Some surprises do not show up until the car is already parked.

The clip shows a deer lodged in the front of a car as the driver works from the roadside to pull it free, shifting it out from the bumper area and away from the vehicle.

The filmer, Sinead, told WooGlobe, “I was driving home down a country road when a deer ran onto the road. I couldn’t stop because it was a highway, and there were other vehicles on the opposite side of the road. Unfortunately, I hit the deer at speed. I carried on driving; little did I know the deer was in my car. When I got home, I checked to see what damage had been done, and to my surprise, the deer was still there.”

The moment turns a routine arrival in Coventry into a careful, hands-on problem that is hard to anticipate from the driver’s seat.
