00:08Welcome to MojoPlays and today we're looking at which Platinums take about as long as finding
00:12real platinum in your own backyard. Assassin's Creed has always had a good chunk of extra content,
00:17but some more so than others. These are the most difficult Assassin's Creed games to 100%.
00:22Let's do it. Before we continue, we publish content all week long, so be sure to subscribe
00:27and ring the bell to get notified of our latest videos. Assassin's Creed 3 Liberation
00:40Originally released on the PS Vita, Assassin's Creed 3 Liberation is a much smaller scale experience
00:45compared to the massive mainline entries in the franchise, which also makes it one of the easiest
00:48games in the series to fully complete. Unlike the enormous open worlds of later titles that can
00:54consume hundreds of hours and several fragments of your remaining sanity, Liberation keeps things
00:59relatively focused and compact. According to PSN Profiles, most players can earn the Platinum
01:04Trophy in roughly 15 hours, making it one of the quickest Platinums in the entire franchise.
01:08That shorter run time also means the collectible hunting and clean-up process feels far less
01:12exhausting than some of the later games. Honestly, compared to grinding every icon off the map in the
01:17newer Assassin's Creed titles, Liberation almost feels...wait for it...liberating...comedy.
01:33Assassin's Creed
01:38The OG Assassin's Creed is difficult 100% for a reason that has nothing to do with brutal combat
01:43or impossible bosses. The real challenge is just surviving the boredom. While the game was
01:47revolutionary in 2007 with its parkour and open-ended assassinations, the structure becomes
01:52painfully repetitive during a completionist run. Every city is packed with the same activities
01:57repeated endlessly, eavesdropping, pickpocketing, rooftop races and interrogations that start
02:03feeling like medieval office work. Then there's the infamous collectible flags. There are hundreds
02:07scattered across the map with absolutely no tracking system, meaning missing even one can turn the game
02:12into a nightmare of wandering alleys and rooftops for hours. It's less a test of skill,
02:17and more a test of human patience.
02:26Assassin's Creed Syndicate
02:34Assassin's Creed Syndicate takes the franchise to 19th century London and follows twin assassins
02:38Jacob and Evie through one of the series' most industrial and chaotic settings. While the game
02:42is sometimes considered one of the more overlooked entries in the franchise, it actually contains a
02:46surprisingly fun achievement, less packed with bizarre side activities. One standout is the
02:50CeraVisa-phile trophy which requires players to drink every beer brand scattered throughout London,
02:55because apparently Ubisoft decided historical alcoholism is an achievement. Other achievements lean
02:59heavily into the game's sandbox chaos, like a quarter furlong at a time which involves winning multiple
03:04street races, or challenges that require players to escort cargo shipments and even kick
03:0950 enemies off moving trains. Honestly, Syndicate sometimes feels less like a stealth game,
03:13and more like a Victorian-era public menace simulator.
03:16Oh, I'm shocked. Simply because you have never valued the pieces does not mean-
03:20All went according to plan.
03:23Assassin's Creed Unity
03:29Unity had one of the roughest launches in gaming history, with its release becoming infamous
03:34for game-breaking bugs, horrifying facial glitches, crashes, and enough technical problems to make
03:39Paris itself look cursed. For a while, many people genuinely thought this disaster might seriously
03:44damage the whole franchise. Over time though, Ubisoft heavily patched the game and Unity slowly gained a
03:49much stronger reputation among fans, especially for its parkour and detailed world design. Players chasing
03:54the Platinum Trophy still have a mountain of work ahead of them, however. Achievements like I Want It All
03:59require completing every single mission in Paris, while Curiosity demands opening every chest in the
04:04city. Even worse is Visited Once, which involves finishing every co-op mission, something significantly
04:09harder now that the player base is much smaller.
04:11I can't believe I killed Monsieur de la Serre. Your father, he wasn't the man you thought he was.
04:19Neither of our fathers were. I know exactly who my father was, Arno.
04:22Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
04:31Assassin's Creed Brotherhood introduced the full synchronization system to the franchise, adding
04:35optional objectives to missions that players needed to complete for true 100% completion.
04:40On paper, it sounded like a cool way to encourage stealthier and more cinematic gameplay.
04:44In practice, some of these objectives were absolutely miserable. Certain missions demanded near-perfect
04:50execution, while others became frustratingly tedious, especially during Leonardo da Vinci's
04:55War Machine side missions, where the controls could already feel like you were steering a shopping
04:59trolley down a mountain made of black ice. To make things even tougher, Brotherhood also launched with
05:03multiplayer that included its own trophy achievements. Those were difficult for an entirely different
05:07reason, because actually finding stable matches isn't always easy. Service stability for Ubisoft is about
05:12as stable as my family Christmas.
05:16Desmond, that was pretty awesome.
05:20Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag
05:27When it comes to Assassin's Creed 4, the biggest challenge with reaching 100% isn't necessarily
05:32difficulty, it's volume. The game features one of the largest maps in the franchise, and Ubisoft
05:38filled practically every inch of the Caribbean with collectibles, side activities, naval encounters,
05:42and distractions designed to consume alarming amounts of your free time. Hunting everything
05:47down becomes especially exhausting, because there are shanties, letters, chests, manuscripts,
05:53animus fragments and countless other collectibles scattered across islands and oceans. There are 200
05:58animus fragments alone, which feels less like game design and more like Ubisoft personally testing
06:03human patience levels. On top of that, the naval trophies require serious grinding, since defeating the
06:09legendary ships demands a heavily upgraded vessel. Unless you're secretly an 18th century naval warfare
06:14genius, simply finishing the story will not prepare you for this fight.
06:23Assassin's Creed 3
06:29Assassin's Creed 3 might not be the longest game in the franchise, but it can absolutely be one of the
06:32most exhausting to fully complete. A big reason for that is the huge number of optional club challenges
06:38scattered throughout the game. Some unlock naturally as you play, but others force players to go
06:42wildly out of their way, like collecting 50 undamaged animal pelts, or buying every single weapon
06:48available in stores. And somehow, those aren't even the worst part. The real nightmare comes from trying
06:52to achieve 100% synchronization on story missions. Every mission includes optional objectives, many of
06:58which are ridiculously easy to fail by accident. Miss one tiny requirement, and the game happily tells you
07:03to replay the entire mission again. Honestly, Connor probably spent more time restarting memories than
07:07fighting the Templars themselves. I believe we are on course. Be on the lookout for red coats.
07:14Assassin's Creed Origins
07:16I could use your help. I'll do what I can. But do not forget, I have my own justice to
07:23pursue.
07:24Origins marked a massive shift for the franchise, not just in gameplay style, but also in sheer scale.
07:30Ubisoft moved away from the more focused structure of earlier entries and embraced a huge open-world RPG
07:35format set across an enormous version of Ancient Egypt. As a result, reaching 100% completion suddenly
07:41became a much bigger commitment than it had been in previous games. A huge amount of time is spent
07:45clearing locations, since almost every area comes with its own checklist of objectives like looting
07:50treasure, finding hidden items, defeating captains, or opening specific chests. Individually,
07:55these tasks are usually simple enough. The real challenge is the overwhelming number of locations
08:00spread across the gigantic freaking map. Some areas, especially hidden tombs and remote ruins,
08:05are also surprisingly easy to miss, unless players explore very carefully.
08:17Assassin's Creed Odyssey
08:23In Assassin's Creed Origins, players step into the role of a mercenary for hire, although by the end of
08:28the game you've usually helped so many random strangers that it starts feeling less like mercenary work
08:32and more like unpaid community service across all of Ancient Greece. The game is absolutely overflowing with
08:37side quests, contracts, and optional storylines, which massively increases the time needed for 100%
08:42completion. On top of that, the map itself is enormous, packed with towns, forts, caves, shipwrecks,
08:48underwater ruins, and countless other locations that need to be explored. Completing everything means
08:53spending a huge amount of time traveling between islands and objectives. Along the way, players also
08:59need to gather collectibles, clear locations, and systematically hunt down members of the cult of
09:03the cosmos hidden throughout the world. Cassandra, good to see you. Cassandra, good to see you.
09:10Assassin's Creed Valhalla
09:17Just finishing the main story in Assassin's Creed Valhalla already takes an intimidating amount
09:22of time, so reaching 100% completion requires some serious dedication. The game features a gigantic
09:28world map divided into multiple regions and, well, some areas are manageable in size. Others feel
09:33absolutely massive. Ubisoft made sure those regions were packed with activities too, including treasure
09:39chests, artifacts, mysteries, raids, and optional encounters scattered practically everywhere you look.
09:45Some of the mysteries can become surprisingly difficult, especially the fights against legendary
09:49beasts that can tear through unprepared players pretty goddamn fast. And then there's the infamous
09:54stone stacking minigame that became the true final boss for many players, forcing people to carefully
09:58balance rocks while slowly losing their grip on reality. Did you enjoy this video? Check out these
