00:01A little nerve-racking now. First big swordfish I've seen in a few years. I used
00:05to swordfish all the time, but up and down, up and down. Fish came all the way
00:08up, went back down a few hundred feet, back up, back down, just made a jump
00:11around 300 pounds, it looks like, you know, give or take a few. Would make our
00:14whole day here, would make our week, would make the month. This is a big fish,
00:18this is one we're after. It could make the year, actually. The harpoon's loaded, the
00:20gaff's ready. We're all keeping our fingers crossed.
00:44It's time to fish. Quad 450 Yamaha starting up. Got my dad here, his long-time
00:50friend Charlie, Ron is here again, the professional photographer, and James, aka
00:56Beef Chief, and Jasper on the camera. Leaving a little late, just took Claire to
01:00school, stays a little sick, so we can't get a swordfish today. Here we go.
01:04James. Yes, sir. He was with Sports Illustrated Magazine. This is before your
01:09time, 27 years. He shot a hundred covers, 24 Super Bowls, 24 World Series Olympics.
01:18You know how I met him? No. They were doing a swimsuit edition again, which is probably
01:22something you don't know about, where they took the most celebrated models in the world,
01:26and they went on the beach up at the Moorings. And they sent an SI, who was a sports
01:31photographer. So Cheryl Teagues was on the cover, and he needed, they needed somebody
01:36to pull him along while he photographed her. So I volunteered to do that. That's how we
01:41met him. That's awesome. Is that true, Ron? Is that true?
01:45That's his story, and he's sticking to it.
01:47That's all, man. That's it. Everything I said is true.
02:11Absolutely gorgeous out here the last two miles, so hopefully today's the day. Looking
02:16for big mama. Forklift, Fred, as we used to call her. Penn International 80 Electric, paired
02:22up with a Winthrop T10 Butt on one of our stands. Medium Swordfish rods, which we use
02:27with a 10-pound lead on average. And see if we can't find the big girl today.
02:37All right, we're in there.
02:39Little Plano tackle box. We'll have our sword gear in here. Some crimps, rubber bands, hooks,
02:44some lights, skirts, and all that. So that's the squid we caught last trip and rigged him
02:49up but didn't drop him. So he's going down today. You always want to make sure you crimp
02:57it properly. Tight enough, but not too tight. Some Mustad ball bearing swivel, 10-0 Mustad
03:03hook, and some Mustad crimpers. So they got a lot of your terminal tackle. Remember, you can
03:09save 20% on all these Mustad products with code STANCE20 at mustadfishing.com.
03:54And today looks like perfect conditions for the trolling motors while we swordfish. This
03:59is the Gen 5 Rodan paired up with a sea swivel. Swing out there on the outside. We just hit
04:06bottom
04:06the tip rod. The buoy rod is out. We'll get both of these going. If it's light current,
04:12you can use one, but usually you want to use both here if you're on the 47. It's a big
04:17boat,
04:18so paired up, sync, one control, one remote here, control both of them. Check them out if you like
04:24them. The wind switched. So we're going to have to move this rod to the other side of the boat.
04:29Back to fishing. Wind switched directions. We didn't want the boat blowing to have the line,
04:35so on the starboard side now. Rodan is still going. Here we go.
04:41Been a little bit over an hour on the first drift. Don't want to drift too long because you drift
04:45two
04:45or three hours and squids each of your bait are tangled up. You can come up and have wasted that
04:49much time. So usually about an hour max, hour and a half for a drift. We'll check both these baits.
04:54If they're good, maybe send them back down, but I know my dad wants to fish for a big one,
04:58so we might put down a bigger bait. We'll see. Drift number two coming up. We're going to do three
05:03rods. James just rigged up a big old skipjack strip with an 11-0 Mustad. We caught that skipjack the
05:12other day, rigged a couple of baits with him, but we still had him. He still looked decent, so
05:16that could be the one right there. Good looking bait right there.
05:23We're adding a squid jig to our sinker line. See if he can catch some fresh squid,
05:31but they're like booby traps.
05:32Can you see this one here, Nick, so the cutting board's not in the way?
05:35Yeah, it'll be fine. You just got to be careful when we pull these in now that we don't get
05:39got.
05:40Because that going into your hands or fingers is not fun, but maybe I'll squirt it
05:45up on it. We'll see. Just over 1,500 feet of water. A little bit of life down there.
05:53Bowie rod's going out. Tip rod's going out. We're going to slide a third right out here momentarily.
05:59We had a bite on the big skipjack strip. 1,700, a little bit deeper.
06:05Fingers crossed. Fingers crossed we get them.
06:08Camera on. You got your camera ready?
06:10I'm ready. It's going to be a wide ride.
06:12Still decent.
06:13It made it.
06:15Yeah.
06:16Only whacked it a few times, but.
06:18I thought it might be completely destroyed, but not bad at all.
06:21You can see where it barely pinched it there, scuffed it up.
06:25Probably a small fish and not super hungry.
06:28I would agree.
06:29I think we should send it back down.
06:30I agree. It's proven.
06:31It has not been a very eventful day yet.
06:34You know, we left a little bit later this morning.
06:36That boat said they did catch a doubleheader first drop.
06:39And that was before we get out here because we're an hour,
06:43hour and a half later than usual coming.
06:45But you never know.
06:46It ain't over yet.
06:47We're going to travel a little bit shallower now.
06:49See what happens.
06:51We're not giving up yet.
06:53We got a flipper by us.
06:55Could be a good sign.
07:05We just go.
07:06There's a mark.
07:07We just marked the swordfish on the Garmin.
07:11This one has had a bite.
07:12We'll see if he eats it.
07:13We just marked one and looked back.
07:15And Jeff just moved the bait a minute ago.
07:17And also, boom, whacked.
07:18And there he was, so.
07:20We are tight.
07:21The rod just doubled over.
07:23Hope he's hooked good.
07:24He's on there for now.
07:27He's on there for now.
07:33Fingers crossed.
07:35Make our day.
07:37Okay.
07:38Looked like the fish came off.
07:39Saw the mark on the Garmin.
07:41That's the Airmar 3 kilowatt transducer.
07:43599.
07:45Had a whack.
07:47Moved around underneath it.
07:49Then it bent over.
07:50Came back up.
07:50Also the tip went slack.
07:51Are coming up and that means the fish is on the weight up.
07:53So.
07:53He's coming up.
07:54Fingers crossed we make our day here.
07:56I'm excited.
07:59370.
08:00Slacker.
08:03Yeah, he is.
08:05He's trying to jump.
08:06We've been fishing all day for this thing.
08:08He's swimming up.
08:09He's coming to the top.
08:10Okay.
08:10It's slack.
08:13You got the lead right now.
08:14I'll get it, yeah.
08:1798.
08:2940.
08:3235.
08:33Watch right in here, Ron.
08:35We're on point.
08:36Right over here.
08:42100 feet away, Ron.
08:45He's off the bow.
08:48Watch off the bow, Ron.
08:54He's going to jump.
08:56Right in here.
08:57Right in here.
08:58Right there.
08:59Watch in there.
08:59It's a big fish.
09:00It's definitely a big one.
09:03He's starting to shake his head.
09:04So he may come up.
09:05He might come up jumping nice.
09:06Coping up a little bit.
09:08Oh yeah, this is her.
09:10That's her.
09:10This is the only one who got her shot.
09:14Yeah, we got to get the other rod in.
09:18We could always cut if we had to.
09:19Almost.
09:20We could always cut if we had to.
09:23Well, we got the bowie on it, right?
09:25Yeah, but I don't think we'll ever find it again.
09:29Here he comes.
09:29Keep your eyes out here, right here.
09:32Yeah, we got to try to get it in.
09:37Yeah, this is not going to be a quick count.
09:39We just got the second bowie rod in.
09:41We were fishing three rods.
09:42It was close.
09:43The lines were real close, but we got it in.
09:44The lead's off.
09:45We're just pulling the bait in now.
09:46But this is a big fish.
09:47We've been fishing a few days for this bite and all day today.
09:50And fingers crossed he stays on.
09:52This is why we're out here.
09:53We said we wanted a big one.
09:54We fished some bigger baits and we got our shot.
10:00It's coming up.
10:02Are you ready?
10:02Keep your eyes open, guys.
10:05They're all big fish.
10:06Big fish.
10:07300 pounder.
10:08What a jump.
10:09300 pounder, dad.
10:11That was a slow motion jump.
10:13I like that.
10:14Yeah, this is her.
10:16This is her.
10:18A little nerve wracking now.
10:20First big swordfish I've seen in a few years.
10:22I used to swordfish all the time.
10:23But this year I've been a handful more times than the last couple.
10:27But up and down, up and down.
10:29Fish came all the way up.
10:30Went back down a few hundred feet.
10:31Back up, back down.
10:32Just made a jump.
10:33Hopefully we got it on camera.
10:35Around 300 pounds it looks like, you know, give or take a few.
10:38So hopefully we get them.
10:39James is on the reel.
10:40The harpoon's loaded.
10:41The gaff's ready.
10:43We're all keeping our fingers crossed.
10:44But nerve wracking when you see a big swordfish come up.
10:46Always gets us excited.
10:48Come on, fish.
10:49Show yourself again.
10:50We took the lead off, right?
10:52The lead's off, yep.
10:53A hundred feet to the...
10:54There's the wind on, a hundred feet away.
10:55There's a leader.
10:56Might come up jumping again.
11:00James is going to have to do it all.
11:01Here we come.
11:01Oh, there he is.
11:01Big jump, big jump.
11:07Still blue?
11:13You ready, Ron?
11:13He might come up.
11:20That thing's blue and black.
11:22He is so purple.
11:23It's so green.
11:28I'm going to have to get back past you in a sec, Joe.
11:34Yeah.
11:43How far is she?
11:44I can't see in the whitewash.
11:46Right here.
11:47You can see the fish?
11:49Purple back.
11:51She is lit up.
11:51Watch this one.
11:56I don't see her.
11:57Oh, here she is back there.
12:00They're still really green.
12:01Really hard to get a shot.
12:02She's hard though.
12:03She's all close though.
12:04Yeah.
12:10Come on, big girl.
12:12Give us a shot.
12:13Sun's going down.
12:22Come on, fish.
12:23Come on up here.
12:28Come on, fish.
12:37Come on, big girl.
12:38Spin out of here.
12:38Give it a shot.
12:44I got her.
12:46I got her.
12:47I got her.
12:47I got her.
12:48Get it going.
12:52Get it going.
12:55I got her decent.
12:58I got her, guys.
12:59Tick so hard.
13:02We wanted a big one.
13:04We got him.
13:05Well over 200.
13:06Right in the corner.
13:07Perfect.
13:08Good shot, James.
13:09Right in the corner.
13:10On the Bonita.
13:11Nice job.
13:14A big boat.
13:15You know, we got to spin around.
13:16We don't want to go underneath it.
13:18Takes a little bit of oomph, but close to 250.
13:20Anyhow, good fish.
13:23Sent down the whole Bonita.
13:25My dad said, catch these Bonitas.
13:26We caught them last trip.
13:27And they were sitting in the cooler.
13:29But they were still rigged and still fresh.
13:31And we got them.
13:32Late in the day.
13:34We're going to walk them around the other side.
13:36And we'll go to the door.
13:38Oh, man.
13:38He's going to look like he's thick.
13:40Yeah, okay.
13:41Man, he was blowing down there.
13:42He looked at that.
13:42Yeah, he looked at him in the bigger.
13:43He was so lit up.
13:45Never gets old, Hunter.
13:46The only thing that's better is if you would have got him on the handbrake.
13:52Oh, my God.
13:54He's still angry.
13:55Holy cow, that thing's strong.
13:58Oh, my God.
13:59Are you all right?
14:00Oh, that hurt.
14:01Dude, this thing is good at night.
14:03Are you all right?
14:03That's a good one.
14:05Oh, my God.
14:06Dude, leave him in the water.
14:07This thing's wreaking havoc.
14:09Get out of here.
14:09Dude, that thing wrecked my hand.
14:11Dude, you wrecked me too.
14:12I am, yeah.
14:13Are you bleeding?
14:14No, I feel like it punched me.
14:15Oh, I got hit in the throat last week by one of these.
14:18We thought he was done.
14:19I'm going to have a sore hand.
14:20He got me.
14:21He karate chopped me.
14:23Hang on.
14:24Let's just pull him in.
14:25No, hang on.
14:25Just pull him in.
14:27Okay.
14:27All right, hold on.
14:28Just be careful, dude.
14:29This thing is not done.
14:30I told you.
14:31There we go.
14:31Yeah.
14:32Here we go.
14:33One, two, three.
14:34One, two, three.
14:37Oh, yeah.
14:39Breaking in the door.
14:4147.
14:41One, two, three, go.
14:44I lost 10 pounds in the last month.
14:47Stop going to the gym.
14:48That's your fault.
14:50There we go.
14:51He's at least 250, right?
14:52I think he's three.
14:54I don't think he's that big, but he's 250.
14:57He got me good.
14:59250 pounder.
15:01We got him.
15:04Yeah, boy.
15:04Yeah, boy.
15:06Got tight.
15:07Oh, yeah.
15:09To the bow for a picture quickly, you guys.
15:12Absolutely smoked the whole Bonita on the 10-on Mustad.
15:15If you guys didn't think I was going to bite, it got tight.
15:19I didn't get the idea to use the Bonita.
15:21It was you, and you told me to go back and reset.
15:23Okay.
15:24Okay.
15:24Let's make some pictures.
15:31Big sword with my dad.
15:33He said drop the big bait.
15:34We ran back down three miles.
15:36Put it down.
15:36Marked him on the sonar.
15:38We got him.
15:40We got him.
15:43Okay, right down here, Nick.
15:48Swordfish is getting some pretty colors on him now.
15:50That's silver, a little bit of blue.
15:52250 plus.
15:54Beautiful fish in the 47 Freeman.
15:56Now it's time to put all the tackle away.
15:58We got him on a Penn International 80 Electric
16:01with my dad, his longtime friend, Charlie,
16:03who actually built the original Keshe 22,
16:06which my dad owned for like 25 years after him.
16:09Then we got the newer Keshe 22 about 20 years ago, 22 years ago.
16:11So great to see Charlie out here fishing with us.
16:14We had Ron again, James, and the big swordfish is in the boat.
16:18Time to go home.
16:43We made it back, even though it's dark.
16:46I like to run the motors wide open just for a few seconds.
16:48Still at 70 miles an hour, but had the radar going there to be safe.
16:51But let's see what we burned it.
16:53We did run 53 miles an hour back home on average.
16:56Let me tell you the average fuel burn because everybody likes to know that.
17:00Even though people say if you can afford the boat, you can afford the fuel,
17:02which is true, which luckily when I take my dad fishing, he buys the fuel,
17:06which is cheap compared to the boat.
17:07I will say that.
17:08Well, let's see.
17:09So we went 77.1 miles divided by 117.5 gallons at 0.6 gallons of fuel.
17:17So we average 0.655 miles today.
17:20The way out, we're getting 0.72, but the way home at 53,
17:2354 miles an hour, we're like 0.58, 0.6.
17:26So ate up a little bit more there, but 0.65 on the fuel burn.
17:31Big swordfish.
17:32I guess we're going to try to wham and hurt our backs.
17:35Hold that cart.
17:39Beautiful work.
17:40What a beautiful job.
17:41Great job.
17:42So I need to calibrate the scale at negative 50.
17:44Okay.
17:46So James made a bet with me and I'll tell him what the bet was one more time.
17:49Um, I bet Nick a hundred dollars that that fish is over 300.
17:53He says it's 250, but I get a 10 pound grace period, right?
17:56Yeah.
17:56So 290 plus I owe James a hundred.
17:58If it's 290 plus.
17:59I owe him a hundred.
18:00If it's under 290, he owes me.
18:03He said three and I gave him the 10 pound grace, but I'm wrong.
18:07Going to 318.
18:08Ledge told me that it was over three.
18:11So I'm wrong.
18:12It's his fault.
18:13Right, Richard?
18:16Ledge said, well, I just seen the launch.
18:18I hope he hits it.
18:22Yeah, that ring is not ideal.
18:23Who put this ring here?
18:25Richard.
18:28Come on.
18:30Okay.
18:31What are we at?
18:33281, 281.
18:34Oh, I lose.
18:35You're kidding.
18:37I'm with her.
18:38That's what I'm saying, Ledge.
18:41Nick wins by nine pounds.
18:44I'm buying me a steak dinner.
18:45There you go.
18:46I got me a steak dinner.
18:48I knew he was big.
18:49280.
18:50So we got 280 pounder.
18:51Good fish.
18:54Didn't hit three, but we'll take them.
18:5586-incher.
18:57Scale don't lie.
18:59It's late.
19:00We all want to go home, eat some food.
19:03Hunter on the Kalex.
19:05They said they got a selfish on fly today.
19:06Are you guys winning the tournament?
19:08Yeah, we're winning the tournament, yeah.
19:09Any other ones caught or no?
19:11Nope, we caught one out of a double.
19:12How many boats are fishing, do you know?
19:14I have no idea.
19:15Okay.
19:16Well, they got one on fly.
19:17Selfish on fly here is pretty tough to do.
19:19But usually if you catch one or two, you win it.
19:21So we're going to ice him down overnight.
19:23We'll clean them tomorrow.
19:24It's late.
19:24Everyone's hungry.
19:25We'll see you guys tomorrow morning.
19:26It's the next morning.
19:28The fish when we clean it was a female, had big row sacks.
19:30And we saved them for Poncho.
19:32He loves them.
19:33That one got cut open with a knife and we got them, but this one's still haul.
19:37Lunch.
19:37I'm where is it?
19:38I'm for lunch.
19:39I make a fry.
19:40Oh, perfect.
19:40Fried eggs for lunch.
19:42Steven's very excited.
19:44So is Charlie.
19:45Have you ever?
19:46I've eaten those.
19:47I ate them.
19:47I didn't like them.
19:48Well, you didn't have eggs with scrambled eggs.
19:50Yeah.
19:54Hey Poncho, let me get a picture of that real quick.
19:56Hang on.
19:56Lots of hot sauce.
19:58Ready?
20:00Perfect.
20:01And lots of hot sauce.
20:02Okay.
20:05So we got the pulley here and we're going to hoist them up and clean them while he's hanging,
20:11which I like doing it that way.
20:13You can clean them one side easy this way, but if you flip the fish over, it's harder
20:17because it puts more pressure on the spine of that angle.
20:20So we're going to do them like this.
20:23We'll pull them up there.
20:25We're going to fillet them and have lots of good eating fish for everybody.
20:29Charlie came through you guys.
20:30I just had a small, medium knife in the truck.
20:33Charlie goes, hang on, Nick.
20:35I got the whole arsenal in mine.
20:36He's got a cleaver, a big boning knife, a seven or eight inch knife there, plus a sharpener.
20:43I've never used that one here.
20:44A little better Forstner.
20:45There you go.
20:46We got one here too.
20:47A little better blade.
20:49That looks like an older one.
20:51I bet you flayed a few fish with that one.
20:52I bet you flayed.
20:53I don't see too many of those wood handles anymore like that.
20:55No, they don't, I don't know if they make them anymore.
20:57Yeah, all I see is like the hard plastic ones.
20:59All right.
20:59So first things first, we're going to get the bill off the swordfish.
21:02That just hurt.
21:03I should not do that, but I'm going to try this to see if this works.
21:07If not, I know I can get off with a big knife.
21:10So here we go.
21:13Ducker bleed.
21:17Oh wow, nice.
21:20You know what?
21:21It is working.
21:22It's cutting through there, but I'm destroying my nice shirt.
21:26It's a long one.
21:28So that is his bill and Jeff is an artist as you guys know.
21:33You've seen some of his work before in the videos.
21:35He just did an awesome alligator lighthouse painting, which he's sold.
21:39But he's going to do this one up and something special for the 47 Freeman.
21:43Do you mind if I cut it in one second and show me your left hand and show them what
21:47a bill does?
21:48That is a bill.
21:50That hand is swollen up and either it's a really bad bruise or it's a little crack.
21:57But we're debating whether or not to get x-rays.
21:59So swordfish one, nick zero, but we're even now.
22:04Okay.
22:04Nice sharp knife.
22:05I'm going to go down just a little bit on him.
22:12Like so.
22:14And that's sort of, I mean, that knife is sharp too.
22:18And Charlie, how long ago did you build the original Catch-22?
22:221975.
22:24So 1975, Charlie built the original Catch-22.
22:28And he showed me a picture on the bill yesterday of a swordfish that they didn't weigh.
22:32But what they had sold was what, 423 or something?
22:35The core?
22:36The meat that we sold was 423.
22:39I don't know how big the fish was.
22:40Like 600 pound fish or something like that.
22:43Huge, 550 or 600.
22:45But on the old Catch-22, massive swordfish.
22:48You've known my dad for like 60 years now, is that correct?
22:5260 years I've been friends.
22:54And my dad always talks about Charlie's family.
22:56Because I think your mom helped get him the first boat or something he got, right?
22:59That's right.
23:00His mom helped get him his first charter boat there in Miami.
23:02So lifelong friends and got out there for one more big fish.
23:06So that was really cool.
23:08Full land and put him in the cooler and give it to whoever wants to eat it.
23:13Okay.
23:15You tell me your freezers were full.
23:17Not for me.
23:19Gotcha.
23:20We always like to give each other a hard time.
23:22Captain Jordan was over here.
23:23He got a nice sword for each other day as well.
23:28So now we give each other a very hard time.
23:31I'll take that piece right there.
23:32It's nice.
23:33You're going to give it a look.
23:34Oh yeah.
23:34Just set it on the counter over there.
23:36Okay.
23:38Yep.
23:39Go freeze that thing up there and trim it on up.
23:42And these are more manageable sizes of fish.
23:46Um, a pretty thin belly wall there.
23:49We caught a fish not too long ago that was smaller, but actually had a thicker belly wall.
23:53So this fish is burning a lot of fat.
23:55He's traveling migrator.
23:56So he's long with that short length of 86 inches.
24:00If that fish was fat, you know, he'd be three and a quarter, even three 50.
24:02I've seen him at that size.
24:05We're going to put a few more on here.
24:06Then we'll go ice those down after we do this one side, get them packed in the Yeti.
24:12And then we'll start vacuum sealing some.
24:14And Jeff said he's going to send some to his mom.
24:16Jordan wants a piece for his friend.
24:18Charles is going to send some to North Carolina.
24:20And a fish like this will feed a lot of people.
24:23So that's the thing.
24:24Not just like we're hanging up just to get a picture and letting it go to waste.
24:28You know, you're going to catch a big fish like this, harvest it and eat it.
24:34That is what it's about.
24:37Sadie, say hi.
24:40Charlie here, Sadie, Rob, and Claire.
24:44Claire, you want to say hi?
24:46Nope.
24:47And we were at the one and only Lazy Days on the beach.
24:53And Rob, did you bring the swordfish?
24:55It is here.
24:56We have tuna also.
24:58So our fresh swordfish is here.
25:01We're going to cook it up.
25:02Tuna appetizer.
25:03We're going to do, what are we going to do?
25:04We're going to grill it and do Lazy Days style.
25:06On the swordfish?
25:07Yeah.
25:07Perfect.
25:08If you're wondering where all that swordfish went, I picked the girls up from school.
25:12And we had to give the principal a nice big chunk of swordfish.
25:15As well as the office manager.
25:17Just in case the girls don't get good grades that they pass some.
25:20I'm just kidding.
25:20They have to study and get good grades.
25:22And then we gave away to a bunch of people at the marina.
25:25Went to the bank the other day, gave them some.
25:28And before you knew it, the Yeti cooler was empty.
25:32But it fed a lot of people.
25:33We're going to eat here at Lazy Days and we will show you guys how it turns out.
25:37And if you come down here to the Keys, a lot of restaurants do hook and cook.
25:40So they do cook your catch.
25:42And if you bring them fish that you caught, they will cook it up.
25:45So it's a really cool thing.
25:46So if you go down to Bud and Mary's and go fishing, take your catch here to Lazy Days.
25:49Right next door.
25:50You can walk here if you're staying there.
25:57Okay, come on up here instead of spitting.
26:00Cracker Vic showed up.
26:05This is the tuna.
26:06Now they don't do tuna raw here anymore, huh?
26:10They seared up.
26:11It's got a little garlic on it.
26:12It's got a little cilantro, some parsley, some lemon.
26:16Sear it up with garlic, lemon, and cilantro.
26:19The swordfish is looking good.
26:25Are you trying to get me set up?
26:28I think Lazy Days does one of the very best
26:33cooking cook in the Florida Keys.
26:36Top notch.
26:37Lazy Days style if you like something a little more elaborate.
26:40But the grilled fish, that's really where it's at.
26:42They don't overcook it just right.
26:45A little bit of olive oil, nothing crazy.
26:47You can't miss at the end of the day when you're exhausted.
26:51Rob, what do you think?
26:53I think you didn't catch this swordfish, but you're eating it.
26:57Good.
26:58How's the Lazy Day style, Rob?
27:00It's good.
27:00I'm about it.
27:01I'm probably grilled better.
27:01Grilled better?
27:02Simple and better.
27:03I'm good.
27:03Charlie, what do you think?
27:05I prefer the, uh, I prefer the grill, but you know what?
27:09We eat a lot of simply grilled fish down here, so the Lazy Day style is a nice change of
27:13pace.
27:13It's a little crispy.
27:14You don't normally get crispy-style swordfish.
27:17It's very true.
27:17Pretty good.
27:18Lemon pasta for Sadie.
27:19Look at all those things.
27:22So I have had plenty of grilled swordfish lately, so I will try the Lazy Day style.
27:29I got it right here.
27:30We're good.
27:30I just want one bite.
27:31It's the one-bite test.
27:34Lazy Day style, which is breaded and fried in panko, and then lemon butter sauce put back
27:42in the oven with some tomatoes, a little bit of parmesan cheese, and some scallions on top.
27:46And that is the famous Lazy Day style.
27:50What's he gonna say?
27:51I think it's good.
27:53It is good.
27:54It is rich.
27:56You better be careful you ate, like, two pounds of that, because it is very rich.
28:00It might go through you.
28:01But a different way to have it.
28:03I'm going back for one more bite here.
28:06The grill is always good, but this is good on any fish, honestly.
28:09Especially, like, white meat, like snapper, mahi, grouper, stuff like that.
28:16And it's not dried out or anything, which is important, so.
28:20Claire's ready to go home.
28:22That's gonna wrap this video up.
28:25Hook and cook at Lazy Day style.
28:27If you guys want a knick stick to have some fun fishing, go to the website stansfishing.com.
28:33If you want to try for a swordfish, go to Bud and Mary's Marina.
28:36We've got plenty of boats that are running.
28:37I'm not going to introduce myself anymore, but my uncle runs them.
28:40Captain Mike, Captain Jordan, and there's been a few fish around.
28:43So, hope to see you down here in Amrata.
28:45We'll see you in the next one.
28:46Mark Housuka
28:51Hold on with me.
