00:00The Islamic nature that God has instilled in the hearts of every generation since the time of Adam.
00:05He questions, "Who created me?"
00:07So, it seems that a Lord sees his mother, who takes care of all these things and brings them food.
00:12He sees his father bringing the food to his mother.
00:15When one examines cause and effect, one concludes that there must be an absolute, powerful Lord who orchestrates all of this.
00:21But my Lord says these things cannot happen.
00:24Then the verse continues as follows.
00:26When I see the sun rising, I think, "This is my Lord."
00:29Because this one is bigger, he said.
00:30And when it sank, he said, "O my people, I am far removed from what you associate with Allah."
00:36I have turned my face to the One who created the heavens and the earth from nothing, believing in His oneness, and I am not one of the polytheists.
00:43This is the questioning that comes from human nature.
00:45For example, we Nafis recite Subhaneke when we begin our prayers.
00:49Our Shafi brothers also recite this verse.
00:51Inni ve cehtu ve cihiye lillezi fatara's semavati vel ardı.
00:57Now, when reciting this verse, it's like reciting it normally during prayer.
01:01And also, despite Abraham's father, mother, and the whole community, you all read this and are one.
01:09There is a way of reading it while feeling its connection with my Lord.
01:29I have turned my face to the One who created the heavens and the earth from nothing, believing in His oneness, and I am not one of the polytheists.
01:37Of course, all of God's verses are beautiful, but this is one of them, sir.
01:42He is the second person most frequently mentioned in the Quran in relation to Prophet Abraham.
01:46He has slogan-like, password-filled prayers that offer a roadmap.
01:50And then there are those words that bring a person back to their senses.
01:53Yes.
01:54What did Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) do now?
01:56So he looked at the Moon, he looked at the Sun.
01:58This can't be, this is impossible.
01:59These cannot be God or Allah.
02:01"Something else must be going on," he said.
02:03So, no matter where in the world a person is, you know, like they say, in the deserts of Africa,
02:08In the vast gaps that have been found in America's workforce,
02:13So, he's asking how a person can find God if they're alone in the untouched jungle of Africa.
02:18Here's an example.
02:20Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) had not only an isolated but also opposing mother and father.
02:25And they say, "Our god is Nimrod."
02:28And they call them idols.
02:29Yes.
