Taiwan’s Cabinet is calling for tougher penalties to combat the spread of the illegal drug etomidate, blamed for a string of fatal traffic accidents. Under the new proposal, the medical-grade anesthetic found in "zombie vapes" will be reclassified to a category 1 narcotic, making its manufacture, transportation or trafficking punishable by death.
