Capcom bringt am 25. September 2026 mit Onimusha: Way of the Sword  den ersten neuen Teil der Samurai-Actionreihe seit fast 20 Jahren auf den Markt. In einem düsteren Fantasy-Japan der Edo-Periode schlüpft ihr in die Rolle des legendären Schwertkämpfers Miyamoto Musashi und befreit die historische Hauptstadt Kyoto von einer Dämonen-Invasion.      Dafür nutzt ihr einen mystischen Oni-Handschuh und tretet den grausamen Genma-Monstern aus der Unterwelt mit eurer scharfen Klinge entgegen. In rasanten Schwertkämpfen teilt ihr mächtige Schläge aus, entfesselt übernatürliche Fähigkeiten und absorbiert die Seelen eurer Feinde.      Der neue Trailer, der im Rahmen von Sonys State of Play gezeigt wurde, enthüllt das Releasedatum des Dämonen-Schnetzlers für PC, PlayStation 5 und Xbox Series X/S. Wer bereits ins blutige Japan-Abenteuer reinspielen will, kann ab heute in eine kostenlose Demo-Version herunterladen.
