Writer/Director Emerald Fennell joins CinemaBlend's Hannah Saulic to discuss her film 'Wuthering Heights.' Fennell shares her thoughts on wanting the movie to be this generation's 'Titanic' while also explaining her perspective on its R-rating and the filmmaking process.

00:00I'm obsessed with this movie. There's so much I want to talk to you about, so I'm just going to
00:03dive right in.
00:04I read that you said that you wanted Wuthering Heights to be this generation's Titanic.
00:09And I know Titanic is PG-13 and this is rated R.
00:12So I was curious if that was something that you were conscious of at all while you were making the
00:15movie.
00:16God, what a good question.
00:17Well, I mean, I think, to be honest, when it comes to ratings, I always find it a little bit
00:22baffling because I don't think I think this is, you know, it's not it's it's very it's much more of
00:28a romance.
00:28This movie than I think people are expecting.
00:32And so, I mean, I think that lots of teenagers will be able to watch this movie as long as,
00:40you know, an adult brings them.
00:42And, you know, I think it's I think you just have to make the movie that you want to make
00:47that feels right to you and then, you know, not worry too much about things like ratings.
