In Episode 1, we follow the Matthews family as they take a wrong turn during a road trip and find themselves driving through a decaying, eerie middle-American town. No matter which road they take, every path leads them right back to the center of the town. They soon realize they are trapped in a living nightmare alongside other lost souls.
Sheriff Boyd Stevens (Harold Perrineau) tries his best to keep order and enforce the town's survival rules. But as the sun begins to set, the real terror begins. Hidden in the surrounding forest are terrifying, human-looking creatures that come out at night. They don't just kill—they play with their prey. If you don't lock your doors and hang the talisman, you won't survive the night.
