00:18they they get more prostate cancer so it's got to be checked so go along and have your psa checked
00:24definitely and have the old uh prostate examined it's not nice but i got the thumbs up well i think
00:32it's a bit swollen i think you should go and have a psa test so i went and had the
00:36psa test
00:36and it was 24 which wasn't good at all no that wasn't good at all and then so uh a
00:42couple days
00:43later the nhs have been fantastic they've been brilliant they've looked after me and they said
00:47right we're going to give you a biopsy check out where it is and uh it was uh i think
00:53the gleason
00:53scale you'll know about that and it was sort of intermediate like three three or four i think
00:57they add it up to seven or something so i said to the uh urologist that called me up i
01:02said this
01:03uh means it's you know it's terminal because that's the first thing you think of when you have um
01:07cancer and he said no he said you'll be buying christmas presents for many years to come
01:12and that made me cry because it's such a relief you know
