00:00Hey everybody, welcome to Boatnet Channel. Today I'm going to be making a review of the Yardmaster Metal Shed, and
00:06I'll be showing you it shortly. We've had it for 2 years.
00:09Let's see there. 1 degree. So, yeah.
00:18So, there it is, the metal shed. Let me just show you. I'd just like to warn you that it's
00:27not been assembled properly. As a matter of fact, you can see that this has been putting it upside down,
00:36you know.
00:37It shouldn't have been. It was just me and my mate. We set this up so this is something like
00:44the house that Jack built. And some of the screws don't even, you know, they don't align.
00:57So, we just had to do what we can. That's the main problem with this shed. It's quite flimsy as
01:06well. And, yeah. They don't align here either, these screws.
01:16So, I had to make adjustments as well. Look. Just to keep it in place. And, the main problem with
01:28this shed is the, it's not sturdy enough.
01:37So, as you can see, this is actually snapped when the wind blew hard. See the way it's so flimsy.
01:49So, what I've done was to think of this DIY bit here. And, that would sort of lock onto that.
02:02So,
02:03when the wind blows hard, it stays, you know. Overall, the temperature in here is, what does it say, nearly
02:197.
02:21In the middle of summer, it gets really, really hot in here. So, I've installed this insulation
02:31and it sort of help. But, the good thing about the insulation is that it sort of stabilised the, the
02:43walls.
02:44I said the walls, or the, yeah. Stabilised the structure. And, I had these inside or behind this foil. And
02:57that's me. Look. See the way it's wobbly.
03:02So, that's the main problem with this shed. But, so far, it has withstood a bit. We've had this from
03:152018. So, this is coming to 3 years now.
03:21But, I had to install the insulation on the roof as well. Because, it does get really, really hot in
03:30here during the summer.
03:31So, the good thing about this shed is that bit there, where the light is able to get in. You
03:41know.
03:45So, what stops the wind from blowing this part of the shed. This part here.
03:54From pushing in this, these ones. It's a, what do you call it? What's the name? It's a hanger. Coat
04:07hanger.
04:11So, that's it. It doesn't come with the floor. So, this is actually, it doesn't come with the floor. So,
04:22it's just open.
04:24So, I had to buy these. See the dampness coming through. Not good. And, it's not been done properly.
04:39It's quite big. Six by eight. And, it's okay, I suppose. But, you really need to do, um, some sort
04:53of, um, adjustments to let you know.
04:59This is my short review of the yard master metal shed. Um, I suppose it's okay. If it's, uh, left,
05:11or if it's assembled right in the middle of the garden with no support, it would easily be, um, you
05:21know, it wouldn't last so.
05:24Especially here in Northern Ireland. Um, you can't trust the weather.
05:29Well, when it gets to, say, March to April, when the wind starts to blow really hard. As well as
05:38September till November.
05:40That is, you know, that is the time when you really worry if it's still there.
05:49But, uh, so far it's been three years and, um, well, coming to three years and it's still here.
05:58I don't know if this is gonna last longer. But, um, I'm just hoping for the best.
06:07I can't remember how much I bought it for. But, uh, hopefully this review helps.
06:13Thanks for watchin'. Bye.
