00:01The following is a steel cage match, and it is for the WWE Championship.
00:09Now in this match, the only way to win is by pinfall, submission, or escaping the cage, with both feet
00:17hitting the floor.
00:20I hear voices in my head, they come to me, they understand, they talk to me.
00:37You got your rules and your religion, all designed to keep you safe.
00:43But when rules start getting broken, you start questioning your fate.
00:49I have a voice that is my savior, hates to love and loves to hate.
00:54I have a voice that has the knowledge and the power to your fate.
01:01I hear voices crying, I see heroes dying.
01:07I taste blood that's drying, I feel tension lies there.
01:13I hear voices in my head, they cancel me, they understand, they talk to me.
01:21They talk to me.
01:24They tell me things that I will do.
01:27They show me things I'll do to you.
01:30They talk to me.
01:32They talk to me.
01:34They talk to me.
01:35They talk to me.
01:38They talk to me.
01:46They talk to me.
01:47They call me.
01:48They have a friend.
01:48They talk to me, Mr. RKO.
01:50To the WWE Championship.
01:53All your judgians.
01:55You are guilty.
01:56All the boxes I will fire.
01:59All your bags, when I look.
02:00I can tell you this.
02:02JR from.
02:02Personally, having been in these type matches, that is an eerie feeling.
02:06when you step inside that steel cage. It's almost like stepping into a prison.
02:24Well earlier Randy Orton going biblical on us when he said judge not lest ye be judge.
02:31I found that a bit of irony. Yeah he might practice what he preaches.
02:37Nonetheless it's going to be judgment day for Randy Orton or Triple H inside that steel cage.
02:45The youngest champion in WWE history has a chance to make history again here tonight.
03:09One has to believe that Triple H is going to make the challenger and former champion.
03:19I don't know if that's weight as much as it is anticipation.
03:24Thunderbirds.
03:27Thunderbirds!
03:37Thunderbirds!
03:39Thunderbirds!
03:42Kenneth McCormick!
03:43Touchdown μ „οΏ½ Wheelhop have no benefit
03:47like a launch star and select team Finish smoke
03:50and set nations on top.
03:50The football ultimatelyοΏ½οΏ½ addiction.
03:51It's all about the game, and how you play it. It's all about control. And if you can take it,
03:57it's all about your debt. And if you can pay it, it's all about pain. Who's gonna make it? I
04:03am the game, you don't wanna play me. I am control. No way you can shake me. I am heavy
04:09debt. No way you can pay me. I am the place, and I know you can't take me.
04:14Look over your shoulder, ready to run, like a clean little bitch from a smoking gun. I am the game,
04:21and I am the dude. So move on out, and you can die like a fool. Try to figure out
04:27what my mood's gonna be. Come on over, suckle, I don't get me. Don't you forget there's a price you
04:33can pay.
04:34No man in the history of the 45 years that the WWE Championship has been around has been championed more
04:42times than that man, Triple H.
04:45The prestige of this championship is overwhelming in this industry. It was 45 years ago yesterday.
04:57In Madison Square Garden, when Bruno San Martino beat Buddy Rogers to become the WWE Champion. And here we are
05:06tonight, Inside Steel, with the most coveted title.
05:11It's all about the game.
05:12On the line.
05:14And what an opportunity for Randy Orton.
05:17And I have to believe that both these men, Randy Orton, and Triple H,
05:23Full well realized that either of them will be the same after this match.
05:29You know you can't pay me. I am your place.
05:32This is the Tenth Judgment Day.
05:34The WWE title has been defended eight times at this event.
05:39It has changed hands twice.
05:42And the irony of Randy Orton being a three-time champion,
05:46there's one company nominator.
05:50That is, Orton has been beaten three times by one man.
05:55The game.
05:56And only one man.
06:00Time to play the game.
06:11Time to play the game.
06:13Time to play the game.
06:13Time to play the game.
06:13Time to play.
06:13Time to play.
06:14Time to play.
06:14Time to play.
06:23Sometimes Randy Orton has psycho eyes.
06:28Introducing first the challenger from St. Louis MO,
06:32weighing in at 245 lbs, Randy Orton.
06:41And from Greenwich, Connecticut, weighing in at 255 pounds, he is the WWE Champion, Triple H!
06:56Again, ladies and gentlemen, as referee Mike Chioda gives the men their instructions, they're very simple.
07:02This match must be won by pinball, submission, or escaping the cage, which equates to both feet touching the floor.
07:10There can be no disqualifications in this matchup.
07:13Obviously, with the cage, countouts are a non-issue.
07:20Boy, you know the expression how some competitors have a poker face, a stone face that shows no emotion, but
07:27not Randy Orton.
07:28You can read a novel in his face.
07:30His face shows every expression.
07:32You can read, you can see the disdain he has for Triple H.
07:36You can see how he covets the WWE Championship.
07:40You can see all of his emotions, that pin-up rage in the face of Randy Orton.
07:46Oh, look at this!
07:47He's put it out!
07:48Orton quickly, what a smart move by Orton.
07:51Looking to escape the cage and win the match in the blink of an eye.
07:57Orton trying to get out of the cage before the steel door was even closed.
08:01Oh, and the Orton just ran the door and cracked the head of the champion.
08:14Expect extreme physicalities in this extreme environment.
08:27already the environment has had an extreme effect on this match, as the game is still reeling from the steel
08:36door to the head.
08:39This guy is just trading massive right hands here.
08:43This can't go on all night.
08:45Look!
08:45Look!
08:50Come on!
08:50Wasn't trying to gain an advantage.
08:53Again, easier said than done.
08:54and that high hearty race like me found its mark a nice knockdown triple h is such a a ring
09:01general
09:02there's such a presence in the ring like you said before we're not likely to see many wrestling
09:09holes applied inside this steel cage well the steel can be your partner or it can be your executioner
09:17oh look out what oh and the page has no prejudice as to whose skin it takes hey or randy
09:29orton
09:30looking to climb over the cage and escape which is one way of winning a big right hand oh man
09:36the game stepped right into the right hand
09:41and orton was a little bit out of it there kind of the ropes held him up
09:52orton set himself too soon set himself up for a swinging neckbreaker hey hook and a look and we
09:58got a two the two counts as referee mike quiota and again remember no disqualifications in this matchup
10:09triple h wants to pound away for five minutes on the handsome features of young randy orton that's
10:16just fine by the rules of this match
10:20knee of the game driven right into the forehead whoop here we go another cover
10:25and the game forcing the issue now beginning to build that momentum get inside randy orton's head
10:34two close near falls created by the chancellor and as sure as i say that momentum looks like it may
10:41be
10:41changing momentum could change in the blink of an eye in this match with these two great competitors
10:47oh wait a minute slinks your nose and the game right into the cage face first catapulted by randy orton
10:58wow
11:04watch here as orton uses the cage as you said his ally every opportunity
11:11orton looking at the cage as a resource
11:16and again took place thrown over the top rope into the steel
11:22oh his body just being raked by that unforgiving page as he falls there oh
11:29orton's lip already busted talking about orton's eyes
11:33they can tell many many stories
11:36and soak in a steel cage as you you could hear at home the game's head
11:42bouncing off the steel
11:44what's this oh man
11:52these are the kind of matches that shorten careers
11:58don't believe it look at triple h's head snap off that steel cage
12:05and then overzealous
12:08number one contender
12:11was caught off for a moment but then continues to be relentless in his attack
12:24that ddt is absolutely devastating
12:30and orton's got a chance orton's got a chance here the high impact may do it
12:35the ddt got him a near fall almost a three count
12:46number one contender using a choke which is legal in the confines of the steel cage
12:53the choke
12:53the fist
12:57anything goes
13:01and game just absolutely reeling here
13:04triple h being strategic and in that guard position trying to cover up and uh did a good job
13:12of it trying to ward off those right hands by orton you can try to ward them off but believe
13:17me those blows had an effect
13:22well that was it as well the third generation star peeing off and the game kicked out
13:27and what seemed to me maybe i'm wrong in a little bit more of a desperation mode in that kick
13:34out
13:35once again pinfall submission or escaping the cage
13:39with both feet hitting the ground that's the only way you're going to win this match
13:43orton trying to crib the neck of the game restrict the flow of blood to the brain if he can
13:49same effects as a sleeper same effects as a choke
13:54see triple h doing everything in his power to turn
13:58i don't know ribs man multiple shots huge right hands oh reversal
14:05got a beautiful power slam
14:10orton's wrist took a pounding and now the game is is the one that is going to have to rebound
14:15here the
14:16cover quickly and another near fall
14:20we are looking for one fall or one submission or one man to escape the cage
14:26with both feet touching the floor to determine a winner for the wwe title
14:37during the game in such a shape right now if orton decides to try to climb over that cage or
14:42go out
14:43that door the blade's going to be hard pressed to stop him
14:47you look at orton's circle and stalk the game and i'm i'm glad i'm not a mind reader because i
14:53don't think
14:54i want to know what's what orton's thinking what's going through his mind right now as he surveys the
14:59damage that has been done oh deep dark thoughts evil pure evil
15:08we know orton is remorseless
15:12and a hard kick right to the thigh and of course as general manager william regal looks on
15:19triple eight certainly isn't one of regal's favorites to say the very least but
15:22be that as it may the game has responded on two occasions from two career threatening injuries
15:28to his quadricep his thigh muscles as orton trying to exploit that and that could do it right there the
15:35knee to the sternum two and another orton again going right back to the cover pulling that leg
15:42back over the body using great leverage there's not a lot of leverage in these kicks and look at
15:49orton he seems to be shifting it into another gear into high gear here now
15:55orton has that used kicks
15:59oh well very effectively but that knee drop wasn't effective well one thing you got to
16:04appreciate about orton is his aggression but sometimes he could be too aggressive
16:10as we just witnessed man or beating the game to the punch not once but twice
16:19oh gosh that shot block and that takes you back to the evolution days of when rick player was
16:29running with the game and batista and randy orton and jordan said earlier that when he was a member of
16:37evolution triple h didn't teach him anything took this shot block out one time
16:45and now the figure four leg lock
16:51just being a member of evolution should have taught randy orton to watch out
16:55for that chop block and this hole the figure four
17:07two things to take up here one orton may submit which gives the game the victory secondly if
17:13orton's a movement his legs are damaged he's going to have a hell of a time escaping the cage
17:18he can't run he can't walk hard to escape and the cerebral assassin
17:29fully morton back to the center of the ring and this is great strategy by the game even if orton
17:35reaches the ropes the place doesn't have to break the hole
17:43orton's going to have to find some other way to get out of this figure four
17:47and the ropes will do that
17:49one two three
17:50why is it going to re-county come on he got to the rope
17:58he was right he got to the ropes
18:00oh look up orton's from the rko man we took her out the ball
18:05and that game trying to the pedigree turner good lord that rko could come at any place at any time
18:14and we just about saw it and you have to believe that if we do see oh wait uh-oh
18:20we're looking at that cage door remember orton's feet have got to touch the floor
18:28cage door's open or enough to get yeah the game he's got to realize it now but he's got to
18:32muster up
18:33the strength to stop him orton can become ww champion by escaping the cage both feet kind of touch the
18:39floor
18:40the hands don't count only the feet
18:45orton had at least half his body out
18:50and now orton's right there
18:53the opportunistic orton looking to escape the cage
19:05the game kicked away and orton deciding to use that steel chair instead of escaping out the door
19:13and it's all legal oh this is all about destroying the legacy of the game
19:21orton still holding on to that weapon hell not anymore orton's going lucky to hold on to his teeth
19:28with those good right hands from the champion
19:34face buster
19:36and the cover triple a's got the cover oh i'm gonna get man alive how close was that yeah
19:43i thought that was a three count but
19:46my kill is wearing a striped shirt not us the game realizing
19:51that that steel chair is legal hey say hello to my little friend
19:56the chair is as legal as a chin lock the place just delivered a face but here's a headbutt oh
20:02no
20:03but then again so is a low blow
20:08oh and we may have just seen the most deciding maneuver in this wwe title matchup
20:17and by the looks of orton's eyes he thinks so
20:24oh
20:28smack a steel and flesh tell the story
20:39orton doing the judging but before this match started i just thought these two men were only
20:44going to end oh contend with the the deal cage walls but now the steel chair in the ring the
20:49ddt was
20:50on the steel chair but this should do it here randy orton could be the next level
20:58and quite honestly that was a that's near a three count as one to get the ddt on the chair
21:04the game
21:05said he would wrestle this match as if his life depended on it and we're seeing that
21:22now what evil intentions are going through the minds of randy orton
21:32we have categorized orton as remorseless
21:36and we're seeing that exact emotion in the number one contender he's like a viper he's just stalking
21:43the game here
21:50but how calculating how cold this orton is orton is a premeditated assassin
21:59he's got intentions of rko in the game on that chair and the game has intentions of doing anything
22:06he can to retain the w oh drop toe hold orton's face bouncing off the chair
22:15and the irony of that is that it was a steel chair that orton introduced into the match
22:28that's pure instinct orton the third generation superstar as we said the youngest champion ever in the wwe
22:39some things do come very instinctively for randy orton he is an amazing in-ring competitor
22:50took out this intended rko countered by the game orton's head right into the cage and then
22:57head right into the steel chair
23:01great maneuverability by the game but nonetheless orton still has the the advantage and orton is
23:07thinking about escaping the game is on his way out orton is on his way out
23:12orton's looking to make bail and become famous
23:28boy this is where it gets dangerous right here both men standing on the top rope
23:37the cage invites another victim oh this is an opportunity for the game here he goes
23:45triple h can retain his title
23:47one of his big no horns up
23:51triple a's on the top of the cage this could be disaster or elation
24:03and it looks as if orton has prevented the game's escape
24:12a measured right hand
24:19orton looks manic
24:25orton looking at the cage then looking back at the game
24:29i think he's he's partially exhausted he's trying to decide whether he should deliver more punishment or
24:35trying to escape and i think he's decided on escaping or just gonna get that leg over i think he's
24:40got it
24:41orton's a hat if orton can get his right leg over the cage
24:46that's a big if
24:52triple h pulling orton back into oh man again
24:57the steel cage inviting disaster
25:05orton is absolutely amazing it's like he gets knocked unconscious but as soon as he hits the
25:10the mad he comes back to oh my gosh what the hell was
25:17triple h trying to underhook both arms i think triple h was intending a pedigree from that top rope
25:23can i imagine the damage that would have done oh no well there was some damage right there and now
25:29orton
25:29has a bold of opportunity it would seem if fatigue is not his enemy
25:38brandy orton can escape the cage and become ww champ both of these men exhausted orton
25:45mustering the strength to pull himself to the top of that cage but can he get over can he make
25:52his way
25:52down he's he's over orton's got to swing his other leg over and he's got it done orton if warden
25:59drops
25:59down and touches oh he can't drop from that distance
26:04triple h on top my god of the strength the game the will to remain champion this is nothing oh
26:12my god look
26:13at this the three plates holding orton in midair just by a by a choke hold orton just got front
26:22base
26:23locked that was was dangling at the top of the cage and that was some hellacious power and the will
26:29to
26:30to maintain the the control and oh but another hard shot to the head and now orton's got to try
26:39it again
26:42here he goes come hella high water orton's gonna escape if he possibly physically can
26:53well plays kicks again to the head
26:57warden oh
27:02there's the game zone version of that low blow that warden delivered earlier
27:11oh man fatigue both men have tasted the steel both men have been punished
27:18the game and randy orton competing for all their worth for the wwe title
27:25boy this match is still up for grabs who's going to win this jr
27:29you're asking the wrong guy oh oh
27:32oh that double a version of the spine buster uh-oh uh-oh the spine on the pine
27:42well the game seems to be feeling it
27:47and orton may be feeling that chair momentarily
27:52the game placed that chair there for for no reason jr i'm sent to the pedigree
28:02i think you're right he's up oh wait oh oh the counter and the game's spine and neck
28:09on that steel chair i think more neck than spine
28:15bounced off the steel chair
28:19and now the question is can randy orton capitalize on that counter orton stumbled and i think he thought
28:27he was going towards the door but he's in the wrong corner
28:35there are those look out look out oh man or look at the kick but no
28:41oh look at the kick the game's head off but the game took orton's head off
28:45with a steel chair
28:49a thunderous pedigree
28:51a hook of the way
28:53oh and we've got a winner
28:55the game and are you playing all of our control
28:59here is your man and still the wwe champion
29:06triple h
29:09triple h said he was going to compete as if his life depended on it and that's exactly what he
29:15did
29:16the mental and physical toughness of the game has seen him retain his wwe title
29:25it was all about the steel the steel cage and the steel chair
29:33but ladies and gentlemen as we alluded to earlier can either of these two men ever be the same
29:39after what they put their bodies through here tonight
29:44well randy orton took the best that the game had to offer everything that triple h dissed out randy orton
29:53took
29:54get tired to break the game
