00:01Police are investigating a man who allegedly drove against traffic and caused a three-vehicle
00:07collision along kilometre 24 of the Damansara Puchong Expressway, or LDP, on Sunday.
00:14Serdang OCPD Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Farid Ahmad said the incident occurred at about
00:211.07pm. Preliminary investigations found that the car was travelling against the flow of traffic
00:28before colliding with two vehicles heading from Sunway towards Puchong. As a result of the crash,
00:34the driver sustained injuries and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital. Police have
00:40also taken a blood sample from the driver and sent it to the chemistry department for analysis.
00:45A CP Farid said the drivers of the other two vehicles were not injured in the incident.
00:50The case is being investigated under Section 42, Subsection 1 of the Road Transport Act 1987
00:56for reckless and dangerous driving.
