FIFA World Cup 1966 champions England's Florida training camp is less about routine friendlies and more about acclimatising before the world's biggest football tournament.

The squad trained at Palm Beach Gardens ahead of their second last friendly against New Zealand on June 6 as the players prepare for the soaring temperatures expected during the tournament.

00:47No bigger tournament than the World Cup so it's about arriving and just giving absolutely
00:51everything to make the nation back home very proud of us and to do that we need to just
00:56be ourselves.
00:57We're here for a reason and it's about bringing that, being the best version of yourself,
01:01being the best version individually and collectively, working every day to achieve our dreams really
01:07and to do that we'll have to be on it every day, we'll have to be ready to sacrifice
01:11for each other, we'll have to be ready to do all the invisible work as the gaffer says.
01:15I think it's important to try to just build your capacity really to these conditions,
01:20I know that depending on where you're playing in the country can be different all over so
01:25it's hard to really adapt but it's about this week to get some, to build that capacity
01:30to get used to the heat a little bit, the games will be good for that as well, to get
01:35that exposure so just best we can, we've got an amazing team behind the team.
01:52Even now I got goosebumps because it brings back memories and you know it's not easy to win
01:58that trophy it's every four years so you don't have as a player so many chances to be able to
02:06win it and lift it so I think for everyone who ever lifted that trophy, it's a lot of fun.
02:10You actually want to repeat and you want to win it again, it's going to be fantastic, everyone will get
02:15so excited, I've been living in Chicago for three years, I know what it means for the US to have
02:21that kind of sport event and so the positiveness and the excitement will be huge and it will be an
02:28unbelievable journey, unbelievable tournament and I'm looking forward to be part of it.
02:33More than a billion people across the world will watch and when this trophy is hoisted into the air, they
02:40will see something that is all too rare in this world, something that people work their entire lives to achieve,
02:48even if for just a brief fleeting moment, they will see greatness.
02:53You guys ready for that?
02:54You ready?
02:58The first of seven games that will be hosted across New York, New Jersey.
03:03Bastian, it would probably be best if you don't sit with the Brazilian fans.
03:06On June 13th and over the month that follows, greatness will exist on the pitch and it will feel right
03:12at home here in New York City.
