00:20FWICE has now drawn his directive of non-corporation against Ranveer Singh in the Don 3 controversy.
00:26We have withdrawn the non-corporation directive against Mr Ranveer Singh with immediate effect.
00:32Here's what happened.
00:33The row began after the producer of Don 3, Farhan Akhtar accused Ranveer of exiting the project close to production,
00:39allegedly causing major financial losses.
00:41Reports claimed compensation worth 45 crores was being sought from the actor.
00:46Following complaints from the producers, FWICE issued a non-corporative directive
00:51asking its members not to work with Ranveer until the dispute was resolved.
00:56We have issued a non-corporation issue with Ranveer Singh's club.
01:00But the actor hit back.
01:01Ranveer sent a legal notice to FWICE challenging the directive and questioning the Federation's authority to impose such a ban.
01:09And within 24 hours of that legal move, the Federation changed its stance.
01:13But while the ban may be gone, the controversy isn't.
01:16The Producers Guild has also stepped in warning that last-minute exit from films can have serious consequences.
01:22So for now, Ranveer Singh is no longer facing a boycott.
