't come out
40:51uh oh
40:54ah hey siri how do you remove a stingray barb from your arm
41:23i still want to release this guy as fast as possible this was my fault

42:43ah
42:43ah
43:00he struggles to remove it trying everything he can while the pain keeps getting worse
43:05eventually he's forced to snap part of the barb off before releasing the ray and rushing
43:10back to shore with the rest still lodged inside his wrist watching the footage what really
43:15stands out is how calm he managed to stay through the entire ordeal because if that barb
43:19had hit somewhere slightly different this could have easily turned into his final fishing trip
43:25on june 15th
43:26on june 15th 2023 a truly breathtaking video was posted on youtube by a channel called curtis may
43:32in the recording a man named dane jackson and his group head deep into the white water of chiapas
43:38mexico to run a section known as the five kings five massive waterfalls back to back a place where
43:45one mistake can turn deadly very quickly for the first part of the run everything goes perfectly then
43:51they reach the third king a 35-foot drop and suddenly something goes catastrophically wrong
44:25they reach the third king
44:36in the ten
44:41they reach
44:53in the ten
44:56one
44:58I'm not dead.
45:38I'm not dead.
45:40I'm not dead.
45:56The force of the waterfall traps Dane in a corner.
45:59Again and again, he tries to paddle through the brutal wall of water, but it's impossible.
46:05Every attempt gets shut down instantly.
46:08Meanwhile, his friends are stranded downstream, separated from him by another 60-foot drop.
46:13With no easy way to reach him, they're forced to climb back up and attempt an incredibly dangerous rescue.
46:20I'm not dead.
46:21I'm not dead.
46:39I'm dead.
46:40I'm dead.
46:42I'm dead.
46:48I'm dead.
47:01I'm dead.
47:05I'm dead.
47:07I'm dead.
47:07I'm dead.
47:17I'm dead.
47:20I'm dead.
55:05We're right back.
55:12Yeah, okay, okay
55:17Well don't know what's going on here hoax. I gotta see myself
55:26That's bad
55:38Well, huh, there you go. Hold on. First thing I need to do
55:44Is quit the line
55:49Okay, okay, okay
55:53Can't tell it's too darned right out here
55:57To see what's going on
56:01Well folks
56:05Yeah, that's that's past the bar for sure
56:09The treble hook flies back and buries itself past the barb straight into his face
56:14He's alone. No one to help no hospital nearby
56:17Just him a mirror and a pair of pliers and somehow he stays calm
56:23He starts explaining the situation to the camera like it's a tutorial while a fishing lure is hanging from his
56:28lip
56:30I
56:31Think the first step
56:34Is to clip the hook where I can remove the crank me from my mouth
56:40Okay, so the crank day is hanging freely
56:46Ouch
56:48Now it actually hurts more. This is hard in a mirror
56:59I'm starting to shake
57:04Yeah, that's not gonna work
57:08This is a predicament here folks
57:11Hmm if you're new to fishing there's a way we're like if you think about a hook in in your
57:16skin past the barb
57:17You can like poke it through your skin
57:19Clip off the barb and you're good
57:21The problem is this crank this like hook is so small this treble hook
57:25I'm not sure if I have the room to poke it through clip the barb and keep going
57:31That's hurting
57:32That's hurting. Oh, I just tried to pull it out
57:35Just straight up
57:37Man it up
57:39Yeah, one more time
58:00Oh
58:05Whoa
58:07Whoa my goodness
58:09Oh
58:11I'm a man
58:14All right, you know what we're gonna do folks
58:17I don't know why I'm rinsing the crankbait off
58:20You know what we're gonna do
58:22We're gonna use this crankbait now and catch a fish
58:26What follows is slow deliberate and hard to watch
58:31He tries to push it through it's too deep
58:33He tries pulling it straight out his hands start shaking and eventually through sheer force
58:39He rips it free then almost unbelievably
58:43He rinses the lure off and keeps fishing with it
58:46Honestly if that hook had landed just a few inches higher he could have ended that trip with one less
58:51eye
58:52Not disturbed then check out the next video on screen right now
