00:00:00Thank you very much, everybody.
00:00:07So, I just did an interview in the most beautiful barn I've ever seen.
00:00:12Ken, it was a beauty, but it was raining.
00:00:14And it was with NBC Fake News.
00:00:20And because it was raining, I got a little bit angry at them.
00:00:24I was not happy with them.
00:00:25But we had a good time.
00:00:27I just want to thank everybody for being here.
00:00:29We love the farmers.
00:00:30We love everything about your state.
00:00:35And, you know, we won your state by a lot.
00:00:38And we've had great success here in Wisconsin.
00:00:41And we brought a lot of business to Wisconsin.
00:00:43We recommend it.
00:00:44I love the place.
00:00:45And hopefully you're going to be voting Republican because, frankly, Republican is — I call
00:00:51it the sane way to go.
00:00:52It's the sane way.
00:00:54Because what I'm seeing from the Democrats, they're going to have some problems.
00:00:57And, by the way, if they don't, if they win, this country is finished.
00:01:01We're in trouble.
00:01:01So, I hate to say that you have no choice, but I don't think you have much of a choice.
00:01:06These are some very sick puppies that I'm looking at that are running for office.
00:01:10And on the other side, I call them the Democrats, D-U-M.
00:01:14You take out the B. A lot of people don't know dumb has a B. You take out the B.
00:01:18And you
00:01:19change the E. You put the U. And you have a Democrat.
00:01:22But they are — their policy is just outstandingly bad.
00:01:27And it's really bad for the farmer because we were having record stuff.
00:01:31And then we had to put out a fire.
00:01:32We had to extinguish a nuclear weapon, a capable — this was going to be a very capable
00:01:40country that was going to have a massive nuclear presence.
00:01:43And we weren't going to let that happen.
00:01:45Nobody wanted that to happen.
00:01:46And we've largely finished that, you'll see.
00:01:52And one way or the other, it's finished.
00:01:57It's either finished with a piece of paper or finished a more difficult way, although
00:02:01you could say a much easier way.
00:02:04As you know, with Iran, they have no Navy.
00:02:08159 ships in four days — even Ken is impressed by that — four days, 159 ships at the bottom
00:02:16of the sea.
00:02:17Not that we like that, but that's the way it is.
00:02:20And the blockade is unbelievable.
00:02:22There's never been a blockade like that.
00:02:23The Navy is — we have the greatest military anywhere in the world.
00:02:27There's never been a military like that.
00:02:34And if you remember, when all the heat I was taking from the Democrats — it would be nice.
00:02:40I'll use the Democrats at least half the time.
00:02:42But if you remember, the heat that I had to take to get help for the farmer and also
00:02:49to get help for the military because they don't want anything to do with the military,
00:02:52the farmer, or for the most part, they don't want anything to do with anything good.
00:02:57And that's why the midterms are coming up.
00:02:59And I hope you people are really spiritized because we're at a point — we're going to
00:03:04come out of Iran very quickly, and it's going to be very strong — one way or the other,
00:03:08whether it's a piece of paper or the very tough way, okay?
00:03:12The very tough way is maybe the easier way.
00:03:15But we're going to come out, and your fertilizer prices are going to go way down, just like
00:03:21they were four months ago.
00:03:22Your fertilizer is down, your energy is down, your oil, your gas is all coming way down.
00:03:28And, frankly, I thought it would go much higher than it did.
00:03:30I thought, frankly, that gasoline would be much higher than it was.
00:03:34I was in Iowa, another place I like a lot.
00:03:37And it was just before we started the excursion to Iran.
00:03:42And we passed gas stations.
00:03:44It was $1.85 a gallon.
00:03:47And we're going to get them down to those numbers again very quickly.
00:03:54But as they say in the farming business, we had to take care of business.
00:04:00Look at this guy over here.
00:04:00I don't know who the hell he is, but he is one hell of a specimen, I can tell you.
00:04:07This guy is one hell of a physical specimen.
00:04:10I thought I was big until I met you, Joe, you know?
00:04:14You're fantastic.
00:04:15That's what I like.
00:04:17Anyway, I just want to let you all know that I'm thrilled to be here at Custer Farms.
00:04:22And Ken and his family, they're amazing.
00:04:24I took pictures with them backstage and got to know them a little bit.
00:04:27They're really amazing people.
00:04:29They built this country.
00:04:31You all built this country.
00:04:32Not the complainers.
00:04:33Not the wise guys.
00:04:34You all built this country.
00:04:36And I just want to
00:04:42And I just want to just let you know that Wisconsin, for me, has been just a great place.
00:04:47You know, it's known as difficult.
00:04:49It's difficult.
00:04:50You got to be good to win.
00:04:51But we won here, as you know.
00:04:54We won it a lot.
00:04:55And we're trying to figure out who the few people that voted against us are.
00:04:59We're looking for them right now.
00:05:01But today, we're celebrating the historic strides for some of the most loyal, hardworking
00:05:06patriots anywhere in the nation.
00:05:08And they're really called our American farmers.
00:05:11And we're with you a thousand percent, or I wouldn't be here.
00:05:14We're with you like you wouldn't believe.
00:05:17And you're going to see some very good things happen over the next 90-day period.
00:05:21I told Ken, 90 days.
00:05:23Watch what happens.
00:05:24You're going to be better than you were four months ago.
00:05:27And before we begin, I'm delighted to report that, for the third month in a row, the jobs
00:05:33numbers — I guess you saw them this morning — they just got released, and they smashed
00:05:37all expectations by — actually, three times with —
00:05:47And this is during a military conflict.
00:05:49I call it that because it's really not that much of a war.
00:05:53But it's a military conflict.
00:05:55It's a practice.
00:05:55But this is — 172,000 jobs were created in May.
00:06:01That's about four times higher than anticipated.
00:06:05And experts predicted 30,000 jobs.
00:06:07These are the strongest job numbers of the entire administration so far.
00:06:13And that's during this conflict on top of it.
00:06:16So it's great.
00:06:17And you know, we have a thing.
00:06:18We have a problem in this country because it used to be if you're — I'm a little older
00:06:22than a couple of you.
00:06:23But I don't feel old.
00:06:25I feel the same as I did 50 years ago.
00:06:27It's crazy, Mr. Senator.
00:06:28We got a great senator right here, Ron.
00:06:31But I do feel the same.
00:06:33But in the old days, you know, if you had good job numbers, like great job numbers, like they
00:06:39announced today, the stock market goes up.
00:06:41Today, everything is crazy.
00:06:44The whole world is crazy.
00:06:46So when you have great job numbers, the stock market goes down because they think interest rates
00:06:51will go up.
00:06:51And when interest rates go up, they stop inflation.
00:06:54Well, you know what else stops inflation?
00:06:57Growth actually stops inflation.
00:07:00And they ought to go back to the old system.
00:07:02When we have good numbers, the markets ought to go up, not go down.
00:07:06And it would be — that's the way you build greatness.
00:07:08You build greatness that way.
00:07:10So I think it's going to — we have a great gentleman coming in, Kevin Warsh.
00:07:13He's going to do a fantastic job at the Fed.
00:07:16We're getting rid of too late.
00:07:18But we have — Kevin is one of the greats.
00:07:22So you're going to see — but you're going to see — beyond anything, you're going to
00:07:24see numbers coming in over the next more than two and a half.
00:07:28We have two and a half years plus.
00:07:30Can you believe how time flies, right?
00:07:33And can you believe the work we've done?
00:07:35You know, it's sad because you have speechwriters, and you have advisors, and you have all these
00:07:41people, and generally you don't like listening to any of them because if you do, you're in
00:07:45trouble.
00:07:45But I said, you know, I want to write about the border.
00:07:49And I want to talk about the border because when I came here, we had the most unsafe — we
00:07:55had the worst border maybe anywhere in the world.
00:07:57There was no border — 25 million people came in, drug dealers came in, people from
00:08:02mental institutions came in, murderers came in — 11,888 murderers, most of whom — over
00:08:1050 percent of whom killed — can you believe this?
00:08:13More than one person.
00:08:15One killed seven people.
00:08:17We allowed them into our country.
00:08:19We've got them largely — they're going out, and they're going out fast.
00:08:22We have to fight crooked judges, crooked administrations, crooked politicians.
00:08:26But they're going out fast.
00:08:28But we have the safest border in our history.
00:08:32For the last 12 months — and this is a hard number to believe, but I don't give it.
00:08:37It's a number that is out there.
00:08:39You've heard it.
00:08:40Zero people have come into our country through our southern border.
00:08:47Zero.
00:08:53It's a little hard — if they said, like, 20 people, I would have been — you know,
00:08:5725 million came in through sleepy Joe Biden.
00:09:00So we had zero people.
00:09:03And these are done by largely sort of a radical, leading — leading left people, the reports.
00:09:08But it is what it is.
00:09:09And the good thing is they don't try to come in.
00:09:12It makes it a lot easier because they know it's going to be very hard to come in.
00:09:15Now, we take people in, but they have to come in legally.
00:09:18We want people to come in, but they have to come in legally.
00:09:21But I say, let's talk about the border, sir.
00:09:23Nobody cares about the border.
00:09:25I said, I won the election on the border.
00:09:27Let's talk about the — sir, I'm telling you, nobody cares.
00:09:31Run.
00:09:32Nobody cares about the border.
00:09:34You fix the border.
00:09:35I want to brag about it, sir.
00:09:37They want to hear about other things, like fertilizer.
00:09:40And we'll take care of fertilizer, too.
00:09:42You know, when I also came in, eggs were, like, the highest.
00:09:46And remember this.
00:09:47I inherited all these high prices.
00:09:50They came in, and they said, affordability.
00:09:53They made up the word, because that's the only thing they're good at,
00:09:56although I'm good at making up words still.
00:09:58They go, affordability.
00:10:01I was there one day, and I said to our great Secretary of Agriculture,
00:10:06what's with the egg prices?
00:10:07So, on my second day, I gave a news conference,
00:10:10which was more news conferences that Biden gave in, like, six months.
00:10:15But in my — he almost — he didn't do it.
00:10:19Yeah.
00:10:21Sleepy Joe is not heavy into news conferences, all right?
00:10:24He'd take one question.
00:10:25He'd go, oh, let's see — let's see — Jim Smith from NBC.
00:10:35I don't do that.
00:10:36They'd just start screaming at me.
00:10:37But — so I had a news conference on my second day,
00:10:41and they said, what about eggs?
00:10:43What about eggs?
00:10:43Tell me about eggs.
00:10:44I said, what's the story with eggs?
00:10:46Give me a little hint.
00:10:47What's with eggs?
00:10:48They said, what's happening with eggs?
00:10:50And I was told, you know, we have the great Easter egg hunt
00:10:54at the White House, and I was told to order plastic eggs.
00:10:58I said, I'm not ordering plastic eggs.
00:10:59And I called this young lady right over here,
00:11:02Brooke Rollins, Secretary of Agriculture.
00:11:04I said, Brooke, get the egg prices down, please.
00:11:08And she got them down.
00:11:09And, by the way, speaking of Tom Tiffany, he's one of the best congressmen in our country.
00:11:20And I was there, I don't know, seven, eight years ago, right at the beginning.
00:11:23I endorsed this guy.
00:11:24I didn't know — I had no idea, but I liked his last name.
00:11:27You know why?
00:11:28Because I bought the air rights many years ago off Tiffany, and I made a lot of money.
00:11:31So, I saw Tom Tiffany, and I backed him, and he went like a rocket ship, and he won,
00:11:37and you've kept winning.
00:11:38And now he's running for a thing called governor, and you have —
00:11:46And you have — I don't want to knock him, because he's finished after this,
00:11:50but you have a very sleepy governor, too, and you've got a very sleepy —
00:11:54But I can tell you, Tom Tiffany is running for governor.
00:11:57He's a winner, and he's going to do a great job, okay?
00:12:00Right?
00:12:02Good luck, Tom.
00:12:05So, in a single month, we added 7,000 new manufacturing jobs and 17,000 new construction jobs,
00:12:12and we're building more plants than at any time in the history of our country.
00:12:16We have $18 trillion coming into the United States.
00:12:20As an example, the previous administration in four years — think of this —
00:12:26had less — much less than $1 trillion come in.
00:12:29We have $18 trillion from countries and people all over the world in 11 months, not even in one year.
00:12:36So, that's some difference.
00:12:40And I think that's probably why people are shocked to see the job numbers,
00:12:44because the construction jobs are through the roof.
00:12:46But when these plants — car plants and AI plants and all the different plants —
00:12:51when they open up — you know, we're leading China by a lot.
00:12:54I just got back from China. I was with President Xi, who I respect.
00:12:58But we're leading China by a lot in the AI race, a very important race.
00:13:02And we're leading everybody now when it comes to cars.
00:13:05They're coming in from Germany. They're coming in from Japan.
00:13:09They're coming in from Canada. Canada treats you guys rough, you know?
00:13:12Canada — they put on big tariffs. We didn't meet them with tariffs.
00:13:16I took care of them my first time really strongly, and I am now.
00:13:20But Canada has been very rough. You find them rough to deal with? Yes.
00:13:24You're pretty rough to deal with. He's more of a diplomat than me.
00:13:29And we are doing well. The previous two months, we were revised upward by nearly 100,000 jobs.
00:13:35They put the numbers too low. So actually, we had 100,000 more jobs than they reported.
00:13:41They were obviously Democrats, right?
00:13:43Wages for workers continued to rise. And for manufacturing workers, wages are up more than 8 percent since I took
00:13:51office,
00:13:51which is close to a record. Think of that.
00:13:54A blue collar is doing better than it's ever done before. And you farmers — if you remember, we had
00:14:00a bad patch in my first term,
00:14:02where China and other countries were sort of boycotting the United States.
00:14:07And I met with the farmers, and I said, I'm going to get you something for it because you've been
00:14:12treated very badly.
00:14:13And I got 28 million — $28 billion for the farmers in the first term. Remember?
00:14:19I just asked Ken whether or not he got it. He said, I did.
00:14:22And we're looking at something also. Right now, we're looking at something to take the place of what's happened,
00:14:27because it's artificial. What happened to you is artificial with the energy and with the fertilizer.
00:14:32So we're looking at something. But in the first term, I got the farmers $28 billion.
00:14:38And I'll never forget, I was in the White House. I had about 35 farmers along this big, beautiful table.
00:14:43Not as beautiful as this table. Okay? But this gorgeous, beautiful White House table, all the best.
00:14:51And I said, I'm going to get you a subsidy. And they looked at me.
00:14:56And he just said the same thing. One of them looked at me, stood up, said,
00:15:00Sir, we don't want subsidy. We just want an even playing field.
00:15:04I said, nobody ever said that to me. All they want is money.
00:15:07You understand that? First time.
00:15:13Nobody ever said that. I've had so many meetings with different groups, different industries.
00:15:17If I said, I'm going to get you $28 billion, they say, oh, get it as fair.
00:15:22They actually said, we don't want it. Now, I got it for you anyway.
00:15:25I didn't notice anybody turning it down, but I got it.
00:15:28But they said something that no other group said, Ron.
00:15:32They said, we don't want a subsidy. We just want just an even playing field, fair trade.
00:15:38They just wanted to be treated fairly. And nobody else has said that but the farmers.
00:15:43So we love you. We love you guys.
00:15:45So we're building more factories now than at any time.
00:15:48And we've also had huge drops. And I'll tell you, this is something that's amazing.
00:15:54African-American unemployment is now doing better than it's ever done.
00:16:00And I don't know where that stat came from, but I'll take it.
00:16:04I don't know where the hell that stat came from, but we'll take it.
00:16:07And a short time ago, we were a dead country. We were dead as a doornail.
00:16:11If you look, go back two years, we were a laughing stock all over the world.
00:16:16We had a president that couldn't walk up a flight of stairs.
00:16:19He couldn't walk down a flight of stairs either, you know.
00:16:22And we had everybody. We were a laughing stock all over the world.
00:16:26And I was with the king of Saudi Arabia because I wanted him to invest trillions of dollars into our
00:16:32country.
00:16:33Look at that whole situation now, too. It's very interesting.
00:16:36But he was good. And he said to me, you know, President, it's amazing.
00:16:40A year ago, a year and a half ago, we thought you were a dead country.
00:16:44And now you're the hottest country anywhere in the world that we are.
00:16:47We're the strongest, we're the hottest, and we're the most respected country anywhere in the world.
00:16:56So, as I said, the stock market just hit 73 all-time records in a short period of time.
00:17:03We've had 73 all-time record highs.
00:17:06And your 401 s — who has a 401 here? Let me just say. A lot.
00:17:11Your 401 s, as you know, just hit a record high. So, that's everybody.
00:17:18And we're just off a very big success in Washington, D.C.
00:17:22We had — it doesn't sound like much, but Washington, D.C. was not properly managed or kept.
00:17:30We had 22 fountains. None of them worked for the last 50 years. None of them.
00:17:37They were graffiti-strewn. I did it the inexpensive way.
00:17:42Why should we have a screen? Everybody here has good vision.
00:17:44I want to show you something. Look at this. I'm going to show you the cheap way, okay?
00:17:51We don't want to bring screens that cost too much money. Look at that.
00:17:56That's before and after. Look at that. Look at that. Can anybody see that?
00:18:01That's before. That's our nation's capital.
00:18:08That's what it — look at this graffiti all over it. Filthy, disgusting stone.
00:18:12The stone was all horrible. And look over there. That's before and after.
00:18:16Then we had the reflecting pond. 2,500 feet massive. Longer than a building.
00:18:23We have a stat here that's sort of great. Can you guys see this okay?
00:18:27Because I'm too cheap to put up, like, a projector. Look.
00:18:31So that's the pond. If we're standing up. Here's your Sears Tower.
00:18:39Empire State Building. World Trade Center. Look.
00:18:42It's double and triple the size in terms of area.
00:18:45So it would have cost $400 million, Ron, to fix.
00:18:50It would have taken four years. And they were getting ready.
00:18:54Doug Burgum has done an amazing job. And I said, you know,
00:18:57rather than doing that, they were going to put stone down — big stone, granite, wonderful.
00:19:01But it all leaks, because you have joints.
00:19:03So being a very good builder, I said, you know what?
00:19:07I built a lot of swimming pools. Many, many swimming pools.
00:19:10Every time I do a development, I do swimming pools.
00:19:12I know more about swimming pools. I said, why can't we put the wonderful material,
00:19:18which is thick, pasty, beautiful like rubber, but industrial strength?
00:19:23Why can't we use it? And let's pick the color blue
00:19:26from the American flag, which is what we did.
00:19:29And that is the most beautiful thing that you've ever seen.
00:19:40And look at that. I mean, look at that.
00:19:43It just opened yesterday. It just — we just opened it.
00:19:46So it was going to take four years, 400 million.
00:19:51It took really about a month. Okay? It was going to — can you imagine
00:19:56Washington between Lincoln — think of Washington, D.C.
00:20:00— between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington — just think about this.
00:20:06You know that beautiful spire in honor of the great George Washington
00:20:10and the beautiful Lincoln Memorial? So between there, thousands of feet long.
00:20:16It was built in 1922. And to be honest, it never really worked.
00:20:22It leaked like a sieve because it was stone and concrete.
00:20:25So I took over the project. Now, Barack Hussein Obama — have you heard of him?
00:20:29Barack Hussein — Barack Hussein Obama spent — and Joe Biden, Sleepy Joe.
00:20:38They spent a total of about $150 million trying to fix it.
00:20:43They never got it opened. It never worked. It was terrible, disgusting.
00:20:46It was garbage-ridden. And I sent my pool guy. I said, take a look at it.
00:20:51And he said, well, sir, we can do it. We'll get industrial strength.
00:20:56And I used some guys — not him. I used some guys, but he gave me some good ideas
00:21:00because he's a pro. You know, they got very upset when I sent my pool person.
00:21:04I said, who else am I going to send? So I sent him over.
00:21:08And we sprayed it and put down beautiful — like a pool coating.
00:21:14It'll last maybe 50 to 100 years. So here's the thing.
00:21:18400 million versus like 10 million. Four years. Four years versus a month.
00:21:26Can you imagine? Can you imagine?
00:21:33And the difference is — look, here's your Lincoln Memorial.
00:21:38You have the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial.
00:21:42Look at that. Beautiful. Look at how that reflects.
00:21:45It's like a mirror.
00:21:46Or beautiful, clean water. They had, like, garbage.
00:21:49Barack Obama wanted to save money, so he took the water out of the Potomac.
00:21:54That didn't work out too well.
00:21:56A lot of things were coming out of that river into this one.
00:21:59It wasn't good. So we just — think of it.
00:22:02So, like a month of this work — we actually added to it.
00:22:06We did the sidewalks because once we did this, we had to do the rest
00:22:09because it looked so good. But think of it.
00:22:12400 million versus like 10 million bucks for a better job.
00:22:17Four years versus a month for a better job.
00:22:22We have many things like that. I talk about that all the time.
00:22:25We do a lot of things like that.
00:22:27So, we're very proud of Washington.
00:22:30We had 22 fountains that didn't work.
00:22:33All of the fountains — not one fountain in Washington worked.
00:22:36Out of the 22 fountains, they're all looking beautiful,
00:22:39just like the one I showed you.
00:22:41And now they're clean. They're beautiful.
00:22:44There's no graffiti. Washington, D.C. is a safe city.
00:22:47It was a very unsafe city a year and a half ago.
00:22:51And —
00:22:56a very unsafe city.
00:22:58Your child would go to see the Jefferson Memorial,
00:23:01or the Washington, or the Lincoln, or any of them,
00:23:05and would oftentimes not come back.
00:23:08It was a horrible place. It was horrible what was happening.
00:23:11And we put our great military in there, and we did a job.
00:23:14We removed 5,000 people that were career criminals.
00:23:18Two percent of the people — think of this —
00:23:20two percent of the people — did you know this, Ron?
00:23:23— create 91 percent of the crime.
00:23:25And I love that statistic, because you can get rid of two percent.
00:23:28And we took them out. We brought them back to where they came from.
00:23:31They came in — many of them came in through Sleepy Joe's open border policy,
00:23:36one of the craziest policies I've ever heard.
00:23:38So we saved a lot of money.
00:23:41And you go to Washington, D.C., New Grass.
00:23:44People say they don't even recognize it.
00:23:46We did that all in a little bit more than a year.
00:23:50And even I said it's amazing.
00:23:52But maybe the biggest thing is we don't have —
00:23:55it's considered now a very, very safe city.
00:23:58And you can go there, and you're going to be 100 percent perfect.
00:24:02We had — the restaurants were all closing, and now they're opening up.
00:24:05They don't have enough restaurants anymore.
00:24:07It's like — it's a beautiful thing to see.
00:24:09Every day, my administration is fighting to protect and defend
00:24:13the jobs and livelihood of our great farmers.
00:24:15I love our farmers, our growers, agricultural producers,
00:24:19ranchers from coast to coast.
00:24:21Under the last administration, Biden and the radical left Democrats in Congress
00:24:27crushed farmers with brutal restrictions, crippled you with the worst inflation.
00:24:32So the Biden administration had the worst inflation in the history of our country.
00:24:38They say 49 years, 48 years.
00:24:41But whether you say 48 or forever, I think it was forever.
00:24:45We had the worst inflation we've ever had.
00:24:48And think of that.
00:24:50And failed to negotiate even a single new trade deal for our farmers.
00:24:55They didn't negotiate one new trade deal for our farmers.
00:24:59I just made a great deal.
00:25:00I came back from President Xi, and he's buying billions and billions
00:25:04of dollars' worth of soybeans and other things.
00:25:06And you're seeing that starting to kick in.
00:25:14So, by contrast, in my first year back in the Oval Office,
00:25:18average farm incomes for agricultural producers in our country
00:25:22have skyrocketed by more than 20 percent.
00:25:26Now, it's been over the last couple of months since we went in for the military operation.
00:25:31You've seen fertilizer go up and you've seen energy go up.
00:25:34It's going to come down to where it was or lower.
00:25:37You'll be very happy.
00:25:39Otherwise, Ken is going to call me.
00:25:40He's going to bawl me out and I'll say, sorry, Ken.
00:25:43I was only kidding, right?
00:25:44All right?
00:25:45He knows I'm going to do it.
00:25:47With Republicans in Congress like Tom Tiffany, like Derek Van Orden.
00:25:51Where is Derek?
00:25:54This guy is, he fights like hell.
00:25:57He's in a little bit of a community that tends to be on slightly a little bit more than we
00:26:02want
00:26:02and left, but he loves them all and he's very popular and he's going to win by a lot.
00:26:07You're doing well.
00:26:07I understand you're really doing well.
00:26:09So, thank you.
00:26:15And he's a real fighter and he's a great guy.
00:26:17We've been friends right from all of us.
00:26:18We've been friends right from the beginning.
00:26:20So, we passed the largest tax cuts in American history with a great, big, beautiful bill.
00:26:26We made the small business tax deduction permanent, benefiting 98% of the farmers and ranchers.
00:26:33We gave you 100% expensing and bonus depreciation.
00:26:37So, when you buy a new tractor or anything else you buy, you're allowed to deduct it.
00:26:41Do you buy any new tractors?
00:26:42Got a lot of nice tractors back there.
00:26:44Got a lot of tractors back there, by the way.
00:26:46But, so you can deduct it at the full cost of the tractors, one year, any equipment, one year, all.
00:26:53You can deduct it all in the first year instead of over a period of many, many years.
00:26:58And we also saved the $2 million.
00:27:01Thank you very much.
00:27:02That's a big deal, actually.
00:27:04We also saved the $2 million American farms from, think of that, from extinction by ending.
00:27:10What we did is we got rid of the estate tax or the death tax.
00:27:14So, if you love your child, if you love your child, if you don't love your child, then don't
00:27:26worry about it.
00:27:27It doesn't make any difference.
00:27:28Does anybody not love your child in the audience?
00:27:31No, but if you have a farm like this, someday it's going to come to time, right?
00:27:34And I met your boys and he loves his boys.
00:27:37I know that because he started clapping for that last statement about no death tax.
00:27:42And he was clapping.
00:27:43He didn't clap for anything else.
00:27:44That's the only — that means you love your boys.
00:27:46So, boys, I just found out your father loves you.
00:27:48But think of it.
00:27:50We were — and I was seeing this in my first term.
00:27:52We did it my first term.
00:27:53We did it now.
00:27:54We extended it out.
00:27:55So, you have no estate tax or no — we call it the death tax on a farm or a
00:27:59small business.
00:28:00Now, I saw it myself.
00:28:04You have a way of life that sometimes you're land rich and cash poor.
00:28:08Sometimes you're in lots of different conditions.
00:28:10But people that are on farms love being on farms.
00:28:14You wouldn't trade my life.
00:28:16You wouldn't want my life.
00:28:17Believe me, you don't want it.
00:28:18Your life is much better than my life.
00:28:21I will tell you, your ear wasn't a little pierced over here.
00:28:24You didn't get pierced.
00:28:25You have a nice, safe, beautiful life.
00:28:28But I've seen it with farmers maybe more than any industry.
00:28:31People want to have their farm.
00:28:32It's a way of life.
00:28:33And they love — they love the life on the farm.
00:28:37And the family would leave.
00:28:39The father would die.
00:28:40The mother would die.
00:28:41Leave it to the kids.
00:28:42The kids would have a big estate tax problem or a death tax problem.
00:28:46They'd go to the bank.
00:28:47They'd borrow a lot of money.
00:28:48These things that we have done — and, Tom, Tiffany, I have to say, you were so helpful.
00:28:53And, Derek, what the job you've done with me in helping to get it passed.
00:28:58And let me tell you, that man is a senator.
00:29:00He loves the farmers and he loves your state.
00:29:04And he doesn't care about anything else.
00:29:06He wants to make sure you get treated fairly.
00:29:08And there's no better advocate — you have no better advocate than Ron — Ron Johnson.
00:29:13So, thank you, Mr. Senator.
00:29:22And he'll be a hell of a governor.
00:29:24I know the guy who'll drive you crazy.
00:29:26He'll be calling me, President, you got to send more money to Wisconsin.
00:29:30Leave me alone, all right?
00:29:32He'll do well, too.
00:29:34As president, I fought for the American farmer like no one has ever fought before.
00:29:38Nobody's — like, I'm up here today.
00:29:40I don't need this.
00:29:40I got elected.
00:29:41I don't have — what the hell do I have to be here for?
00:29:44I got elected.
00:29:45I'm here because I like the farmer.
00:29:47I mean, when you think about it, I guess there's a lot of truth to that, right?
00:29:51I could be home right now in the beautiful White House, enjoying watching somebody else on television talking.
00:29:57On day one, I terminated the insane electrical — electric vehicle mandate.
00:30:01They wanted your tractors to be all electric.
00:30:03They wanted your cars to be all electric.
00:30:06And, you know, look, Elon, he had a bad moment, but now he's a friend of mine again.
00:30:10He had a very bad moment.
00:30:12He's 80 percent brilliant, and 20 percent he's got little bad moments.
00:30:17But I love electric cars.
00:30:19But you know what?
00:30:19Not everybody wants them, and not everybody — in terms of distance and lots of other things.
00:30:24And I think they're great, but I also want to see all gasoline.
00:30:27I want to see the hybrids, which are great.
00:30:30I want you to do anything.
00:30:31And they wanted your tractors, you know.
00:30:33They wanted the tractors to be turned into all electric.
00:30:37And that didn't even sound good to me, right?
00:30:39That didn't even sound good to me.
00:30:41And it wouldn't have worked very long.
00:30:42You would have had to stop every 15 minutes to get a new charge.
00:30:45How would it be if you're driving your tractor along, everything's wonderful, and then Ken, he wants to work?
00:30:52He goes, oh, man, I got to go get a new charge every 10 minutes.
00:30:58That's not too good, right?
00:31:00You'd rather be able to operate it for about four days before you fill it up, right?
00:31:04So anyway, so we solved that problem.
00:31:06We ended the electric mandate, okay?
00:31:08And on day one, and one of the other reasons, this would have gutted the ethanol industry.
00:31:21Do we have fans here of the ethanol industry?
00:31:24Okay?
00:31:25Because if they got in, they will end the ethanol industry in one swoop.
00:31:29So you better remember that.
00:31:31And we eliminated all unnecessary restrictions on sales of E15.
00:31:36And I've made it clear that we're going to go E15 all year round.
00:31:40And I think it's something that you want, right?
00:31:43Do you like that?
00:31:44Are you happy with that?
00:31:45Are you happy?
00:31:47So they put a lot of these guys, that's all they talked about.
00:31:49E15, they were driving me crazy.
00:31:52They called me, can we talk about E15?
00:31:54How about something else, right?
00:31:55Tom Tiffany would call, can we talk about E15?
00:31:59But anyway, but you got your wish, fellas, okay?
00:32:02And we massively expanded crop insurance and issued a historic $12 billion in farm relief.
00:32:08So it's $12 billion, but it was $28 billion in my first.
00:32:11And we're looking at that right now about increasing it.
00:32:14And to stop major equipment manufacturers from restricting you from fixing your own farm equipment,
00:32:20we gave you the right to repair.
00:32:22Do you like it?
00:32:23The right to repair.
00:32:28It was a little strange.
00:32:30I mean, some of you are better mechanics than the people of John Deere.
00:32:33And I will have John Deere, Mr. May of John Deere.
00:32:36But they wanted to, you know, your tractor is broken down.
00:32:39I'll bet you can fix a tractor as well as about anybody else, right?
00:32:43I can look at this guy.
00:32:44I guarantee, if you were mandated, let's say you have a tractor that's broken and you know exactly how to
00:32:50fix it,
00:32:50you wouldn't be too happy about being mandated to bring the tractor back to John Deere or wherever you got
00:32:56it, right?
00:32:56You'd like to fix it.
00:32:57Not so much.
00:32:58I mean, they actually have, the Democrats, a restriction that if you get caught fixing your tractor,
00:33:05they bring you to jail.
00:33:07You know that?
00:33:08You know that I pardoned a man last week who was sentenced to seven years in jail
00:33:14because he got caught fixing his car or his truck.
00:33:18I said, I like to always say, what did he do?
00:33:21Sir, he was fixing his truck.
00:33:24I said, how long is he getting?
00:33:26Seven years.
00:33:27I said, say it again.
00:33:29It's the first time I've ever heard, like two weeks ago, I gave him a pardon
00:33:33because he had to go to jail because he was fixing his tractor or his truck.
00:33:42So I promise, Ken, if you ever get caught fixing your tractor or truck, I will give you a pardon,
00:33:47okay?
00:33:48No, but these are the crazy Democrats.
00:33:50That's what they want.
00:33:51I terminated the ridiculous so-called diesel exhaust fluid requirement.
00:33:56Does that mean anything big, right?
00:34:01Joe is happy, so I want to keep him happy just in case he gets violent.
00:34:05He's happy.
00:34:07And I repealed the Biden-era EPA, just the crazy Waters of the United States rule.
00:34:13It sounds so nice.
00:34:15It's the worst rule that you've ever had.
00:34:18Waters of the — how could it be nicer?
00:34:20What a beautiful title.
00:34:21It was like taking your land away from you.
00:34:25It was horrible.
00:34:25And I totally repealed it.
00:34:27And there are some people — you know, when I did that repeal,
00:34:30I had a lot of farmers and contractors — builders, house builders — in my office.
00:34:35And I announced a repeal in front of them.
00:34:38I signed it.
00:34:39And these are tough guys.
00:34:40In fact, they look like him, just smaller.
00:34:43And who isn't smaller?
00:34:45I think everybody's smaller.
00:34:47But, no, they look like — they look like Joe.
00:34:49And they were crying — half of them were crying.
00:34:51You remember that?
00:34:52Half of them were crying.
00:34:54I said, why are you crying?
00:34:56What's the big deal?
00:34:56He said, you gave us back our life.
00:34:58They actually had their life taken away.
00:35:00They couldn't touch their land.
00:35:02If they even touched it, they were in violation.
00:35:05They also would go to jail.
00:35:06That was the crazy environmental nonsense
00:35:09that we're all putting up with, which has largely ended.
00:35:12Perhaps most importantly, with our historic trade deals,
00:35:15I've dramatically expanded exports of American meat,
00:35:18poultry, soybeans, biofuels,
00:35:20and, of course, Wisconsin dairy the best.
00:35:23Right?
00:35:24That's right.
00:35:30And I just see that dairy exports have surged
00:35:33nearly $1.2 billion under our leadership.
00:35:37And it just — and this is with a conflict going on.
00:35:41Remember what I said?
00:35:42Ken, when this conflict ends,
00:35:45you're going to see things that you've never seen before,
00:35:47because we are ready to rock.
00:35:49We've never been — we've never had this kind of investment
00:35:51coming into our country.
00:35:53Nobody else has, either.
00:35:54Nobody has ever had anywhere near — not even near, including China —
00:35:58nobody's had this kind of investment coming into a country.
00:36:02So, increasing 41 percent to Japan, you've increased your sales.
00:36:0641 percent to Japan.
00:36:0848 percent to the Middle East.
00:36:1061 percent to European Union.
00:36:1363 percent to South Asia.
00:36:1785 percent to Australia.
00:36:20So, you're doing pretty well.
00:36:22You're going to see it, and you're going to see it a lot better
00:36:24in about three months from now.
00:36:25I also signed something that you may or may not like.
00:36:32I don't know.
00:36:33It sounded good to me.
00:36:34It didn't sound very bad to me, but people love it.
00:36:37I also signed the Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act.
00:36:41Do you know what that means?
00:36:50That was — that was another one.
00:36:52I had a big signing at the White House.
00:36:55We had some people that had been fighting for that for years.
00:36:57I said — I called Ron.
00:36:59I said, Ron, what's to fight for?
00:37:01I mean, it just sounds good.
00:37:02And it's just better.
00:37:03It's healthy.
00:37:04I like it.
00:37:05I drank it.
00:37:06I don't know.
00:37:07It gets harder to get it.
00:37:08Now we have it.
00:37:08So that, you know, it's totally opened up now for the kids,
00:37:11and it's great for anybody.
00:37:12And now we're working with Congress to quickly pass the new Farm Bill.
00:37:16We're very well into it.
00:37:18We got some great approvals, the hardest approvals.
00:37:20And I think we're very well on our way to getting the Farm Bill finished and approved.
00:37:24And just to finish up, with the help of the farmers like those here,
00:37:28today we're also helping bring down grocery prices for hardworking Americans,
00:37:33and they're coming down very rapidly.
00:37:35Remember, I inherited these prices.
00:37:37I didn't start — my prices were great.
00:37:40They rigged the election.
00:37:41Can you imagine?
00:37:42When I turned — the election was totally rigged.
00:37:44It was a rigged election — just like they're rigging the election right now,
00:37:48it looks like, in California.
00:37:49Can you imagine?
00:37:50It's four days, and they still aren't even close to telling you who won.
00:37:55You know why?
00:37:56Because they're rigging the election.
00:37:58That's why.
00:37:59Four days.
00:38:03You know, in Spain, they had an election — I'm not a big fan of Spain,
00:38:06to be honest with you.
00:38:07It's gone very far left.
00:38:09But they had an election.
00:38:10All the votes were in.
00:38:12Similar size to the state of California.
00:38:15A little larger, actually.
00:38:17And every vote was in by 10 o'clock in the evening and counted.
00:38:21You're going to be waiting weeks to get these votes.
00:38:24It's corrupt.
00:38:26Somebody said it's incompetent.
00:38:28I said, no, just the opposite.
00:38:29It's unbelievably competent if you happen to be a Democrat politician.
00:38:35Because with their policies, the only way they can get elected is to cheat.
00:38:39And when you look at an election — not even relatively a big election — for one state,
00:38:45for one city, for Los Angeles, they're nowhere close to counting the votes.
00:38:49But you look at what's happening.
00:38:51It's getting tighter and tighter and tighter.
00:38:54And the people that were supposed to win — bad things are happening.
00:38:58It's a crooked state.
00:38:59We have crooked third-world elections in a lot of our states.
00:39:02And we should pass our Save America Act.
00:39:14Amazing.
00:39:22And that'll really stop it, too.
00:39:24That'll stop it.
00:39:25You know, that's where you have voter ID.
00:39:28That's where you have birth of — you know, your citizenship.
00:39:31You have to prove your citizenship.
00:39:33I think that sounds good.
00:39:35And also, you know, I added a couple in there.
00:39:37Also, the ballots — the voting — the mail-in ballots.
00:39:40So crooked.
00:39:41They send millions of ballots out all over the place.
00:39:44If you're a Democrat, sometimes you get six or seven.
00:39:48If you're a Republican, you have to call up,
00:39:49where are my ballots?
00:39:51It's such a crooked deal with third-world country.
00:39:54But I added two things.
00:39:55No men playing in women's sports.
00:40:05And this is, like, best of.
00:40:08No transgender mutilization surgery on your child, on your children.
00:40:16So we added them.
00:40:20So we inherited very high costs, and we're getting them down.
00:40:23They're coming down very rapidly.
00:40:25And when fuel comes down, they're really going to come down.
00:40:27And I just want to say it's an honor to be here.
00:40:30We have Senator Ron Johnson.
00:40:32We have Congressman Tom Tiffany.
00:40:34We have Congressman Derrick Van Orden.
00:40:36We have Hall of Fame offensive lineman Joe Tom —
00:40:40Oh, that's — look at the size of this guy.
00:40:42Good.
00:40:43Boy, oh, boy.
00:40:44So you're a Hall of Fame.
00:40:46Did anybody get by you?
00:40:48Never.
00:40:49Never.
00:40:51He's a good — he's a good-looking man.
00:40:53That's great, Joe.
00:40:54It's great to know you.
00:40:55Really good.
00:40:56Great career, too.
00:40:57I know who you are.
00:40:57Former President of Leinenkugel Brewing Company,
00:41:01Jake Leinenkugel.
00:41:05Thank you, Jen.
00:41:10The owner here of Custer Farms, and he's a great guy.
00:41:13I think I can almost call him a friend.
00:41:15We had a great time back there.
00:41:16And a wonderful family.
00:41:18Ken, thank you very much.
00:41:25And a fantastic dairy farmer, Jamie Witspalek.
00:41:31Where is Jamie?
00:41:32Jamie.
00:41:33Hi, Jamie.
00:41:36And finally, two-time gold medal winner in speed skating
00:41:39in this year's Winter Olympics, Jordan Stolls.
00:41:43Where the hell is he?
00:41:44Whoa.
00:41:46Whoa.
00:41:49That's pretty good.
00:41:50Whoa.
00:41:51Stand up.
00:41:53Stand up.
00:41:57Yeah.
00:42:00USA!
00:42:02USA!
00:42:04USA!
00:42:05USA!
00:42:07USA!
00:42:08USA!
00:42:10USA!
00:42:11USA!
00:42:11USA!
00:42:12USA!
00:42:14USA!
00:42:14USA!
00:42:16USA!
00:42:17USA!
00:42:17USA!
00:42:18USA!
00:42:22USA!
00:42:23I'm keeping it, Jordan. I'm not giving it back.
00:42:25I'm a very good guy for keeping gold.
00:42:27I like gold. I'm never giving this back.
00:42:30Congratulations. I forgot to touch his leg.
00:42:33I didn't want to do that.
00:42:35But I can tell you one thing. His leg is like a rock.
00:42:38That's fantastic. Two gold medals. Wow, that's big stuff.
00:42:41Thank you. It's an honor.
00:42:42And speaking for my other athlete up here, that's pretty good, right?
00:42:47And you go through a big competition with a lot of great athletes, right?
00:42:50Are you going to be doing it again, another Olympics?
00:42:53I plan to be doing it until 2030, as long as I can.
00:42:56Until Salt Lake City in 2034.
00:42:58So that'll be on home soil.
00:43:00We're going to be watching, okay? You can do it again.
00:43:10So, we'll go in order if I can.
00:43:12And we'll start with Brooke Rollins and go to Ron Johnson and Tom Tiffany and Derek.
00:43:17And Joe Thomas, we'd love to have you say a few words.
00:43:20Because you can tell us about real tough life.
00:43:23And it's tough in those pits, right?
00:43:24Pretty nasty people in there.
00:43:26You meet some large, nasty people.
00:43:28But you can handle it.
00:43:29And Jake, we're going to ask you to say a few words, if you would.
00:43:33And Ken.
00:43:34And we'll go pretty quickly.
00:43:36Because I have to get back to fighting a war in Iran.
00:43:40There's a hell of a speakers list.
00:43:42We might be here all night.
00:43:44You know, if we can, fellas, I've got to get back to a place called Washington and protect you.
00:43:49Okay?
00:43:50So, if you go very quickly.
00:43:52We don't need your life story other than I like the Olympic guy and I like this guy right over
00:43:56here.
00:43:58And Jordan Stolls would like to have you say a couple of words, too.
00:44:02Okay?
00:44:03Hey, Jordan, why don't you start?
00:44:04Go ahead.
00:44:05Well, first, I want to thank you to all the farmers who are here.
00:44:08And I don't think people really understand how much you guys make a difference in the country.
00:44:13I mean, you guys are the backbone of the nation.
00:44:15And for me, myself, personally, I try to eat as clean as possible.
00:44:18And, you know, a lot of steak, a lot of dairy.
00:44:21And, you know, you guys are the backbone of Wisconsin.
00:44:24So, I just want to say thank you to all the farmers and everybody who can make it here today.
00:44:28And, of course, to the president.
00:44:30That's great.
00:44:30Thank you, man.
00:44:37That's a winner.
00:44:38Tough to win like that.
00:44:40You know, that's very tough.
00:44:41When you're dealing with fractions of a second, that's a tough thing to do.
00:44:45Congratulations.
00:44:46Secretary, if you would, go quickly.
00:44:49Very quickly, how about a big thank you to God for the rain and the farmers and for President
00:44:55Donald J. Trump.
00:45:05President Trump mentioned that when he came back into office, we inherited an almost $50 billion
00:45:11agricultural trade deficit, meaning under sleepy Joe Biden, not one new trade deal was struck
00:45:17and we lost $50 billion of market access around the world for you, our great farmers.
00:45:24But in just a little over one year, 19 new trade deals have been struck.
00:45:29The markets have opened around the world, we are going to break every record for dairy, for tree nuts, for
00:45:37corn, for ethanol, as we move the American farmers' product, the best in the world, back out to the rest
00:45:45of the world, while at the same time inheriting inputs that had never been so high in the history of
00:45:51our country, whether that was fuel, fertilizer, labor, interest rates, seed, one after the other.
00:45:58And those numbers all were coming down significantly, and as the President promised, will soon come down very soon again.
00:46:07Sir, there is no better American than the most American of all Americans, and that is our great American farmer.
00:46:15God bless you.
00:46:16Thank you, thank you so much, sir.
00:46:22Ron Johnson, please.
00:46:24Mr. President, welcome to Wisconsin again.
00:46:28You certainly have paid a lot of attention to our state, and we truly appreciate it.
00:46:33Like you, I met with these great farmers backstage, and you nailed it.
00:46:39They love farming.
00:46:41This right now is a third-generation farm, hopefully pass on to fourth.
00:46:46But they face numerous challenges.
00:46:48But what I thought was very common, and all the comments speaking to me, is they realize that you are
00:46:53going to fight for them.
00:46:54You have turned the Republican Party into the party of the working men and women in this country, who have
00:47:02made this country great, and who will continue to make it great.
00:47:04And they recognize that, so they know the big messes the Democrats left for you.
00:47:09They realize you don't turn those messes around and fix them right away, but they know you are absolutely dedicated
00:47:15to do it, and they love you for it.
00:47:17So God bless you.
00:47:24So your next governor, hopefully your next governor, Tom Tiffany.
00:47:28Please, Tom.
00:47:33Mr. President, where we sit here today, I grew up about 30 miles from here on a dairy farm, milking
00:47:40cows with my brothers and sisters.
00:47:42I want to thank you for signing that bill, whole milk for healthy kids.
00:47:46There is no reason kids can't have whole milk in our schools.
00:47:49Thank you very much for that.
00:47:54And I also want to thank you, and I want to thank the Secretary of Agriculture, because you've stood up
00:47:59for forestry.
00:48:00We are now, once again, managing our forests here in America that have been left in decline for three decades.
00:48:08You are doing good things on that front.
00:48:10And the final thing that I want to say to you, that gentleman to your right was the impetus six
00:48:16years ago when I came into the Congress of the United States showing what a disaster it was to convert
00:48:23our beautiful, productive farmland in Wisconsin and across America into intermittent sources of power like wind and solar.
00:48:32He was the impetus behind me talking to you about that.
00:48:36Remember July 2nd last year when we had that meeting in the White House?
00:48:40This is what we talked about, and it has led to higher utility rates, and it has led to the
00:48:47destruction of our farmland.
00:48:48We're not going to allow that to happen here in the state of Wisconsin.
00:49:00Mr. President, yesterday we got to spend about an hour and a half in the Oval Office, and you announced
00:49:06the $50 million that you are sending to the state of Wisconsin for a clean, beautiful coal.
00:49:14Thank you for that.
00:49:18Mr. President, you signed a $50 billion rural health care infrastructure bill.
00:49:24Of that, over $200 million is coming to the state of Wisconsin to make sure that we have health care
00:49:31in our rural areas.
00:49:32Thank you for that, sir.
00:49:37You signed whole milk for healthy kids into law, sir.
00:49:40You just reopened every single domestic market in our schools, and that is amazing for the Maha Movement, for our
00:49:47kids, and for our dairy farmers.
00:49:49Thank you for that, sir.
00:49:51Thank you, sir.
00:49:52Last thing.
00:49:55E15.
00:49:56We are bugging you, and this is the thing about the president you don't know.
00:50:00You call him, he answers the phone.
00:50:02And he understands these issues inside and out.
00:50:05So he was sort of joking about us talking about E15, sir.
00:50:08You took that on board hard.
00:50:09The only reason that E15 year-round got through the Congress is because of Donald J. Trump, and that did
00:50:15so much for our Roe Cropper, sir.
00:50:17Thank you very much, and welcome back to your second home.
00:50:27So, Joe, great, great football player.
00:50:30I would tell you, one of the truly greats.
00:50:32Hall of Famer.
00:50:34Thanks, Mr. President.
00:50:36Joe Thomas, Hall of Fame Farms, Muscadet, Wisconsin.
00:50:39You should come visit.
00:50:39It's beautiful.
00:50:40I've got to pump Secretary Rollins' tires a little bit for the small processors' action plan,
00:50:46because as a farm-to-table beef producer like myself, we see one of the biggest bottlenecks in our country
00:50:52is the lack of small packing and processing plants.
00:50:55For people like me that are trying to raise farm-to-table beef, Wagyu and Angus, and be able to
00:51:00feed our community,
00:51:01and she's doing great work with that new mission to be able to help us be able to feed our
00:51:07communities
00:51:07and not have to rely on trying to get into the big four packers, which is often impossible and leads
00:51:14to higher costs for the customer
00:51:15and less money and revenue for the farmer and the producer.
00:51:18So, thank you very much, Mr. President, and thank you, Secretary Rollins, for all the work you're doing for us
00:51:23small beef producers on Wisconsin.
00:51:29So, Joe, he played a long time in the NFL.
00:51:33He's a Hall of Famer.
00:51:35Who is the greatest quarterback you've ever seen?
00:51:39Oh, that's a tough one.
00:51:40Is anybody listening here?
00:51:41Because Brady and Manning were pretty good, and I'd have a hard time picking between either one of those guys.
00:51:47And who is the greatest running back you've ever seen?
00:51:50I never got to see him in person, but Jim Brown or Barry Sanders are my two.
00:51:55Okay, good.
00:51:56For football fans.
00:51:57You know, got to keep it.
00:51:58That's good.
00:51:59Thank you very much.
00:52:00Please, Jake, thank you very much.
00:52:04Mr. President, thank you very much for coming to Wisconsin.
00:52:08As we all said, I want to just say without the American farmers,
00:52:13we, as a company, would not be able to brew beer.
00:52:17In fact, out of all the thousands of breweries and across America,
00:52:22you supply the most important ingredients here in the USA.
00:52:29Barley, malt, wheat, and we use some corn.
00:52:33But thank you all, and really appreciate the time, Mr. President.
00:52:38And thank you much.
00:52:39Thank you, Jeff.
00:52:45Ken, please.
00:52:50First off, Mr. President, it's an honor and a blessing to have you here.
00:52:58We are, there isn't a, the sound on the roof is a blessing.
00:53:07We American farmers risk a lot and count on God's blessing.
00:53:12And our forefathers in this country understood that.
00:53:16That's what makes us great is God's blessing.
00:53:19And I thank you for being who you are, the integrity that you hold,
00:53:26doing what you say you're going to do.
00:53:28You make the right decisions for America.
00:53:31They aren't popular.
00:53:34And we, as farmers, have lost, as Secretary Rollins talked,
00:53:39a tremendous amount of our trade.
00:53:41And that's all we need, is we can compete with anybody in the world.
00:53:47We need fair trade.
00:53:49Yep.
00:53:49We lost a lot during that last administration.
00:53:52We're bringing it back.
00:53:54We're bringing it back.
00:53:57Jamie, please.
00:54:03Thank you, Mr. President.
00:54:05So, I want to say, as a dairy farmer and a mom,
00:54:11I don't know why he's doing that.
00:54:14Go a little bit further back.
00:54:16As a dairy farmer and a mom,
00:54:18I see how important it is for these policies to vote in place,
00:54:22not only for the families that are growing the food,
00:54:25but for the people who are consuming it every day.
00:54:28I was so excited to witness the signing of the Whole Milk Healthy Kids Act.
00:54:34I didn't even know what to think because, in reality,
00:54:37it was common sense to me why we don't have those options for our children in the schools.
00:54:42Whole milk provides essential nutrients that our kids need for bone growth, muscle growth, and brain development.
00:54:50So, I was really excited to be part of that.
00:54:52And as our dad always said, drink milk, it does a body good.
00:54:57That still stands true to this day.
00:54:59So, thank you, President Trump and Senator Rollins.
00:55:02Thank you, Jamie.
00:55:10And Steve?
00:55:13First of all, thank you for coming to Triple Falls, Wisconsin, and hearing us out here.
00:55:20Really appreciate that.
00:55:22And as I sit here and represent the farmers of this state and the farmers of America,
00:55:28I think we've all experienced some tough times here in the last four or five years.
00:55:33And listening to what you guys are saying, I'm very hopeful for some better times coming.
00:55:39And, you know, some of the stuff that we see and talk about that really affects us
00:55:44is the monopolization of the inputs.
00:55:48You know, at this point, there's four seed and chemical companies in the country that control 78% of that.
00:55:56Three fertilizers control 90% of the market.
00:56:00And four beef companies control 85% of the beef market.
00:56:07That makes it really tough for us when things are good.
00:56:12You know, our inputs just rise with the commodity prices.
00:56:16So we'd like some help on that.
00:56:18On another note, the big, beautiful bill is a real win for us.
00:56:23And we really appreciate what you've done with that.
00:56:25It's lowered our tax rates.
00:56:32It's given us the ability to pass these farms on to the next generation.
00:56:38You strengthen the crop insurance.
00:56:41You know, I think that all that stuff.
00:56:45And another thing that I want to mention is the border deal.
00:56:48We feel really blessed to have the control you put in place on the border.
00:56:55And other than that, I think you've done a great job.
00:56:58I'd like to add one more thing.
00:56:59We're in the pipeline construction business.
00:57:03And I was sharing with Secretary Rollins there that, you know, we were an 8,000-person company under your
00:57:11first administration.
00:57:12And we went down to 1,200 to 1,500 people now.
00:57:16And it's just starting its way back up.
00:57:19And we're in the middle of negotiations on a big project in Alaska called Glen Farm that I think you're
00:57:26very aware of.
00:57:28And we're in the final stretches of that.
00:57:30So I know that's not farm-related.
00:57:32But if there's any help we could get out of you guys for that, I think that's a real big
00:57:38piece for our energy security of this country.
00:57:42And that's all I have.
00:57:44Which we'll take care of.
00:57:49You all right?
00:57:50Anybody else?
00:57:54Would you like to say something?
00:57:56A couple of them.
00:58:02Thank you very much for, like he said, the one big, beautiful bill act.
00:58:06That was those tax credits.
00:58:09A lot of the stuff that supports the American agriculture
00:58:13through the trade side as well.
00:58:16We've got fair trade has been a challenge in America lately.
00:58:23And we need to get what we deserve for our products.
