00:06um i've recorded this last year uh there's actually two guitars here right and left but
00:12for the purposes of um uh demonstrating in this video i'm just gonna use one and it'll be panned
00:20to both left and right and i'll show you what um filters i've used on bandlab by the way the
00:29bandlab i'm using is um a desk you know on the desktop just the website and what's great about
00:37this um what's great about this is that it's free although if you want more um features you have to
00:49pay you know but i'll show you that later okay so this is the raw recording of my guitar
00:58with no filters
01:03but the filters are here and i'll show you the effects once i apply them
01:08and see if you like it or if you could use it for your own recording okay let's play it
01:18this is the
01:18raw recording that i made
01:45right now i'm gonna unmute all these other uh bits here that i've recorded the drums
01:51on the bass on the bass let's unmute them and see what that sounds like
02:22like you've heard that now i'm gonna apply all
02:27all the filters that i put on it all right there's these are all off so i'm gonna apply them
02:35or turn them
02:36on one one by one let's go back to the very start
02:49and that's the green back killer
02:51and the weight gain
02:58overdrive for screamer
04:39Alright, so that's all the filters that I have applied on the track, the guitar track.
04:46Now, obviously, you can fiddle with the controls here and try it for yourself.

08:40let's try this one as well I think that's where I left that okay so basically if you like this
09:04effect you can I'll just put what filters I put on in the description below but you'll have to sort
09:12of figure out yourself the mixing right or maybe remove some of them if you don't think it has any
09:23positive impact on your guitar track now there's a reverb here let's try that as well

09:48and I think that's where I left that now this button here would be the mastering I think yep mastering
09:58so this is when you have to pay hey let's try each one of them that's universal that's what I
10:10picked
10:12and the intensity is normal right so that's free once you have that once once you opt for that but
10:20if you try to change that then you'll have to pay let's say apply and then there it is I
10:30don't have
10:31the money for this obviously yep I can't go there yet let's try each one of them right
11:09right so with regards to this four other ones obviously
11:14you have to pay if you want them on but let's listen to the effects that we'll have on the
11:22track

12:02but I like this one and I like this one but as I said you do have to pay if
12:12you want
12:12to pick these mastering options here now going back to oh going back to the filters
12:27you can only have one two three four five six seven eight nine ten
12:35and that's for free but if you add over ten then again you have to get membership and pay the
12:42fees
12:43what fees have they got there's annual 99 dollars a year and monthly 14 95 dollars a month you get
12:53a
12:53three-day file free trial but uh yeah as I said before I am not uh doing that yet
13:08right so there you are now uh as I mentioned before I've only used the left
13:19left track for demonstration so I'm gonna put it back to you know the pan goes back to the left
13:28and
13:28there's the right guitar I have two guitar tracks so I'll let you listen to both of them
13:35and they all have uh you know mixing uh things added to them right they're actually not the same
13:51because the tracks the individual tracks sounded different so I had to sort of uh find my way
14:01to say it bluntly right let's uh listen to it um both tracks
14:50all right there you are that's just the guitars uh the drums as you can see here they all have
14:56uh
14:56mixing filters I'm not even sure if that's the right word for if it's filters or whatever but they
15:04are the options that you have that you can put on each track on the bass as well well I
15:10didn't use that
15:10one but I'll be uh talking about that on another video so this is just for uh mixing and mastering
15:19the
15:19guitar track using bandlab um I'm not paid by bandlab by the way I'm an amateur uh music producer
15:31and an amateur uh guitarist amateur drummer blah blah blah right so I hope you like this video if you
